This used to be my favorite chicken place until on Saturday Sept. 26th. I ordered a bucket of chicken and two sides.I drenched the first piece of chicken I ate with hot sauce and it tasted a little funny but I couldnt tell because of the hot sauce, so I tore a piece of the second and put it in my mouth and it tasted a little rank. I informed the counter help and she said shed have him put some fresh in the bucket. All they did was throw a few pieces of fresh chicken on top of the bad chicken. I only noticed because of eating a piece chicken from the so called new batch I came in contact with rank chicken again. I asked the girl at the counter and she confirmed it. The second time I was cheated like I was lying and that I wanted something for nothing when all I was a good meal that I paid for. On top of it some of us started feeling sick later on. And we never got our moneys worth.

Crust on chicken was alright, breast was moist , fish and shrimp looked & tasted like it was right out of a box, baked beans straight out of a can, & mashed potatoes looked instant. Fries were nothing spectacular, husband said fried gizzard were good, buffalo wings were good, & tarter sauce was out of a packet. Over priced for what you get. Booths were tiny so if your a XXL or bigger plan to stand while eating. Staff were not very friendly, not rude, just not very friendly, unprofessional lyrics talking about work stuff in front of us, & inexperienced. They only had 4 pieces of chicken without waiting 20 minutes because they didnt have enough cooked & we walked in as they were opening. Bathrooms are outside, didnt look at them. To top it off, they were "cash only", had to use their ATM. Popeyes is across the street & KFC next door.

11/11/2014 Tuesday 11:00am. Tried their 2 pc dark chicken meal. "Cash only." No checks of any kind, no credit or debit cards of any kind. Seating are booths. Rest room outside. Ask for key. Small plastic fork for flatware. Napkins, straws. Chicken was fast cooked but still stuck to the bone. Was marinated but didnt feel fully cooked. There is a drive through. Say they are open 11:00am to 9:00pm. Just my first impression. Have no idea when or if Ill go back there.

In 20 years, Ive been to many of theMaryland Fried Chicken locations throughout the Orlando area (some of which are no longer open) , but I had never been to the Leesburg location until this past weekend. I usually get the 10-piece buffalo wings, so I did the same this time. OMG, the wings at this location were the best Ive had, small but meaty - which is how I like them. They were hot, crispy, and were not over-seasoned or greasy. ABSOLUTELY YUMMY!!!

Every time I go here they are out of something. Out of certain sides, they were even out of chicken today. Its becoming repetitive. It seems as if you have to get there as soon as theyre opening or else its hit or miss. I drive about 30+minutes to get there and after tonight and Im done. Ill just eat at the one in Apopka when Im that way. Better customer service and they dont run out of food in the middle of the day!

I can say the food is good, but the employees are horrible. Im literally just leaving because I was told my order was to big for the end of the night. Really, im goin to spend to much money here? My order would have been around $80, and I was refused......Really ill never return. If you dont mind rudeness I highly recommend this establishment.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!! The customer service at this location is horrible. They should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves that they actually carry the Maryland Fried Chicken name. I have never been so appalled in my life. Stay away from this location. I have NOTHING good to say about this place.

The coleslaw was amazing but other than that, service was slow on A Saturday afternoon around 7pm. Chicken lacked flavor and the gizzard taste as if it was holding for quite a few hours and then refried at order. First time and will definitely be my last.

Love this place. The chicken is always hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. The sides leave a little bit to be desired, and the wings are kind of undersized, but those are my only complaints. I stop by whenever I get a chance.

I rate Maryland a 4 because sometime its a hit and miss, it depend on who cooking that day or night. I will continue to dine at Maryland just hope the good cook there the day or night I decide to dine there

.The prices are on the high side. They dont accommodate your orders and the servers are extremely rude. Go next door for your chicken its healthier and you get more for your buck.

Places sucks !! Chicken is on a diet. Depending on what you order on what frys you get... Very disappointed in the road dive.... Go to KFC next door. Better deal.....
