Absolutely wonderful! My wife describes our experience here as, "The best meal Ive had since we moved to Jacksonville!" I came here a little skeptical because they have 3.5 stars on Google and their menu didnt appeal to me very much online, However, we came anyways because my pregnant wife wanted it and we compromised by her getting what she wanted. We walked up and were immediately discouraged by white table cloths and very well dressed employees. We were about to walk away because we thought we were underdressed but the hostess met us at the door and kindly insisted that we stay. She was very kind to us and welcomed us as new patrons. She sat us and introduced us to our waitress. It was a very welcoming introduction. Our waitress was very alert and visited us often. She was very friendly and even notified a manager that it was our first time here. The manager stopped by with a small, complimentary portion of Pasta alla Vodka to welcome us to his restaurant. I have to say this was, by far, the single best service we have ever had in our lives. I was completely blown away by the complimentary app. Ive never heard of that before. It was a very pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic as well. I ordered the Mezza Grilled Chicken Marsala. It was to die for! Just a wonderful, light dish with buttery mashed potatoes, perfectly sautéed crispy green beans, and a rich Marsala sauce over a juicy chicken breast. Yes, it was so good I had to describe it in detail. My wife was so impressed with the Pasta alla Vodka that she ended up ordering it as her meal. Our waitress offered to add a protein to it as well so my wife requested shrimp. Very good call, she loved it! It was a little rich and the combination of cheese and cream was a little heavy for the huge portion she got. I think it would be better suited as an appetizer, but my wife enjoyed it nonetheless. Our waitress kept our drinks full, which was impressive because my wife and I had about 4 or 5 refills each. Finally, the desserts. We had the Marscapone Caramel Cheesecake Dolcini, Torta di Ciccolata, and the Amaretto Coffee. All of our desserts were just wonderful! Seriously, the Torta was a warm rich chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato and tart raspberries, the coffee was a large warm dessert coffee with Amaretto topped with whip creme, and the Cheesecake was just a creamy well balanced dessert that just left us all quite satisfied. Overall our experience was perfect. There really wasnt anything that went less than perfect with our experience here today. On top of that, this review gave me enough points to make me a level 3 local guide on Google. I couldnt imagine a more amazing experience to help me reach this goal. I absolutely recommend and we will absolutely be back!

As frequent visitors of this restaurant, my husband and I decided to book their banquet room for our wedding reception. We worked directly with the coordinator for Brio as well as our own day of coordinator for our wedding. When my wedding coordinator arrived to prepare for the reception set-up, the room was not ready for her and was missing tables. Fast forward to our reception dinner, the lettuce for the salad was wilted, the pasta was cold and overcooked, and the waiters had no idea what they were doing. There was one waiter in particular that was very helpful, sadly I just do not remember his name. After spending $35 a plate and around $1100 for this food, my husband and I are extremely upset! We trusted Brio to provide a wonderful service to our extended friends and family on our wedding day as they have always done in the past. As you all know, you only have one wedding and cannot relive this day! After months of planning, I am extremely pissed off! If it wasnt for my day of coordinator Marsida (who is not affiliated with Brio) for making the reception room beautiful, I would have moved my guests elsewhere at last minute. I am hoping that a higher up from Brio will contact me to make this right! My wedding reception was ruined. I would like to add an addition to my review. I spoke directly to the GM and head office at BRIO.. They were fantastic! Even though I cannot re-live my reception night, they both wen above and beyond to make sure this situation was right! Thank you to the high ups at BRIO for taking care of this!

I wanted to give a five star rating. I really did. However the one thing this restaurant is missing is great customer service. I say "great" because having "good" customer service is easy. All you have to do is not be rude, just be pleasant. To be great you must go above and beyond. Like it would have been super awesome for any part of the management team to "touch" our table. Yes I know the terminology because I was in the industry for 15 years in New York City. Our waitress was attentive but was missing something. She just seemed bored or slightly peeved we requested outdoor seating, as did the hostess who sat us and denied us the first time. I understand the weather called for rain but jeez wiz its Mothers day weekend. The manager in the blue shirt accommodated us and arranged for a table outside. Just for the record we had a great time and the food was great and our service was too. Its just a little extra would have gone a long way. Even as we left, right as we hit the door, nobody said anything positive, like have a nice day or happy mothers day or thank you coming again. Nothing. It just seems to me great customer service is lost on this new generation of hospitality professionals. But us old school guys still go out to eat and we still appreciate it so pleased Dont think its not noticable. Because it is.

The food is outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful- very open and inviting. There was a good amount of room between each table. Our server, Eve, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I felt, for a Tuesday night, that the kitchen was pretty slow. It took 2 hours to eat from start to finish and we ordered apps, drinks and entrees fairly quickly. Ticket times seemed to be well over 20 minutes. Luckily when we received our meals, they were hot and fresh. The portion sizes are enormous! We started with bruschetta sampler and calimari (you can tell the calamari wasnt fresh, but it was good) I got the chicken limonne with the herbed pasta- omg! sooo good! i hate leftovers and today I was all too excited to eat this meal again( my husband was very upset that I didnt leave him the rest). One disappointment was the runners. They dropped off our meals on a large tray and just left them there. I dont know if it was server preference to place meals in front of the guest? Ive just never experienced that (both in my own serving experience and eating experience). Overall, I would recommend Brio to others and plan to return to try the carpaccio app and the chicken under the brick.

Awful food! The place is nice but the food was very untasty And without flavor. My friend ask for an orange juice And they only served her a half Of a glass. The prices are very high for such horrible food. Ill never come back there. However, oír waiter was nice And proffesional. Terrible comida.
