I cant quite image the glowing reviews before me. I guess its possible that I ordered the wrong dish or that it was the main chefs day off. I probably wont bother to return to find out, as I didnt have a positive reaction to Beijing Café. The steamed dumplings have decent texture, but little flavor. The only discernable flavor was vaguely that of 5 spice, my least favorite spice. The dipping sauce, while not objectionable, didnt have a strong enough flavor either. Overall, bland, but not horrible. My chicken with cashew nuts was really sub par. The chicken was pretty poor quality, the cashew nuts were way past the "serve-by" date, and the sauce was, well, strange. The won ton soup was okay. The best part of the meal was the mass marketed fortune cookie. Price is pretty standard. Reasonable, especially for the Beach. Service was friendly, but a little inexperienced. There is a small, but clean, dining area, but this place is really for take out. Walk a half a block around the corner on 71st street and youll get a much better meal, with much better ambiance, for only a buck or two more (East Ocean Chinese).

I ordered delivery..my order was shrimp fried rice an egg foo young spring rolls crab ragoon...this was the worst fried rice i ever tasted the shrimp egg foo young pattys was done ok but the gravy taste like a crack of a dead hookers ass would taste like..how ever if you dont know how to make a dish please dont try..we as a consumer know what The food that we order taste...best part of this 45 dollar meal was the can of coke i order. P.s. restaurant owner stop being so thirsty.. Because it felt GRIMMEY

I love the food here. The Menu says New York Style and it really is. I just moved down to Miami Beach from NYC and I can assure you I know Chinese take out. Notice how I said take out. Now this might not compare to your moms authentic Chinese cuisine but its not meant to. I mean 7 dollar lunch specials and an american menu should paint a picture for you and thats delicious yet affordable Chinese food. This place already knows me by first and last name and its for a good reason.

LOVE Beijing Cafe for takeout. We have been ordering takeout for over a year here and love the service. They are polite, efficient, and we trust the food is always fresh. We havent been let down yet. Food is delicious! If you want quick delivery, hot and fresh take out Chinese this is your best bet in North Beach. Guaranteed :)

Not the best Chinese food but theirs are still good to eat. Would recommend Beijing Cafe any day. The food is delicious besides Wok Town Express, they cannot come close to Beijing Cafe whatsoever. Wok Town Express sucks and Beijing Cafe rocks! If you are ever visiting Miami like I did check out Beijing Cafe!

Small little place. The owners are really nice and friendly. They were having lunch there themselves and let my kiddos try their watermelon- how nice of them! We ordered 2 platters, with garlic shrimp and chicken. Both were delicious. Chicken fried rice was really good, too.

I ordered vegetable lo mein and chicken cashew yesterday. Well the food was not amazing. Then I spent the night throwing up and 24 hours later I am still not back on my feet. I love Asian food, but it s probably one of the worst experience Ive had so far.

Not as great as other places. I had ordered one fried dumping, one steamed dumpling, special fried rice, chicken wings, and a small white rice. It was mediocre not the greatest in my opinion. Everything was decent and the hot tea was very good.

Your typical bang for your buck Chinese place. Dont get the small noodle dishes if your looking for quantity snag the boneless spare rib combo youll get three meals for the price of one. Trust me.
