Why do I love this place? ...because of everything they do there. It is my absolute favorite place for breakfast and brunch. If we have a celebration, a family/cousins get together, early Sunday drive b-fast, or simply I want good food and to walk away with my pants unbuttoned and feeling sick from overindulgence we eat here. You could eat here I think in my opinion everyday for a year and not eat all the different combos they have on the menu. Oh my gosh, the pancakes and french toasts. All the different flavors and ideas they have. Their burrito game is on point! The home fries are perfect. And service with a smile ALWAYS. I love those girls. They bring me and my family such happiness when they turn that corner with our plates. Lol in all seriousness, for the price and the portion you will not find anything like this in our area. I like to think its the AK Valleys best kept secret. I do tell everyone about it and secretly hope they dont come so I can get my booth. I have never had a poor or bad experience to speak of. Hands down, my favorite place to eat.

We got there just before closing but they still seemed happy to have us. Had a really excellent farmers omelet with deep fried home fries - crispy on the outside as potato chips and soft and gooey on the inside. Real cozy small-town family atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices and close enough to 28 to be worth the trip off-highway.

DCD has insane portion sizes! The food I have tried so far (Pancakes, sausages, home fries and French Toast) came out fast and were tasty. Did I mention they have insane portion sizes? One of their pancakes could feed my family of four! The Service has been wonderful, fast and friendly.

Our company supplies the paper placemats to Deer Creek Diner and Ive never heard one bad comment about the food there in five years. When I have enough time, Ill stay and have an omelet myself plus home fries "brown and crispy". !
