Worst place ever !!!!! Expensive food , bad sizes ,Chipotle is much better ; ugful place , the food have hairs , they told you that the meat haves alot of potato but inside the one small portion are like just for kids .

We got their steak fajitas and barbacoa tacos. The refried beans and rice were par, the steak however was over cooked, unseasoned, dry, and bland. So bland in fact, a small piece of lettuce would dominate the steak. When eating just the steak, the only way you could tell you were eating food was due to the texture. Styrofoam had superior texture and taste. The barbacoa was similar to a mexican pot roast; the barbacoa as well as the portion sizes were very good. The prices were reasonable. The service was sufficient, but slow for there being two waitresses. Our waitress served us begrudgingly and everything we asked her for she treated as a chore. We would not go back and the food is not worth the price, though there is good quantity.

We are originally from California, so we have had some awesome mexican food. Once we moved to South Florida were very disappointed in the various mexican restaurants we had tried. Tonight we decided to try this place because it is close to our home and it had some good reviews. We are so glad we tried it out! The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. It was prepared in a relatively short time and the guy that helped me was super friendly and polite. We will totally be going back to Rositas!

FANTASTIC VALUE! This is the closest to the really good Mexican food you find only in San Antonio Texas that you can get in Florida. It is in fact a very clean place but lacks in atmosphere which makes it authentically tex mex. We ride our Gold Wing from Ft Lauderdale frequently for our Huevo Ranchero fix. Our only reason to go to Homestead and always stop on our Keys trips. It is across the street from the Youth Hostel so you meet some intesting travelers as well. Find this place it is worth it!

The food took quite a while to wait on but it was beyond fantastic depending on what you order or desire. The servers were nice and they know Spanish so that is very helpful to people that dont speak English of course. The interior of the restraunt is very comforting and colorful and there are bathrooms . The price range is considerable and somewhat cheap but is worth it!!! I definetly reccomend this place for authentic Mexican cuisine !!!

Great Food! Went there for the first time today. Food was delicious! Our waitress, Guadalupe was very patient and funny, she also gave great service and spoke perfect English. The prices here are actually cheaper than Taco Bell but much, much tastier and authentic. You can get a full dinner plate for $8. The atmosphere isnt what you would go there for...but the food makes up for it. I recommend the Barbacoa...YUM!

My husband and I go to Rositas at least once a week. As we have done for years. Rositas is awesome mexican home cooking at really cheap prices. The beef chimichangas are to die for. Its cheaper for us to go eat supper there than it is to cook at home. And it tastes way better too. Their salsa rocks and the tostadas are awesome. We are regulars there. Dont know what id do without my weekly rositas fix.

Sadly I cannot recommend this place. The ambience is not inviting, not a single windows in the restaurant. Food lacks taste or Mexican oomph for that matter. Normally when you order a Queso Fundido (Melted Cheese) at any Mexican restaurant tortillas are included, at this place be prepare to buy your tortillas or youll eat your cheese with chips or bare hands.

Cétait correct mais ordinaire. Le restaurant est propre mais un peu sombre. Personnel accueillant. Bon rapport qualité prix avec des plats autour de 11$ hors taxes.

Horrible service.. the waitress was playing with the food in the back.. never seen someone come out with guacamole on her face! Waited 30 minutes for my food.. I had to leave.. why put up with this when theres a Mexican restaurant in every corner.. better and cheaper.. Los Aztecas are great down the block

An older establishment that has made some minor upgrades. Dishes are nicely portioned and rightfully priced. Lunch specials will fill you up with good Mexican cuisine without breaking your wallet. The Chimichanga is always a good bet served with your choice of red or green sauce. Coffee is meh.

Food is delicious! The only two things preventing 5 stars is that you sometimes need Spanish to communicate and that it would be great if one takes the enchiladas for example, that you get one filled with ground beef, one with cheese and one with chicken instead three times the same.

I have been here two times, each time eating something different. The place is small and pop type place with great food. The prices are low, and restaurant is simple. I would recommend it if you are around the area. The only problem is the drive, which to me is no problem. :)

Not too shabby. Only bummer was the guacamole I was served looked and tasted like those pre-elaborated versions from Publix. I shouldve asked. I guess this Trump presidency has had an impact on avocado imports from Mexico. Other than that, food was great. Service was Ok.

Stopped by for lunch, very relaxed and authentic atmosphere, not very busy. Food was prepared and presented as though my long lost abeula was trying to make up for lost time. I expected her to walk out of the kitchen patting cornmeal off her apron and asking for a kiss.

We were hoping for a great experience and delicious food. Unfortunately, this was not very good food or service. I ordered chicken fajitas, they were very bland. The chips and salsa was okay. Potatoes were used as filler in the ground beef that my girlfriend ordered

Awfulness service... they walked by us 3 times. I even asked the waitress if someone would take our order and she completely ignored us and took the order of the other table that arrived after us... never going again.

Prices are cheap, food is excellent, service is prompt. Dinner was so good my wife and I came back in the morning for breakfast and coffee, we will be returning to this restaurant every time we are in the area.

Thus place has a kind staff and great Hispanic foods. I recommend the breakfast and café con leche. They also have amazing prices, if you want a littel candy or gum they have some for to buy on the way out.

Food was great!!!! Service was a little slow, only one waitress and one cook. To me though the food was definitely worth the wait! I have no complaints! And will definitely eat there again.
