Firehouse gives discounts to military and first responders, but the boss says only to active duty. Retirees dont count. Was a regular customer here for quite some time and got discounts from other employees at this store. But when the owner is there, he explains Firehouse policy for discount is active duty only. Policy or not, its wrong and should be changed. Felt a touch of disrespect when a teen employee tells me, a 20 year Marine and 10 year cop, that my service is no longer recognized nor honored. There are many businesses and chains in this area that honor all military and first responder service, but apparently the bottom line in this store is "the bottom line" and good will be damned. My only question now is, seeing as how Firehouse was started by firefighters, are retired firefighters also told their service means nothing in this store?

Food is great but Ashley, the manager, is super rude and sarcastic, cant take stress well, and always has a bad face/attitude. There was a coupon on the firehouse website and she did not care to honor it while i was on my short lunch break from work and couldnt go back to print it at the office, all she cared to say with a nasty attitude and sarcastic smile was "oh well, maybe next time."Her employees do a better job at providing customer service than her.

Went to firehouse subs cause I knew they had tvs to watch the NBA final game 7. I was told the owner doesnt allow them to change the channel. Food was good but if customers cant watch what they want then why have tvs? Wont rely on them anymore.

I love the pastrami sub here with the datil pepper hot sauce. Cherry limeade is also a nice touch.
