I have been here in the past and they went through some changes since Ive last went. I cant speak to the buffet they offer as I never go to that portion of the restaurant. The dim sum was awful. Only one dish was decent. Were originally from NY and have been to many dim sum places in Flushing and Chinatown, so were very familiar with how dim sum is at these places. We we asked for some of the sauces, the waitress said they didnt have them and that normal Chinese people dont eat with it. Ive been to dim sum with many of my Chinese friends and they ALL do! What a load of crap. Also, when we got the bill, there was an 18% AUTOMATIC GRATUITY! The tax was $3, and the AG was $9 !? We complained and they said other dim sum places this is normal practice! Yeah RIGHT! We are never going back to that place EVER. Just sharing my experiences. Be warned!

I was excited to try this place, but was left a little disappointed afterwards. Everything that we had was decent, the service was good, but the dim sum selection is very slim. I had edamame, chicken feet, chicken with garlic sauce, sesame balls, some roast pork ball?, and fried rice. The chicken feet was interesting, but I would not recommend it. There was no meat on the feet. It was all bone and mostly fat. They had a gamy taste to it and did smell a little odd. I mainly down rated it due to the slim choice in dim sum selection when their supposed to be all about the dim sum. I had went to Hong Kong Cafe a few weeks before I came here and their exceptional dim sum spoiled me. So coming here was a let down compared to Hong Kong Cafe. This place is alright, but I wouldnt drive out of my way to go here.

The hibachi is spot on and delicious. Maybe its just an off night as we are here on Wednesday Night around 7:30pm and it seems really slow, but a lot of options look like theyve been sitting there for a while. Tried the sushi and the fried sushi is fine (ie: dynamite roll and tempura) but green peppers in a sushi roll? That and the sushi seems like its been sitting there for a little while which there is nobody behind the sushi making more. Again, slow night, off time, so Im sure this isnt an everyday thing here. The food that I did try from the buffet (the general tso, bourbon chicken, and bang chicken was good) and again, the hibachi was very good. A few things here and there and the rating could be higher, but based on what Ive gotten so far and tried its okay but could be better.

We went to this restaurant last week, I am not satisfied of there food, first off all most of there foods are dry, I would like to rate there "ADOBO" they dont know how to cook that menu my ADOBO is way better, than there ADOBO is too much water and no Taste, I cant even taste the garlic and vinegar all I can taste is the soy sauce it is so nasty, there noodles is ok but its too dry, the sushi is ok? But the fish is not fresh, and limited food too, and there price Im not satisfied for 3 persons we pay $56.00 thats a rip off, inside the restaurant is creepy and the lights are little dark you cant even see if there is fly or not in your food, thats my rating to this restaurant.

This place is doing malpractice by imposing 18% "Automatic Gratuity" to indivudual customers repeatedly. Also named The Dim S Room, they have little footnote on menu saying that any dim sum item carries 18% A.G., but they will add surcharge to the whole bill anyway (with other dishes and orders not dimsum) To make it worse, when protested, they got into argument with customers, making insulting comments, and mocking the customers for insisting paying a different amount of gratuity. So carefully read their footnotes when you order from menu, be prepared to tip them what they want, or have the heart to be mocked as "poor ones".

Terrible service, rude waiter, and overall bad food. My wife and I went with a Groupon and they "automatically" placed a 20% gratuity without telling us (with a party of 2). I always tip, but when an establishment feels the need to force it on a customer, its a sign of poor business. They only seemed interested in adding more food items to our bill, which were massively overpriced and sub-par at best. The dim sum is dry and lifeless in flavor when compared to the price. By the time we were finished, we were still hungry and paid more than a buffet price. I would not recommend this place to my enemies.

Never again - Arrived 6PM Thursday evening. Buffet - The food was not hot. General Chicken, Bourbon Chicken. Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Pork, Cabbage Mix, Crab Rangoon, Egg rolls. I ask the ladies at a table near me if their food was cold. They said yes. Crab Rangoons filling was hard & dried up. I told person at register right away, she replied I know its always too cold, too hot. I said so you know, she said yes, every day too cold. She brought a younger woman over who said "I dont believe the food is cold" what did you eat? All of the food tasted the same. I live Chinese and it was gross!

Ive been here many times with my family and we have enjoyed ourselves, but this time we were extremely disappointed. When we first got there there was not even tongs to pick up the food with, and when I got my food the taste was off and we started feeling kind of sick not long after eating a small portion. The fruit tasted like it had been frozen and thawed out, and the noodles were dry and tasteless. Not to mention the tip is now added onto the final check, which I find inconvenient, especially if in my opinion they didnt deserve a very good tip. We were very disappointed.

Used Groupon and ate both dim sum and from buffet. Let me tell you it was a total scam because owner charged me an automatic 18% gratuity on my buffet food. Food quality was reminiscent of frozen aisle food warmed up in the microwave. The owner and waiter gave me a check with three different written amounts. Basically they were trying to get 18% tip(x2), mind you this is a buffet where food handles sit in the food. Please avoid for your own safety

So my family and i decided to try a different buffet for dinner..boy that was a mistake..the food is not that great it taste as if they kept it from lunch and they dont have that much of variety..plus they automatically add 18% gratuity REALLY..i guess they know that no one would leave a tip..i want the owners to know im writing this review sitting in your restaurant..i will not come back and hope everyone reads this review and stay away.

Not sure what happened here. Food used to be pretty good. My most recent visit on January 27, 2016 was really bad. I sampled so many things on the lunch buffet in hopes of finding something I could enjoy eating. Not so lucky. Everything tasted like it was cooked in the same pot with no seasonings what so ever. I hope they get things turned around because they wont lure many followers on their current path.
