I joined a colleague at the Royal Pig for lunch. She ordered the Killer Shrimp – Buffalo Style ($12) and I ordered the burger and beer lunch special ($10). We were both disappointed with our meals. The shrimp where tiny and bland. The burger was undercooked and the flavor was odd. The very nice server brought me another burger that was also undercooked. I chose to instead have the yellowtail snapper ($16). The snapper was over-seasoned and blackened, not what I had expected. We had the Bourbon bread pudding ($12) for dessert. My first bite of the bread pudding was accompanied by a long black hair. The manager didnt appear to be cognizant of how to handle the issues we raised with the food and was argumentative about the quality of the food we had received. I had to bargain with the manager to fix our check.

First, I think the food is excellent. Everything Ive ordered has been great. Unfortunately, the service has gone down hill since the place opened. Over the past few months, there have been numerous times where I waited nearly 45 minutes for a burger during when the restaurant wasnt that busy. There have been multiple other times when I ordered a burger done medium and they brought it to me basically raw. One time, in particular, I sent the burger back and they brought it back to me still rare. Today, I went over to the Pig to get a quick lunch. I sat down at the bar. Two or three minutes went by and nobody even acknowledged me. The bar was not that busy. So, in short, very good food (when the kitchen doesnt mess it up). But the service has been pretty suspect lately.

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant and it was a fair price however had a bad encounter with the owner in regards to his professionalism and service. As a local to the area i can tell you that you shouldnt be hassled just to have a good time. The OWNER of this restaurant rudely came up to me in front of all patrons and harrassed me because I had alcohol and demanded to see credit cards and all types of different ID as he believed i wasnt 21 although i gave him a Florida id stating my age of 26. He pulled me outside and continued to act rude towards me. All other staff were nice but whoever owns this place cares more about his personal interest and power trip then the paying customer.

I ate the pulled pork sliders and it gave me the worst food poisoning of my life! It was either caused by bad coleslaw or the pork both in the sandwich. Since pulled pork is by definition cooked very long I doubt it was undercooked but instead cross contaminated by some idiot in the kitchen who handled raw food, then my food. I normally would not place blame with food poisoning since it is so hard to pinpoint the source however, on that particular day my girlfriend and I shared every meal EXCEPT the pulled pork sliders at Royal Pig. I will never eat there again!

As i read some of the other reviews on here Im almost hesitant to leave such a positive one, but honestly this place has always been great. Typically I go here for drinks at night and they have a great beer selection. Just ate here last night for the first time and the food is outstanding. Got the burger with guacamole I dont remember what its called but it was one of the best burgers Ive had. Service was great too. Also, lots of beautiful women make the experience even better.

The food was delicious. Had the tuna appetizer and the chicken nachos. Both Amazing and I would repeat. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffles with the homemade syrup was do yummy. The chicken was good but I like the flavor of Yardbirds better. I had a side of Brussels sprouts and collard greens. Both were very good. My husband had the ribs that was served with Amaretto bread pudding. It was soooooooo good. Overall, the food was excellent and I am definitely going back...

We went here for a friends birthday on a Friday night. We were a party of 10 and were quoted an hour. After 1 1/2 hours we followed up and the manager said "Im not sure how fast well be able to get you seated, its busy" and instructed us to order food at the bar. We ate at the bar standing room only and still after 3 hours they never sat us nor did the manager ever offer to break us up into 2 parties or offer to comp us something or even apologize. Poor service!!!!

The food is pretty good. There is no consistency of service from the staff. Sometimes its amazing and sometimes its apathetic. Same with the speed. Ive been served so fast it wouldve beaten a deliver from that sandwich chain but Ive also been served so slowly that I could have had two lunches in the time it took for one. If you only have an hour for lunch, best to show up at 11:30 instead of Noon.

Nice place, great food, good Monday night promo. Only complaint was that service seemed to be rushing us out. It was about 9PM on a Monday and wasnt particularly crowded. They tried twice to take my plate and brought the check before I finished eating. We hadnt even finished our drinks and wanted to have a second. Thier loss, I suppose, as we moved to the bar and tipped the bartender instead!

Always fun. Food is always really good. Salmon is amazing. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. RP Burger is delicious. Chicken and waffles are on point. The waffles just melt in your mouth. And must try their signature drinks.. potent and tasty. A meal spot, or just a stop by and drink spot, cant go wrong with either. Unless of course you do neither, then, you are missing out.

I am a pretty big fan of this place. I really like the ambiance here, a lot of polished wood and nice accents with just enough tvs for sports without it being a best buy or other sh!tshow. The food here is great, I like the Mahi Club, the Tuna appetizer and they have a killer kale salad. All served timely by a friendly wait staff.

i absolutely love this place. its got a great bar, inside and out, and the food is consistently good. i particularly like the ribs and the burgers are always a good bet. the staff is friendly and the crowd that frequents here is a good one. theres a lot of TVs, so youre sure to find the sporting event you want to watch.

Absolutely amazing! Food had perfect presentation, everything was full of a unique flavor. Fast service. Love the fancy bottle they serve their water in. Best baby back ribs and brussels sprouts I have ever had in my whole life, literally falling off the bone. Oh, and you cant forget to mention their amazing cornbread.

Fantastic spot in Fort Lauderdale...only 10 minute Uber from front beach to this fantastic spot. If you like Craft Beer, amazing Mac and Cheese, TVs everywhere, top notch environment...and oh by the way VERY reasonable prices, this spot is for you. Will be back next time in the area. Keep up the great job!!

This place was okay. We were there when there was a $10 burger and beer deal. We bought two burgers - one was cooked correctly ( medium rare) and one overcooked (medium). Our waiter was super nice but did not share that some of the toppings were going to be extra so we had some sticker shock. Overall, okay.
