I use to work at a Tropical Smoothie in Downtown Orlando and I gave pride in the food and smoothies that I would send out. If I would not eat it, I would not use it. For example, I went there today to get my favorite, the chicken pesto flatbread. I watched the girl that made my food very well. She used the slimy chicken at the bottom of the well, then SMOTHERED it with cheese, Im saying more cheese than chicken. She toasted it with the tomato already on it, which may be how corporate says to make it, but the results are horrible. The tomato alone can ruin the flatbread. When it cooks, the juices soak up into the flatbread making it super soggy. Ultimately I ended up with a slime sandwich for lunch. For how expensive their food can be, I expect it to be made with the same respect that I would put into it myself. Remember, this is not suppose to be McDonalds. The TSC I worked at gave pride in customer satisfaction and strived to make awesome food that kept people coming back 5 days a week. There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else. I would be happy to come by and train your employees how to properly prepare food oh, and maybe smile!

Where to begin...I wish there was a category below poor experience/service. I have been a loyal customer for years. I went and ordered my usual smoothie of choice. It was made wrong and charged to my card incorrectly. I asked for a new smoothie which they did. However, I asked for a refund for the difference which they refused to give me. Te owners did not recognize me, even though have frequented it for over 5 years. The owner told me they would not refund me as they have to cover there cost of fruit and that I am "an impossible to please crazy person off the street." I called later for corporate information in which the owner got on the phone to harass me more at which point I hung up.

The woman that is the owner is super nice, however her husband is rude & simple-minded. Your lack of emotional control just lost you a repeat customer. You shouldnt be so quick to turn away customers based on your emotions, your bad day that you took out on a random customer may have a far greater impact than you could imagine. According to the reviews Im not the only one that has felt his wrath...stay far from away from this establishment! I guess I owe you a thanks for helping me save $ by forcing me to start making my morning smoothies at home now. Update 7/3/14: My bullet blender I bought works great!

I just started going to tropical smoothie in the past year. Ive never been a smoothie fan, but the ones here are delicious. Im surprised to see bad reviews of the one on West Bay because the smoothies are great! The employees are usually friendly and they make the smoothies pretty fast. Personal Favorite is the Tropical Green, but my friend who goes with me swears by the Triple Berry Oat. The flat breads are good too, and the fish tacos are great, if a little spicy for me. Highly recommended!

This location in Largo is good. Not as good as the one just east of it though. The staff here are very attentive and the smoothies do come out in a timely manner. They just updated the seating area and its much nicer than before. The only downside for a 4 instead of 5 star review is they do not have the scanner for the phone app when you purchase the smoothies like the other locations have.

Horrible service. I walked in and both employees were busy, which is fine. However both of them looked up but didnt verbally acknowledge me or smile or anything and conrinued what they were doing. Then the girl comes over several minutes later and has the widest tone! Like you could hear the "ugh" in her voice. I wont be coming back!

The employees are rude they always mess up orders they get abusive if asked to fix it and will not give refunds.. i used to love to get the strawberry beach smoothie but i will not step foot in there again... what has happened to the customer is always right??????

Always quick service. However, the smoothies do have added sugar (they call it turbinado), so if you want just the fruity (and healthier) goodness ask them to leave out the turbinado.

The Thai chicken wrap is so amazing!!! The staff were friendly and they kept the lunch rush line moving fast. My only complaint was the parking is not great.
