I was starving and visited the drive through today.First off , the woman taking my order was very pleasant, my food was ready faster than McDonalds has ever been. I mean, I couldnt believe how fast it was. The whole process of giving them money and getting my food was about 20 seconds. I got the 8 pc wings with two sides, waffle fries and Caesar salad. I thought the wings looked small, BUT THE WERE SOOOO TENDER AND FILLING ! :D the waffle fries had a good seasoning,a great temperature and a fine crispness. The salad was what I expected, just a Caesar salad. They have many delicious sauces to choose from, I got the rum pineapple the bbq and the garlic mustard. All tasted great with my wings and fries. The price: I often feel like other fast food places drastically over charge. When I leave Wendys and just payed $9.00 for a meal, I feel like I have been duped. ; When I leave Pollo Tropical and pay $9.00 , I feel like I made a good purchase.I was entirely satisfied with this experience

Not happy wit my recent visit. First they forgot my shredded chz which I paid for extra. The guacamole they handed me was brown and rottened. I looked at it and said why it look so funky. The lady smiled/laughed said it was "fine". No I kno what fresh guacamole looks like smells like and taste like. That my dear was NOT fresh. It was proven wen she handed two new contanier. Green not a hint of brownness. They also forgot my dads Materva but they sure did kno how to correct my pronunciation on how to say Materva... Which is petty asf! I dnt correct ur lango in crill... Anywho. Also soda fountain cartridge w.e its called needs to be changed. Soda is always flat. Only thing I can drink without a bitter after taste is the vitamin water... Smh needs better management & employees that put more of an effort without judging their customers and making em feel their in the wrong to ask for what they paid for... End rant! Mega disappointed.

SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW FOOD WAS COLD. I ALSO HAD THE SOUP AND IT WAS LUKEWARM WITH LOTS OF SMALL PIECES OF POTATO AND YUCA AND ONE TINY TINY TINY PIECE OF It was at 7 pm. So maybe they gave me what was left in the pot for the end of the day The worst part of my visit was there was some kestchup tjat someone spilled on the floor. After 15 minutes some one came out from the grill line,and wiped it up with napkins, she had no gloves on, was talking on her phone all the while she eas wiping the mess up, then with the same paper towel she wiped off the condiment bar. I confronted her, she said she was the manager...... and tried to tell me she didnt use the same paper towel that she wiped the floor with. Needless to say, she didnt wash her hands after either. I am. Calling their corporate office on that one and maybe even the board of health

They deserve no star. But had to give them one so I could post. This restaurant is terrible. It was filthy. Homeless people were using the dining room as their living room. Its not their fault. Why not. The staff had no problem with it they were to busy goofing around, giggling and ignoring the customers. The woman at the cash register communicated poorly. She walked away from the cash register and was walking around. I had to wait for her to come back so I could sign the receipt. We ended up leaving and throwing our food away and going to the Pollo Tropical in Coral Springs. We threw our food away because we were made to feel uncomfortable by the way we were treated and the attitude of the employees. Management is lacking. Who ever owns this restaurant is wasting their money.

People asking for money inside the store. They dont even know how to pronounce the item on the menu. They dont ask for the drinks... Something the customer forget I work for customer service. At least thats something basic to ask. The ridiculously start here: Ask for guacamole -they dont have 5 minutes later: I have one. - it was mold already build up inside the guacamole cup that looked almost brown They called me by "guacamole" in the counter (they dont even come to the table). -it was hard as a rock, frozen. You can even feels like its hard and cold, thats a joke and unrespectful . Then when they actually come to the table, again, frozen. Dont ask them for anything, my last time here. I will not be surprise if they spit on my food.

Im a current Pollo Tropical employee so I know how it works and how around a certain time of the night we run out of chicken FINE , I go in at 11:15 pm ordered a 1/4 trio , she told me they were out of chicken, told her to replace it (which she did no problem) I got my food 10 mins later , I left the store and came back not even 10 minutes later.. THERE was chicken !!!!! Like I said I know how it works so Im looking at the chicken and I know thats not gonna be done until 12:20-12:30 am, BUT HONESTLY HOW MESSED UP IS THAT YOU ( the employee ) get to take chicken home, but the customer thats paying full price cant get some.

I was at the restaurant on Saturday night at approximately 830. I waited in line being the next person to order for approximately 10 minutes but no one took my order so I walked out. Looking at the board of pending orders it looked like patrons who had ordered were waiting between 10-15 minutes for their order. I realize that you were busy but if you dont have the staff for it then everyone leaves disappointed.

I got food poisoning from the shrimp and nobody would return my calls. Also had an issue with a coworker being refused service when she went in asking them to correct her order (she was in her work uniform with a police badge). I literally had to leave work and go in there for her and speak with a manager to get her order corrected. The manager was apologetic, but the employees were not at all. Never again.

THERE WAS A BUG IN MY CEASAR SALAD LITERALLY......IF I WASENT SO DISGUSTED AT THE TIME AND ACTUALLY TOOK 2 seconds to think I wouldve took a pic but I was so tired from work I jus threw it away.... but I feel like the public should be aware plz everybody look at your food before eatin from this place...I literally am baffled that this place passes inspection....

These its one of my favorites places to eat . But the Atlantic ave location is terrible. Food its not ready, customer service is very poor. I ordered I tropichop and boneless chicken,, the lady put black Ckn in my plate without even caring it was black. The tropichop took 34 min. Need to hire more personnel or change the management team. Really bad experience!

Like most chain restaurants, quality is pretty consistent from location to location. Pollo Tropical is no exception. If youre lucky, youll have some freshly cooked chicken. More often than not, itll be a bit dry, regardless of the dish you choose. Its nothing special, and its not awful. This location gets an OK from me.
