I AM AN AMERICAN WHO HAS TRAVELED TO MEXICO SINCE 1960 & IN 1980 BUILT A HOUSE HOUSE ON LAKE CHAPALA, I HAVE VISITED EVERY STATE IN MEXICO & SPEAK SPANISH "BASTANTE". I KNOW EVERY KIND OF DIFFERENCE REGIONALLY OF MEXICAN FOOD. THE ONLY THING I FOUND THAT WAS MEXICAN IN THIS ERSTAURANT WAS OUR BUSBOY. I WILL NOT GO INTO HOW TERRIBLE THE FOOD WAS, THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE STALL WAS FROM HONDURAS, GUATEMALA, NICARAGUA, AND ARGENTINA & DID NOT EVEN KNOW MUCH IF ANYTHING ABOUT THE "MEXICAN" FOOD THEY WERE SERVING. I WILL HOWEVER SAY THAT THE MOST FAMOUS MEXICAN SALSA PICO DE GALLO & IS THE ICONIC SALSA OF THE ENTIRE COUNTRY & MADE THE SAME THRUOUT IS TRADITIONALLY PREPARED WITH TOMATO, ONION, JALEPENO, CILANTRO, & LIME JUICE WAS NOT PREPARED THAT WAY & THEY HAD THE UNMITIGATED GALL TO CHARGE $3.50 FOR ABOUT 2 TABLESPOONS OF THEIR CONCOCKTION

One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the Miami area. We came here as a group of around eight people, so we had to wait for around half an hour before we were taken to our seats. The value of food offered here is amazing. For less than $15, you can order an incredible amount of delicious, authentic Mexican food. I ordered the "Combinación 1" and a horchata to drink. Everything I ordered was prepared quickly. This place really does offer tasty food. I am not giving it five stars because our server was a little discourteous and preoccupied with other matters. He confused some of our orders and also demonstrated an unfriendly attitude to some at our table. Apart from that mishap, itd be a shame if you were not to come here for some great-tasting, authentic Mexican food!

Food was ok however the service was not. I got my food first and if we did not ask my gf would have not gotten her food at all. They started making it when we asked for it. Never got asked if we were good with our drinks, I wanted another beer but the waitress just disappeared. Yes the place was busy, we went on a Sunday at 6:30 - 7 pm however there was like 6 or 7 servers plus bust boys, there was enough servers to take care of the amount of people. Parking is not bad for a place on "calle 8" unfortunately I will not be returning, the food was not good enough to put up with the mediocre service. I hate to go to places were the staff makes you feel as if you are bothering them...

The food here is really good and the prices are reasonable. One thing I like is that they have horchata. The service is pretty good, but the night I went they were really busy. My typical dish is the enchiladas verdes. They green salsa they use is just the right amount of spiciness. The only down side is that the restaurant doesnt seat very many people, so if you show up on a Sunday evening, you will most likely find yourself waiting about 20 minutes to be seated.

I never write reviews, but this place is worth it. The food is absolutely incredible. This is the best Mexican food Ive ever had, possibly the best food Ive ever had. Moreover, the service was absolutely perfect, and the ambience was authentic and warm. On top of it all, the pricing was really cheap - Id pay triple for that meal. If you have to have one dinner stop in Miami, make this one your stop.

This place is hit or miss. Today service was OK but missed the friendly greeting. First time for breakfast the Chilaquiles was amazing! Being from Texas its hard to find "real" Mexican food in Miami, everything has a Cuban twist. This is pretty close if youre not as picky as myself, I think youll like it. Weve had dinner here a few times tacos are good enchiladas not so much. Horchata was yummy.

Colorful, animated and spirited... exactly how a family style Mexican restaurant should be! If you are craving authentic Mexican food (which is hard to find in Miami) this is the place. Casual atmosphere enjoyed by families and young people on dates. For less than $10, I got a huge combination platter. The salsa is HOT!! But Horchata drink will cut the heat. Loved it.

Good Mexican Food, has the know how and the right ingredients. You might want to try the weekend specialties like barbacoa, so far it is the closets thing to barbacoa in Mexico. There is a "Panadería" (bakery) within the restaurant with a good selection of mexican pastries and other delights. While Rinconcito accepts credit cards, the bakery is cash only.

Hubby & I went here when another restaurant had no parking spots left. We both had the combination platters, 1&2 and a tamale to share. The portions were huge and very flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area like we were and craving some Mexican food. They do accept credit cards! Also, definitely try the flan! So good :)

Para ser Estados Unidos está bien el sabor, además el precio es bueno. El personal muy amable. Sólo sugeriría una remodelación; el local es un poco triste y viejo.
