My wife and I are becoming regulars at the new Waffle House in New Port Richey, FL. We go in for breakfast on Monday mornings. I always drop two dollars in the jukebox, and the staff really seems to appreciate it. Being a former Denny’s manager, my wife knows plenty about restaurant management, and we appreciate the cleverness of the Waffle House system. Better still, we both recognize that the food is always exactly the way we like it. Real grits and eggs not overcooked or undercooked. We know that getting it right every time is not easy, but at Waffle House, they get it right every time. The staff is as friendly as it gets, and the consistently perfect service is impressive. We usually have either Stacy or Aaron as our server, and they’ve both memorized our breakfast choices. Awesome servers. On the occasion when we get a different server, the service is still really good. Being former restaurant people ourselves, we like the comradery and teamwork we see in this restaurant. A special shout out to Brian, the manager on duty during most of our visits. He keeps the place running without acting like a bully, which is a common problem in management everywhere. Overall, my wife and I cannot recall one time when anybody in this Waffle House was negligent or rude, nor have we ever had food come to our table that was mangled or improperly prepared. Only on the very busiest of days will we see tables not cleared, cleaned and neatly arranged. The crew here is all we could hope, the food is done right, the facility is always clean, and of course, the prices are really low compared to any other restaurant. I’m giving them a five star rating only because there is no six star option. Compared to some of the other places we could dine, this is the best thing around. Got in got seated, Aaron came over to serve us and took the alder and left. 15 minutes later flagging down someone else, more mature and pleasant server got our coffee right away. Then order waffles and both came out when she got the coffee. Both were unDer cooked. Asked to replace them. 15 minutes later, we got new waffles both over cooked What the hell, we"very got to pick our battles. Left tip because a more senior server had to bale Aaron out. THANKS to the server who made things better! Long time customer since they opened. Regular. ! Will stick to senior staff from now on !!!!!!!!

My dinner was cooked perfect and the service was very good also our waitress was quick to give us menus for the other time of day the chicken sandwich which my daughter had and the hash browns with chili on top looked very good my dinner bowl was also very good and the eggs I put on top were cook perfect overall it was a nice experience also the place was very clean we were greeted upon entering the store

My wife and I stopped in today and really enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly, and made sure they checked in with us regularly (and it was a full house). What made it great for me is that this was the first time in over 10 years that Ive eaten at one. Last time I was still enlisted in the Marines up in NC. Just as good then, as it was today.

Breakfast anytime, I didnt know how pack it was at 4am on weekends. There were not tables available, but we dont mind waiting a little bit. Food always good and waffles with chocochips are amazing. Price isnt bad, and the service is good.

Food is pretty much standard for waffle house, service can be a little slow. You can watch the waitresses just standing around about half the time and not waiting on customers. If not for Mr. Smiley you would not get service sometimes.

The Chef, Diontei, was very pleasant and asked if our food was ok. The food was awesome. It hit the spot. The waitress, Jo, was very pleasant and Johnny on the spot. All in all a very good dining experience. Store # 2058.

Not usually a Waffle House kind of guy, but this place is awesome and I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Great portions and extreme care taken in preparation of the food. Wow! Do your mouth a favor and get it on!

The service is unreliable. Sometimes you get someone great other times. It is the same with the food. Sometimes its delicious sometimes it makes you sick. The waffles are always great though.
