SO DISAPPOINTED!!! The first time my family visited, everything was superb. The second time was just okay. This mothers day was the 3rd time and we were profoundly disappointed. I ordered my usual plato mexicano and my husband ordered the churrasco steak and camerones platter. My husbands steak was burnt and both of our steaks were bland. My husbands platter was supposed to come with tortillas but despite us bringing the fact to the attention of our waiter, he only apologized empty-heartedly and never brought them, even when we reminded him again 2 more times. My taquito was decent but a little too cooked at the ends. The enchilada also was overcooked and dry and tough at the ends. Whoever made my chile relleño had no idea how to make it. It was covered in a 3/4 inch layer of "pancake batter", was burned, the cheese tasted like mildew. It was absolutely disgusting! (Let me come to your kitchen and show your staff how to make an proper, authentic chile relleño, AZTECA- you do NOT dip it in pancake batter!!!). The chile relleño was half the reason why I ordered the platter. When brought to the attention of our waiter I was offered an empty apology with no effort or offer to remedy anything. The best part of our meal was the complimentary chips and salsa (which was delicious) and our mojitos and margaritas which were okay but not up to par with the first time that we came here. And for this, we paid more than $75, not including the tip. Had our waiter behaved as if he cared or made any effort to regain our satisfaction, he would have quickly found out that my husband and I generally tip 65% to >100% of our bill when were satisfied with our server, regardless if we are satisfied with our meals. The servers cannot control the cooks afterall. But he didnt, so we only tipped the customary 25%. I only gave 2 stars because of the first time we visited, it was so phenomenal, but this time was so utterly horrible that we may not ever return again. AZTECA, GET IT TOGETHER!

Por cuestiones de mi trabajo siempre ando comiendo afuera fui a ese restaurante Azteca pine island blvd y compré tres tacos con arroz y frijol y ensalada horrible el servicio me dieron mi comida como que se le habían servido a un animal un taco traía solo cebollas y cilantro hablé con la manager Le pedí que por favor trata de arreglar su servicio hoy fui de nuevo pedí lo mismo y el servicio un fue peor los frijoles todo salido debajo de los tacos la carne sin sal el arroz duro, no horrible servicio. no me gustó. Allá la gente que va ahí que le gusta que lo traten como que fuera animales a regalar su dinero por gusto

Can I give this resturant -10 Stars? I cannot dislike this place any more. Azteca Mexican Restaurant has a very unreliable staff. I had a business event for 8 people so I ordered two of their platters since my clients requested Mexican food. I called 3 days in advance to place my order for 12:15pm, very excited about trying their food I showed up on the day of my event at 12:20pm and asked the server for my order, with the nastiest attitude she said "You have to wait 15mins." My response obviously was "I cant." because I had somewhere to be. She went and got the manager and he told me I did not place any order and that they didnt have any orders of platters placed for that day, to my advantage whoever took my order left the note of the order at sight, I could see it from where I was standing so I pointed it out to him. I ended up having to feed my clients pizza. This was a very stressful situation for me, I do not desire it upon anyone. Never going back there.

First and last time here... we made the large group reservation of about 10 over a week ahead of time and multiple times checked with the manager and hostess about our reservation and preferences of seating placement even the day of a few hours before our arrival and they still gave away our table... We were finally sat and they brought us stale unsalted chips with tasteless salsa, we order an appetizer in hopes of something better and yet an even worse experience. The "chicken" taquitos were very large, cold and the chicken tasted more like canned tuna, which left a very odd aftertaste. I had the tacos al carbon and they felt the need to serve oil soggy tortillas with a small amount of chicken with mainly refried beans covering most of the large plate, which also tasted off... Overall save your time and money for a real authentic Mexican restaurant.

Went to this place for my sisters birthday and what a horrible experience. First the waitress was not nice, food was horrible so horrible my mother got sick from eating shrimp quesadillas , my sons chicken quesadilla were soggy. And to top it off the women bathroom was disgusting! One toilet full of feces the other toilet full of paper with blood just gross!! Spoke to the manager after we paid and she gave us a complementary dinner coupon but guess what , we will never go there again! Also other customers were complaining of their food. And also after leaving the place looked it up un restaurant inspection and it has 12 violations! Yuck! I shouldve checked that before entering the place. Definitely dont recommend this nasty restaurant to anyone! Had to give it a star because I had no other choice but they deserve zero star!

Avoid! ...and find somewhere else to spend your money. The food is not anywhere near the quality of what this restaurant used to serve. Went on Sunday was sick on Monday. The service is very slowww yet, friendly. ...we tried the mango ceviche- it is not ceviche...it is more like salsa....crudely prepared and not at all flavorful, a mix of chopped, already cooked, previously frozen shrimp with a few diced mangos some onions and peppers tomatoes, lime juice (I think) and thats it....not ceviche. imo. Steak Fajita burrito was ordered by me, the wife had the skirt steak....our food was cold, rice barely warm...my portion looked as if it was prepared the day before...and the amount of what I suspect was a half fajita portion was lackluster and bland. get your act together senors y senoritas...we will not return.

Just had dinner tonight food was hot and tomatoee. Very family friendly lots of kids around and everyone was loud and happy. They had keryoki tonight maybe why. we had a mix up with the order and the manager came by after asking to see him and he made everything cool and bought a round for the table. Just be careful its a little loud and your order could go wrong so make sure you make it clear what your ordering. Be careful they dont load your tacos with pico de gallo and not meat my date was upset her tacos did look like a tomato sandwich. They did fix it though and it was fine. Thumbs up. would I rush back? prob not but if in area I would give it another try. Paquitos is still my favorite in nmb.

La comida es muy buena ,pero el olor de las alfombra a umedad es incomible los platos de plastico no se me hace decente para un restastauran ya que estan todos malos y los banos muy sucios,,,, bueno espero no se Molesten Pero creo que por esos detalles no se le da muy buenas clacificasiones
