September 1, 2011 I had lunch with my daughter-in-law on this day. This restaurant needs to be inspected. All of the decor cannot replace the very bad food. We ordered the soup, which was not bad, but the club sandwich left something to be desired and we were positive that the potato salad was bad. I am confident that the mayonaise used to prepare it had spoiled. When I mentioned it to the person taking care of us, that person also felt that the salad was spoiled but the kitchen told that person that it was OK to serve. I do not want to identify the person. I do not want them to get in trouble, yet the restaurant should be thankful that they were being looked out for. The crab was fair but not what I expected. We took our uneated food home and trashed it. This is the fault of the cooks in this restaurant but ultimately, it is the owners fault for not being attentive to their restaurant. I am sorely disappointed and after discussing this with friends, they told me that they have had bad experiences and that they will never go back either. I wish so much that this would never have happened. I know I will never go back. $41.52 later, I think I was ripped off. The wait staff cannot be criticized. All of these problems came from the kitchen and apparently an owner who is not paying attention.

Totally regret coming here. Nasty nasty food. Complained to the waitress about gray specs in water, got an surprisingly rude reply and she took the water away from the table walking away while I was still talking to her. Cook totally doesnt understand what well done means. Or that I was severely allergic to onions. I guess it doesnt matter of I croaked right there on the spot, huh ? And the table felt slimy and sticky. Complained to the waitress and again, she wasnt having it and suggested we moved to another table if we went happy. Ummm no. Saw two roaches crawling on the corner of the bar. I wanted to cry how grossed out. I took one bite of the food and told them no way, this is by far the worst "historical" dining experience Miami has to offer. If it wasnt for my good ways , I wouldve walked out there, my payment in my pocket. And the tip would be too shut down business. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE THIS CESS POOL OF DISEASE AND BACTERIA !

Although the day we went (Mothers day), we waited over 2 hours + to be seated. In addition, another hour and a half for the food to come out. Poor management in the kitchen and under staff which cause delays everywhere. I guess they were not expecting so much people. The breakfast was great. The French toast, House fries and breakfast burrito were exceptional! However, the grilled chicken breast from the chicken sandwich was very dull and no seasoning at all. I think the McChicken has more flavor. I do not recommended that plate. I would definitely give them a shot again only for breakfast.

Have been going to the tea room for years. The women in my family have created a "tradition". Any of our birthdays is lunch at the Tea Room for "the girls". I live in Broward County, my sister lives in Georgia and she is down visiting. Well, today is her birthday and we are all going to the Tea Room for lunch. Love the atmosphere, food, and especially the spiced tea. This is definitely a womans restaurant, love it! I hope theyll be around for a long time.

So glad I found this place. They have an outstanding Instagram presence so that is how I even came across them. Their ice cream is as good as it looks and based on the fact that there is always a line out the door at this place - the hype must be as real as it feels. I am definitely going to stop by this place any time i have 15 minutes to spare and that I am within a three mile radius of this place.

Cauley Square Tea Room has always been a wonderfully delightful experience for me and my family. Their friendly and warm waitresses make you feel as if youre visiting a relative instead of dining in someones business. The food has always been well presented and delicious. This restaurant delivers charm and nostalgic warmth in every possible way and I highly recommend it!

This place is amazing. Everything is cute, the food is incredible, and the service was great. We almost took one of the wait staff home with us. Everything we had was super fresh and they didnt hold back on the portions, with lots of proscuitto, lots of brie, lots of hollandaise sauce, lots of fries, so good. And the coffee cake, omg.
