Not exactly sure why the high ratings other than the reasonable cost for quantity; but certainly not quality. Spicy wings - super salty; sauteed eggplant with onions - super oily, thick slimy garlic sauce - scary - so much for healthy eating by choosing a veggie; brown rice - very shiny (oily) and slightly under cooked - so much for healthy options - oh and that costs extra - what a joke; szechuan shrimp & scallion - or bad, bad, bad.....salty and oily. Small pick up space; but not appealing enough to want to pick up there again. Whats good? 1. very nice order taker (young female); 2. cost for quantity; 3. regular wings; 4. regular ribs; 5. veggie fried rice - despite the frozen vegetables used; & 6. chicken with broccoli.

Though the place is small with, at most, three small tables to dine within, it is an excellent place with great food and awesome service. A television is prompted up to provide a moderate distraction while the food is being prepared. It really does not take much time to prepare the food, and the people there are extremely friendly and amicable. Their outgoing personalities make them likable practically at first sight. What amazes me the most is that you can get a large amount of food for less than $10.00. I give the restaurant five stars and recommend anyone and everyone to try it out. Its really good!

One of the few places you can find duck on the menu in North Miami...very small but AMAZING customer service and food is so tasty... Refreshing place ...I even sat down and although the guy behind the counter didnt have to... He came from behind the counter and brought my food table service style...CUTE!....what did I have? Steamed dumpling, Hong Kong duck, white rice and iced tea....if you want Great Chinese food.... This spot is for you.. definitely a hidden treasure

@MaggieSmith hey same here and tried vegetable fried rice and was all burnt up. GOD it smelled like very bad rice with the scent of crap. I asked for my money back. The cashier said #### NO get out or I will report you to the police! I eventually left. I was extremely hungry and I wanted to stop at another Chinese restaurant called Dragon City. I tried the vegetable fried rice, AMAZING so now this is my first AND last time here.

AFTER leaving in NYC and finding good chinesse food moving to South Florida and finding out that Chinese food sucks for most part. I gave it a try to this place thanks to the 2 reviews posted here. I ordered 3 lunch specials, for the money they serve you a lot of food, and to my surprise the FOOD WAS DECENT. The best chicken and broccoli I had in a very long time I have to say. The delivery was pretty fast, and I AM HAPPY!

I have to agree with other reviewers, the food is great and does not sit heavily on the stomach after eating it. I had lost the taste for honey chicken from other Chinese restaurant but King Chefs are great and is now one of my favorite item. As, far as the delivery service is concerned, it is "wow" fast. So that even my son was amazed when he first ordered from King Chef. Excellent!

If there was a 0 star or less that would be how I would rate it. Food is old and terrible with too much sodium. Egg rolls taste like chemicals and dim sum more like cheap spam. I dont know who is writing these good reviews (relatives perhaps) but they should not even be in business. I asked to to come back and pick up their food if they want, Im not paying...

The drivers have no sense of direction and they tried to give me false information to avoid delivery and tell me im 30miles away theyre the most ignorant people in the service industry that I know I finally hung up after getting talked down to. The foods not sooo good that im going to deal with these minimum wage making asshats

I have been ordering food from this restaurant for 10yrs. The food and service are awesome. I come from a place where there is a lot of good asian food, the 2nd largest China town in the US. I say with out a doubt thid is some of the best I have had and the best in Miami area. House Special fried rice is spectacular..

King chef has new owners. .. Big MISTAKE! ! Food was horrible today! Waited over an hr for food to arrive. Honey garlic chicken NOT crunchy and no sauce on it. Everything cold. Hot wings were definitely NOT spicy! Used to be my fav. On top of everything they overcharged me by nearly $20. Dont waste your time or $$.

The worst. Please dont waste your money . Why would they give the people that ask for delivery service fried chicken that was from the previous day ? Never fresh fried chicken, also the special fried rice are not cook properly . never again. This place only care about making money and careless about the consumer .

This is the best chinese food around town. The food is always fresh, delicious and really worth your money. They pack the fried rice with alot of vegetables and meat, the lo mein is awesome. they are the closest to homemade chinise with the authentic chinese taste. Very responsible, friendly and delicious !!

Kings Chef is run by a family (both parents and their two young daughters.) They are the sweetest people around and their food is GREAT. Their place is attractive at all if you want to eat in the restaurant. However for take out they are the BEST and trust me I have tried every chinese place nearby.

Grew up in Bklyn, NY eating Chinese food once a week with the family. Turns out the owners of Kings Chef moved to Miami (also from Bklyn) one year before me... and thank God! Now, Ive been a Kings Chef customer for 10 years. Good people and good food. Vegetarian safe.

Great fresh food for cheap prices. They will make anything to your liking. This is not a sit down restaurant. If you are looking for a dining experience this isnt the place. The family who runs it is lovely. Best Chinese take out/delivery in the county.

Unbelievable amount of food for the price. I tried the cashew shrimp. It was tasty and the portion was at least 2 meals for any sane person. Perfect spot if youre craving Chinese and are on a budget. And the service was super friendly.
