In my opinion I absolutely love this place, I have been going to wasabi since I moved to Jacksonville in 2007, we always get treated well by the staff and the owners, I love how much effort the owners put into the place and pray they stay, because this place makes EXCELLENT sushi, best I have ever had. TOP NOTCH Food quality- 9/10 I dont know about other food that is not sushi because I always Order sushi and clear miso soup Staff- 7/10 Staff could be more attentive, the owners are for Sure Attentive but the new staff needs a bit more training in my opinion Friendliness - 9/10 I dont believe we or myself have ever been treated poorly, we came in late one time with a few out of state family and we stayed past closing so Props to them for sure Speed of service- 8/10 Food comes out Very Very quickly, definitely DEFINITELY quick, and done very well as far as presentation Chefs- 10/10 I have never seen anyone do a better job on presentation for the food and just do THE BEST job ever Good job guys

Nice first impression Japanese restaurant The waitress seated me promptly brought me a menu and asked what i drinked as soon as I sat down. I I looked through the menu and I chose the big combo platter, which were 5 sushi rolls. The rolls were a tad small like buffet style sushi rolls & the price of $24 was somewhat worth it with five different types of rolls. Could of been just a little bit bigger rolls for that price. Overall experience was very pleasing. Really enjoyed the food, just a slight more wait time even though the restaurant was busy, she kept my glass full and I had my soup, which was very pleasing to the palate. The rice was perfectly cooked and the presentation was very nice for this restaurant. Will definitely return whenever I do my load turnarounds in J-ville

This place is amazing especially with their hibachi and their cuisine of food. Its stylish and the food melts in your mouth. The hibachi is definitely a try you must experience here because their chefs are extremely talented and funny. The food has so many options and the decorations in the restaurant are sleek and nice. I love how everything is cooked. Go around the after to before the evening of dinner because Wasabi is packed with customers during that time. I would really recommend reserving as well. The owners are super nice and my dad used to work there so its a lovely environment with nice people. Overall, the food can be a bit pricy but its way cheaper to eat hibachi at Wasabi than at Osaka so I definitely recommend checking out their food. It tastes heavenly

Man smh. They used to be better but recently the quality of food is awful. Nothing tastes fresh. As slow as they are youd think they were fishing for seafood in the back. But it tastes like they bought everything from the Walmart frozen food section. I was craving sushi other day and went to grab a simple shrimp tempura roll because I didnt dare order anything over $5 from there. It was rubbery and mostly tempura, very little shrimp. Thats like messing up a pepperoni pizza.

I placed an order over the phone for two sushi rolls, but the food was not prepared when I arrived. There were only 3 tables occupied so my food should have been ready, right? I paid for the food sat 15 minutes and while waiting two more customers entered placed sushi orders and got their food before me. The sushi was the worst plus pricey, bad experience. First impression is a lasting impression! Wish I could of had a good story to tell.

In town on business staying near the airport and wanted sushi. So glad I went here the staff was friendly and the rolls were excellent. I had a few simple hand rolls and then the Dragon roll, it was huge and even when I needed to cut the pieces in half just to eat them, they stayed together when I picked them up with chopsticks. Definitely worth the visit for good sushi at a good price

Food was good, sushi pieces were huge portions, rolls, good too, agedashi tofu was very good. Deducting a star because 90% of special rolls have mock krabmeat (thats their spelling) and more than not are fried with cream cheese. Coming from Atlanta this sushi is amazing and a bargain. Coming from New York it is just good.

I went to wasabi at 3:18 and ordered a lunch special which cost 15.25. I was told the wait was 10 minutes. I get 1 hour break for a 10 hour work day. I left at 3:48 without my food. 5 Caucasian people came in after me, had their orders taken and prepared and I still was waiting to get my food. I wish i were lying!

The first time we came here my husbands jaw dropped when we got the bill, he said;.... thats it????? Yeah he was very pleased.... We usually pay more whenever we go to a sushi restaurant.....weve been here 3 times so far its our favorite restaurant.....our experience all together..... SUPERB!!!!!!!

Good sushi. They just need to change theusic, it is unacceptable. Should be music from Japans region. It is all about the experience for the customer. Ambiance andusic must match the origin of the food. 98% of all restaurants in America fail this basic 101 success standard.

My boyfriend & I went there for Valentines Day. It was my first time going there & Im already addicted to the food. I had the Steak and Shrimp & my boyfriend had the Chicken and Steak. The food was GREAT & i can definitely say that well be going back there again ! :)

Lovely restaurant. Quiet, clean and fast service. I had the lunch special 2 rolls for $7.25 otd. It was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Perfect portion for me for lunch. I chose the salmon roll and the asparagus roll.

Very chill and calm atmosphere here. Its small and cozy yet appealing. The service is quick and timely. The menu items have much too choose from. Delicious sushi as well as rice dishes. Great for family, couples, and solo dining.

Excellent service and very good sushi. Fresh with large portions. Each piece of sushi was larger than a typical Japanese restaurant. The clear soup that was included with the Sushi dinner was flavored with Tempura crumbles.

I used to love going there for sushi. They closed down for sanitation problems which sucks. I liked the sushi because it tasted very good and it was at a great price. Hope all is rectified with the state.

Came here on a whim- glad I did. The rolls I got were good, as was the hibachi chicken entree my kids split (seriously, its huge. Adults could share it). The waitresses were all incredibly efficient.

Stopped in while passing through Jacksonville. It was really good "quick" hibachi. They cook hibachi in the kitchen or you can get Sushi. Had both in family and both meals were good.
