Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon around 3pm. The place was entirely empty, but I have to say the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My partner got the Sushi Deluxe patter, (18 pieces of Sashimi) plus the rainbow roll. I got the Hibachi Shrimp and a california roll. She said the Sushimi was some of the best shes had in a while. I have to say that as a true lover of Hibachi, and someone who tries it whenever I can, this was hands down the best Ive ever had. The soup was tasty, the salad traditional and good, but the Shrimp and Veggies were to die for. I told the server to give my compliments to the chef, but she didnt seem to care much. Too bad, I would have actually tried to shake that Chefs hand! Cant wait to go back again!

I used to dine here often and found the quality of the food to be exceptional. However, after the experience we had tonight, I will never come back. Our waitress made a mistake on our sushi order which is really not a big deal. She may have been new, seemed a little overwhelmed, but hey, serving is a tough job and she was really trying. To my horror, her boss proceeded to yell at her for making a mistake. Right there! Shaming her! I have never seen an employer publicly shame an employee this way. Made me want to throw up to see this girl treated so badly. This woman was just horrible. Not sure if she is owner or manager.

Exceptional service, great food, warm setting and ambiance. This is the perfect place to enjoy sushi or a delightful Japanese meal when you venture into downtown Jacksonvilles riverwalk. We were there for the July 4th firework traveling from Atlanta. Had a great time in Jax and Sake House contributed greatly to this experience. Great sushi at a reasonable price. Everything was fresh, creative dish presentation. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating (and pretty but thats a side note :)) Very yummy desert. We will definitely come back when were in town again.

Sushi is really good. This is a cute, clean restaurant near the river. I wasnt happy though with the server. She was okay, but not friendly, no smile, and we waited a really long time on the check and no refill on water but one time. It wasnt busy. She didnt check to see how our meal was. Hardly spoke, maybe language? Not sure. Other girls here were really nice it seems. Overall, its a great sushi spot to eat. I will come back, just hope we receive better service.

The size of the rolls is a joke. The price they r charging for the tiny amount of sashimi they put inside a roll is just insane . Rice is always old and wasabi is dry. Dont sit at the bar because u will never get service. Will not be coming back ever.

I now have two favorite sushi restaurants, unfortunately the other is much further away in ohio. Wonderful options, and great service. I recommend pairing a sushi roll with the green sashimi salad (with avocado, mango, and strawberries) :-d !

Went on a Sunday afternoon, was very pleased with out visit. Priced accordingly, the staff was very attentive but yet not intrusive. Was very clean and modern design inside. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others in the area.

Lucky to be able to find this gem in a great place! We wanted a fast supper but ended up sitting till it closed! Great Japanese food and great service! Sashimi was cut in great pieces! Greatly recommended for a relaxing and good supper!

We were very happy to find this place when visiting jacksonville. Food was great. Nice selection of sake. The staff was very friendly. We ate at the bar and our bartender had us smiling the whole time we were there.

I have been to "nearly" all the sushi restaurants around Jax and to the other Sake House locations as well. The San Marco location is by far the best, top sushi and hibachi in town.

Great hibachi! Nice and quiet, if you love hibachi food,but are over the loud preparation show at a traditional hibachi house, great option. Sushi looks very good as well.
