This is my second visit. The food is excellent with serving sizes appropriate to the prices. Staff is friendly and attentive but not invasive. The restaurant style is modern but casual. Theres not a ton of seating. The patio makes a nice choice if traffic is slow. They partner with a lot of local businesses for specialty and regular menu items like the Sweet Petes Caramel pancakes I had which were deliciously decadent.

January 17, 2017 was my first time visiting Uptown, and I must say they did not let me down. They came highly recommended as I was in the area for business. I will return and I will bring folks with me. Usually good food and service but last visit 24 February 2017 the breakfast the omelette was grossly over cooked and the potatoes were dark brown but the thing that got me was the server did not see a problem with the food. Looking at the other plates I was the only one who food came out like this. It doesnt take much for me to scratch a place off the list since I am paying for good service

Food is incredible! The burgers are truly Beyond and the hand-cut fries are scrumptious. Everything we have had here has been wonderful and I am always excited to return and try something new. We enjoy the live music and always sit at the bar where we can get food and drinks and good conversation with the bartender. The wait staff is always very polite and helpful and bathrooms are clean.

An incredible find. The mac n cheese was completely outstandingly awesome. We also had roasted corn, it should be a crime against nature for a veggie to taste that good. Had cuban, which was also fantastic. Staff was very friendly and chatty, it was a very pleasant experience and really was the high point of my day. Parking was easy, so was settling on my lunch.

Christen was our server and he was FANTASTIC. we are looking to move into the city and he gave us tips and tricks, the best place and the down low on so much GREAT information. On top of that for dinner he recommended the pork chop and the trout dish- both were exceptional. Nice atmosphere, great wine, wonderful service, and amazing food. Happy Canadian review:)

The kids love going here for breakfast. Staff is usually pretty friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Not sure what they clean the floors with in the dining area, but they are always a bit slippery. As a coffee lover, they could use some better tasting coffee. The food quality has been getting better but the wait time to get your food is hit or miss.

It was "okay" at best. When we first sat down, we asked for silverware and the waiter told us that "this wasnt his first rodeo" and that he would get the silverware for us. Great- thanks for the silverware, and you can keep your attitude to yourself. My friends order of eggs were WAY overcooked and it was sent back for a second try.

Went for brunch and the options were all very interesting but they still had a tradition egg option. Everything was really good, I had the salmon bagel and I wish I would have gotten a little more salmon for my bagel but other wise pretty good. Brunch drinks seemed a little overpriced. I would love to go back to eat dinner.

This used to be one of our favorite places for breakfast. Unfortunately that has changed. I ordered my usual steak and eggs, which in the past has been delicious and also included a steak. Today, i got eggs and 4 small steak bites. We probably wont be back unless it becomes there only restaurant open in Jacksonville.

I had the worst customer service ever, I was here on Friday and server was a littlw more attentive to the customrr this guy never came back to see if we needed anytning. I also visiably seen employees picking lemons/limes up with their hands and no gloves.....this was totally unacceptable

Oh my!!! The breakfast we had was delish. I had the traditional eggs, grits, toast and their to die for chicken sausage. Family had their pancakes, omelettes and it was all cooked to perfection. Our servers are always pleasant and attentive too. It is a little$$ but what a great meal.

Nice lil diner with a bar, and freshly made baked goods. Decent amount of seating available too. I had the chorizo omelette and it was quite tasty. The sliced avocado inside tastes like egg yolk and is great when warm. Server was friendly. Would definitely recommend

Saturday afternoon lunch date with my daughter and food was great. Delicious creamy mac-n-cheese, Cuban sandwich, homemade coleslaw. Friendly service. Not crowded around 2 pm . I had only been here on weekdays at lunch when its crazy busy. Now I know when to come!

I love the concept of a great breakfast spot. I love this spot , I only wish it was more conducive to early morning diners. 6am or 6:30 seems more of a time for the AM . None the less I enjoy the food. Service at 7 am is really not that great.

Always excellent service. Impressive booze selection. Only 3 places in town Ill eat grits, this is one. Also, why the heck doesnt everybody keep chorizo in their kitchen? Never a bad meal. If it was a dog, 10/10 would pet.

Staff was friendly, food was good, clean. overall a great experience. When I went to pay they were concerned that my steak wasnt done properly and waived the bill. Big tip. food was fine, only way I could pay was by tip..

Went with my husband on Taco Tuesday, and they were amazing! Beef with cilantro, green salsa, onions, and pineapple. Absolutely delicious. The server was friendly and proficient. The drinks were strong for a great price.

This place should not be a secret to anyone. Its a great place to dine downtown. The lunch specials are truly that, special. I had pepper trout with garlic mashed potatoes one lunch a few months back. It was amazing.

Mixed. Came once and pork hash burrito was great. Another time, just ordered a breakfast plate which took 45 min to get. Cold coagulated eggs, one piece of cold bacon, burnt home fries (still cold), toast cold.

This nice cozy spot is located on Main Street, Downtown JAX. Restaurant has open floor plan. Table and Chairs good for family seating. Outside seating an option. Parking is limited. Food Fresh and Delish!
