I was very disappointed by the food. We used to order from them years ago, and then yesterday we ordered for the first time in quite a while. To start off, we ordered sweet and sour chicken. The pieces were all over cooked, chewy and difficult to eat. on top of that they put it in the plastic containers so breading was completely saturated from sweating and made it even chewier. The bbq boneless spareribs were ordered as well. one with sauce, one plain. What they neglect to tell you about them is whether you order them plain or not, they are marinating in several seasonings including pepper. Not good for someone who cant eat pepper. the egg rolls came all squished. What i will say was when i called to complain about the pork they were very easy to deal with and apologetic and refunded that to me immediately. i love the fact that the food comes in the plastic containers for the very reason i love to use them when i pack away food at home. i was very much looking forward to having their food but i was completely and utterly disappointed. Especially in the chicken. soggy, hard, overcooked and tiny tiny pieces instead of nice pieces of meat. BUT again the staff was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

This place was horrible!!!!!!!! When I called I first asked if they deliver to Parkland. They said yes. I ordered my food, they said 45 minutes. I called at an hour and 40 minutes asking where my food was. They said my "house does not exist" and that the driver had brought back the food to the store. If I had not called back I probably would have never found this out after waiting for my food for so long!!! After complaining the driver gave a second "attempt" after 10 minutes I get a call saying they do not deliver to parkland. So after almost 2 HOURS I did not receive my food rather than calling me immediately when they couldnt "find the house" like all other delivery drivers do!!!!

We just moved to the area a month ago and two weeks ago I had ordered from a different Chinese Restaurant (ends in Wah) and was so disappointed that I decided to try China Star. Sure wish I had ordered from them first. The Crab Rangoon was the best I have had in years and the Shrimp with Broccoli was perfect. I have now entered them into my phone as the ONLY Chinese delivery or take out that I will be using in the future. Better prices and the delivery was much faster, the nice girl that took my order was very courteous as was the gentleman that delivered the food. Highly recommend.

For the money, this place will be hard to beat. The food was better than I was expecting from a take out place, and the portions are almost too big. The fried rice is a little different than I expected, smokey but still enjoyable to me. Ive tried a few things there, including one off-menu item, and I havent been disappointed yet. The place is take out and delivery only, and its a good idea to phone in your order during busy times.

As fan of lunch time chinese food, I must share my terrible experience the quality of the food is lacking. Lo mein has no beef in it, fried rice is just brown rice witih a few left over chunks of pork in it. these guys could do much better. sorry for the bad review, but seriously this was the first chinese food meal i couldnt even eat.

Food is terrible!!! Rice is dry(no moisture). Shrimp are not fresh at all. Sauces used taste watered down. Ordered 4 things and not one of them were close to even being mediocre. Still cannot locate a good chinese restaurant in the Coral Springs area... I highly suspect these short reviews are done by the owners.

We are also from New York and have been unable to get real delicious Chinese food down here in Coral springs. Actually in Broward and Palm Beach County! Until we found China star! egg rolls soups shrimp Mei fun general Taos chicken and anything else you can think of is just a joy to be eating.

I ordered the honey chicken. Very disappointed. 3/4 of the chicken was inedible due to being overcooked and dried out. The chicken that I was able to eat tasted like it was fried in old oil and there was barely any honey sauce on the chicken. The rice was ok but lacked flavor.

Extremely horrible food, shrimp in lobster sauce was horrible, seems like they just boiled it in water n put some corn starch...chicken wings has feathers all over its just ridiculous....never ordering again...total waste of money

One of the best Chinese take outs I ever had! When my family and I moved to Florida we couldnt find a decent Chinese take out! The food is amazing and well cooked!
