The experience started off bad when I called to see how long the wait would be before we arrived and the hostess said "2 to 2 and a half hours" I was shocked and considered not going to the restaurant at all. The other part of my party was close by and they went into the restaurant to see if we could sit outside. The restaurant was empty and there tons of tables available. When someone in my party asked the hostess why she had told me that the wait was 2 plus hours she said that "they say that to everyone that calls". The service was probably the worst service I have ever received. The waiter never asked us if we needed anything. He would just come if we had something come up. Drinks took 20-30 min to receive and we were there for 2 hours before we were even able to put in a food order. At first we didnt mind because we were in a group and talking but after a while we got annoyed and we actually had to get up and call the waiter over to us so we could order food, more drinks, etc. because he didnt even show an interest in coming to our table at all. Then when the food did finally come, they brought out 2 plates about 10 min before they brought out the rest. When I asked about the drinks we ordered, one of the busboys said "It would come out eventually". We actually ended up having to clear our own table because no one ever came to clear empty cups or plates. Then at the end of the meal when we got our checks, they had automatically added in the 18% tip. Now we realized why they were completely ignoring us, the tip was already a given! But I complained to the owner, who wasnt concerned at all about our unhappiness and didnt offer any apology at all. She said they would take the automatic tip off but she was annoyed and told me to wait for my server to come back to the table. That took another 10-15 min because the owner could care less about the service or the way her customers are treated. The food was fine, nothing special. Dont waste your time going to this restaurant as youll likely have to wait half an hour before even getting a drink.

I recently went to this restaurant with my girlfriend from school and of course the service was awful. First of all, we waited for 30 minutes and they were serving people that came after us and one the servers was talking to my server and telling her that, those two girls have been waiting and of course I looked her the face while they were talking. She came to our table and hardly apologized and of course the food was nasty and now it has been 5 days since I had food poisoning, I will never visit this restaurant again and this is not the first time, this has happen (bad service). You guys need new management!!

Marion and her crew are an absolute delight! I have visited 40+ foreign countries and tasted all sorts of food in my life. Going into CopaCabana feels like walking into a home away from home. The upbeat ambience, professional courtesy of staff, and delicious food make it my familys choice to dine out. We visit Copa at least on a monthly basis, and its always busy. Copacabana is a role model to other Palm Beach County restaurants on how to operate an amazing restaurant that delivers not just wonderful food, but a superior customer service experience as well.

We went around 3. Way off peak hours. Our service was prompt and courteous. Happy hour starts at noon- 2 for 1 drinks til 7. So "one" mojito was plenty for both of us. Lots of lunch items served til 4. We had the Churrasco (marinated skirt steak) cooked medium rare with tostones and cassava for $11.95. We also ordered a cuban sandwich for $5.99. We added a side of arroz moro for $2.99. The prices are quite reasonable. Everything was tasty. We couldnt finish it all which is rare for me. Definitely recommending based on our experience.

The ambiance is a typical Cuban bar. The food was outstanding, the Cuban sandwich was the best Ive had, the sweet plantains were perfect, and the white bean soup was on point. However, the service was super slow, took 50 minutes to get the food and our server only stopped by twice. To take our order and drop the check. I could understand this if the restaurant was packed, but on a Monday night, this was not the case. I would come back for the Cuban sandwich, just make sure you can wait for the food.

First of all, the service was really bad, very slow. In the ladies room there was the bucket to clean the floors. Not very classy. The food was okay at best. I was born in Cuba, raised in a Cuban household, and cook Cuban food. The pork chunks were dry. The yuca was mushy. I think it had been cooked earlier in the day and it sat with the mojo on top. Lastly, the place was over priced for what they gave you. If you live in Jupiter, go to Pollo Tropical you will get a better and fresher meal.

Went at 1030pm on a sat night. Kitchen was closing but they were kind enough to still allow us to get dinner. Chicken fajitas cubano was good but a bit salty. Chicken breast planch was very good. You had a choice of 2 sides with the meals -- plantains were good but yucca was kinda bland. They had a band playing and people dancing when we got there, which made for a great atmosphere but a bit loud for anyone on a date. All in all, food was fast and service was good too.

I made a reservation for 7:30 for 2 to sit at a high top table. Table wasnt ready, and when it became ready, we were asked to sit at a small table. Then waited 10 mins and no server until I had to ask for one. The waiter never came to check on us or let us know the food was on its way, NOTHING! The food is great, but the service sucks! Im half Cuban and love my roots along with Cuban food. Unfortunately, I will never eat there again because of the service.

I was going to score this place a 3 until I had the Flan. It came simple, delicate and delicious. The rest of the food, the Cuban and plantain chips, were merely average. The setting was made of cheap plastic cups and dipping sauces were served in small plastic containers. This portable feel was noticeable everywhere. My server was good and diligent. I was never left waiting. Overall the experience was positive but not a top Cuban place in Florida.

I go to eat in this restaurant almost more than two times a week. I always take beans, rice, and meat, like vacca fritta, or Churrasco for example, it tastes amazing. I am Italian and own an italian restaurant, I love to eat all kind of meals from different cultures, and this restaurant is my reference as Cuban restaurant. Need to try. For lunch the prize/quality are really worth it.
