That was the worst meal ever! I had a simple order, country ham, hash browns, scattered covered an smothered, cheesey grits, the waitress brought a piece of ham an put it on the table about ten minutes later she brought a plate with hash browns that had a piece of cheese thrown on the top, I told her that they were suppose to be scattered smothered an covered" So she brought me a bowl of cooked onions for me to make my own, by this time the ham was cold, an then she decided to give me my grits with out the cheese, I ask for a warm piece of ham because it was refrigerator cold, by now! She was nice enough to tell me, that she would take that one off of my bill! I would think so since I didnt eat it" an by now, it had been there for twenty minutes! I didnt even bother with the grits! Ill NEVER WASTE MY TIME OR MONEY GOING THERE EVER AGAIN! THATS FOR SURE! WHEN I PAID MY BILL, I TOLD HER THAT IT WAS HORRIBLE! SHE AGREED, AN THEN TOLD ME, THAT HE WAS A NEW COOK AN NEEDED MORE TRAINING! LMAO YOU THINK! SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT HIM HOW TO READ FIRST! THEN COOK TOO!

Went to waffle house for some dinner later at night(around 12/12:30am). Walked in and was never greeted and even sat at the bar stools and still nothing said to the two of us even with a waitress standing in front of us. 2 waitresses and a cook were the only ones there. The poor cook was so overwhelmed by the 2 waitresses barking to him about getting orders out, that it was complete chaos for the cook.There was no ticket system in place to ensure that the customers would get their food correctly and in an orderly fashion. By then many people had walked out and were even angered that they didnt have their food and asked for a manager. There apparently is no manager on duty on the 2nd and 3rd shift staff. I think this is absolutely the wrong way waffle house should handle things. I work in the catering business and there is ALWAYS some kind of manager or supervisor that should be present in case things dont work smoothly. I suggest never going here if its not the morning time bc otherwise, the chaos is overwhelming.

If there was an option to rate under one star, I would definitely pick that option!! Went out for a family breakfast, tables werent so clean. But then we ordered our drinks and food. Drinks came fine but then when we received all of our dishes of food I noticed that my girlfriends sister had a plate of grits, she was sturring it around and I noticed a hair in her grits. I told her about it and she searched for the hair and instead of finding the one I pointed out, there seemed to be more than one in there. So she told them and they gave her a new plate of food. Then my girlfriends mom was eating her over medium eggs and she ate some egg shells that were put into the eggs. This service was just so horrible and disgusting. They also promised to take those plates off the bill but never did. I just felt like sharing my experience so if anyone see this, they know not to come to this gross and unprofessional place.

I have avoided this location close to my house for a year now. Every time I pull in and see the "Thug Life" wanna be employees, we pull right back out. This morning we tried it again and we were pleasantly supprised. It was clean, the food good, it was ready super quick and the service was top notch. People like our server, Wendi, is what made Waffle House great once upon a time and kept people coming back.

Congratulations, Starkey Road Waffle House, youve managed to change my mind about this restaurant chain. I had an awful experience at a Waffle House as a child, but my parents convinced me to try this one, and I have to say, I am impressed. Friendly staff, prompt service, cheap food, all good. And cheesy hashbrowns are something I needed to know about sooner in my life. 5/5, would Waffle again.

This just opened and I added this place on here! Nice. This was great. The staff was great, good was fast and good. I wonder why they do not have seats by the front door though. Its just a big open space of nothing. They could fit anther 3 or 4 tables there.

This was one of the worst experience that i have ever had. There was human hair in my eggs, my hash browns were nasty and not done, my steak was over cooked. Just not the way it used to be. I dont think ill go back to this one ever again.

Food was good, our waitress was good but the way Alicia treated Ozzie was absolutely ridiculous. Ordering him around and to MOVE out of her way, truly bully behavior. Ozzie was very kind to us and customers.

Service was okay, food was awful. Ordered a Texas sized patty melt for about $4.80. Got about 2oz of meat on white Texas toast, no grilled onions, and a half ounce piece of processed sliced yellow cheese

Too noisy, when we go out to eat we dont want to hear the girl (waitress) yelling orders and other things to the cook. Prefer to go nextdoor to Fortunato Italian Pizzeria. Quiet friendly staff.

We actually like eating here. The food is definitely diner food, but fresh and cooked to order. The staff is friendly and excellent with their service. Would definitely recommend.

Average Waffle House. Only drawback is when you order a double order of hash browns you only get one piece of cheese. Otherwise great place to pop in for a quick bite.
