Seeing Fox News on one of the TVs was a big clue - its a bar to watch sports and escape the last few horrid months, but alas the bartender clearly had it turned to that station intentionally. Within a few minutes, he and another couple were engaged in political discourse (aka bashing democrats & Obama). I couldnt wait to leave and now know that if Fox News is on a sports bar TV, I need to find another establishment focused on sports. An employee in such an environment should be told to keep sports on all televisions and to keep his political discourse for after work. We wont return and hope this discourages others.

Cannot speak about the food, but I would like to warn parents about the rampant phone theft that takes place here on a regular basis. Several of my daughters friends had their phones stolen from here, last night, my daughters new iphone5 which she just got for Christmas was stolen. She spoke to both a uniformed police officer, along with an under cover officer, both of which admitted is is a huge problem there, but offered little more. My suggestion, dont take your cell phone, or maybe seek a more secure venue.

This place is great! The bartenders Dan and Bill were very hospitable and great tenders. Lobster Bisque very good and hearty with a fantastic lobster flavor. The view is awesome right on the river huge yachts everywhere. Went yesterday and today, probably go back tomorrow. Very nautical and pirate theme as well as an Irish Pub theme. Doesnt sound like a very good mix but the proprietors made their restaurant and pub work with both themes. Would recommend this place to everyone.

While on are way to doing something else we stumble upon Brinys. This was a cool little place so we decided to grab some drinks and just enjoy the fans a bit as it was hot in the sun. The bartend was great he answered questions about the area and served up some tasty drinks. We later decided to eat there and the key lime pie is out of this world. It was too hot to really eat anything substantial but it smelled good. If your close this is a must to go and check out!!

This is our local "cheers" pub. We know all the locals and bar tenders. Its really the people that make this place, and the riverfront location. Food isnt bad either. Local bands play on Friday evenings. Scotty is our "guitar man" on a Sunday. Its always loads of fun and you can always meet interesting people. You may even meet our famous dog Toby whos a regular!

This place is great when you wanna have a drink and a view, I recommend it solely for that. If you wanna hangout with friends in a outside bar atmosphere is great! The food is not good, its only decent when youre really drunk and need to have something in your stomach lol... other than that its a great drinking spot

Lunch: The food was okay, not great, not bad. I had the spicy chicken finger wrap. It was almost warm but the fries were the frozen variety that are fair at best and these werent their best. Nice view of the New River, plenty of boat traffic to watch while you wait for your food. I will try here again.

Neat place near the river. Stopped in for lunch and everything was OK. Bathrooms were clean, service was good and the food was average. We had a wide variety of menu items from soup to salad to chicken and burgers. Nothing stood out, nothing was bad either.

Received a cup of water with a used straw. Received another cup with unidentified things floating in it. Got a bottle of water which was also covered in some orange goop. Chicken caesar had limp lettuce. And the check was covered in mayo. Not recommended.

Wait staff was very friendly but the food was poor (ordered Cobb Salad, Bacon Bleu Burger, Chicken Salad Wrap, pink lemonade and iced tea) so I wouldnt return. Can only recommend the hummus plate. FYI, its pretty much your only option on the Riverfront.

Just got a couple drinks after dinner. Outdoor bar area is nice, and live music was good. The lack of people and surrounding business activity drains the vibe. Beer selection was very lacking.

I like this place, the food, the decoration. My daugther loves their ribs. The decoration seems too much but you get used in a while. Good music and good burgers too
