Service was terrible. From hostess to waiter. To start our night we stood in front of the 3 hostesses for 10 minutes until they even ackowledged us. I understand they were busy but comeon at least welcome us to the establishment. They sat us outside at two top table that wobbled like you were in a fast food joint. The buss boy had to bring us bread and water after 15 minutes before our supposed waiter Mike even ackowledged us. After 30 minutes sitting at our table Mike arrived and and took our drink order. Jason who was not our waiter was much more helpful delivered our cocktails after 45 mins sitting at the table. After a long drawn out process Jason asked if would like to order an appetizers but we told him no because we were anxious to get our full order in. Jason talked me into the specialty $52 center cut fillet but left for Mike to take our order 15 mins later and a request to move our table to the table that just got up. After an hour of sitting we finally placed our order. The meals arrived soon after and the steak had no seasoning and bacon wrapping was so charred it was not even edible. The potato cake underneath the steak was hard as a rock and the glaze they put under it almost caused the steak and potato cake to slide right off the plate while cutting into the steak. The steak was high quality beef but the approach was just horrible. Dessert was good, wine was good, atmosphere was good. When the waiter Jason asked how my steak was I told him bacon was burnt but steak was good quality. I also let him know the potato cake was hard as a rock he told me someone else had complained about that as well just that night and simply said it was good to know. No manager to apologize. The check came, no discount, no comp which is fine Im not expecting $$ back but at least offer to bring an additional side dish or offer a dessert. Nope nothing $160 meal for two that i could have better food, service at half the price at Outback or Bonefish. Very dissapointed because Im a Coral Spring resident and was really looking forward to taking my wife out locally for a finer quality dining experience. This place failed in all aspects.

Absolutely amazing ! I took myself out for date night on Wednesday to see the comedy show. I felt a little awkward being a 31 year old lady going out alone. I walked in and the owner was so kind. Personally walked me over and showed me the best places to sit for the show. The waitstaff which were two young ladies were extremely friendly, and very attentive. I ordered a Martini which was poured in front of me and was perfect. For food, I ordered the antipasto and It was amazing. Had everything I could have imagined and was absolutely delicious. The show was hysterical. I laughed the entire time I was there. When the show was over the owner came back over and asked me how everything was and even gave me a dessert. I cant rave enough about what a wonderful time I had here. From the second I walked in I was treated like family. I would recommend anyone looking for authentic Italian food, and warm friendly atmosphere. Thanks again, and I certainly will be returning soon. :)

Warm, inviting, having the option to dine near the jazz band or not or to dine al fresco. The calamari was a 2 out of 10, their appetizer choices were good, their entrees were fabulous. We had a party of three: pasta with all the meats-my husband loved it, the other had the fish special and that was rated fabulous and I had eggplant parm and the sauce was NOT the cheap acidic sauce. The portions were large. The deserts were exceptional...my vote? The tiramisu hands down nice and wet. My husband said the cheesecake was the best ever in any restaurant and we are a family of restaurants! Exceptional service and to add to a great night...the jazz...wicked awesome! No fancy piano bar...jazz all the way. You cannot miss out on this place. A little pricey...I will look for specials since we want to frequent as often as we can. Its a must.

You had better have deep pockets, but who cares. Great food and excellent service! Five of us had dinner at this fine establishment over the Holidays. They were busy you know and well they should have been. We were seated immediately by a smiling gracious hostess and thereafter service was prompt and efficient in every way. We all ordered different dishes from the extensive menu. Wow! Dont expect any pizza parlor food here! The restaurant may be Italian, but well into the gourmet category of that genre. We were never rushed and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed delicious meal in spite of the obvious success and popularity of the crowded spot. Amazingly noise was at a minimum and there was no feeling of being jammed together in the large premises. Try it you will like it.

This is truly one of the nicest Italian restaurants I have eaten at in South Florida, and trust me when I say I am a true foodie. I love to cook, and I love fine dining. The food is excellent. I have NEVER had a bad meal. The service... you are treated like family. And to top it off, the new jazz bar area, Tavolino Della Notte is not only a great addition to the restaurant, but a great addition to Coral Springs night life. When my parents visit from Ohio, they say, dont even ask where we would like to go out to dinner. After eating at Tavolino Della Nonna their first time, a couple years ago, their list includes one place! Its a MUST try.

First off I can believe this place is busy!! The atmosphere is decent, kinda dark on the inside. Never a fan of dark atmospheres when eating food. Most of the time they are hoping your a few drinks in and cant see the quality of food upon presentation. To be short and sweet this place is horrible, the food is bad. I did not expect anything great as most Italian restaurants are average at best. But this place the food is expensive and this is not good Italian food, If you dont believe me go there and eat. Put it this way Carrabaas is EXCELLENT compared to this place! Stay away fom this place if your hungry. Overpriced poor quality food

My husband and I have traveled extensively in Italy, so were quite particular about our Italian food. Tavolino gets it right every time. Every dish weve ordered from appetizer to entree to dessert has been delicious. Im also impressed with how well managed the restaurant is. Our waiters always take the time to describe the specials and to recommend dishes. Tavolino also has a fun, lively atmosphere. Try it--you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. I have been frequenting Tavolino Della Nonna for years, and have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful, and the food is impeccable. The atmosphere is lovely, and they somehow managed to create a fine dining atmosphere while being cozy at the same time. The Tavolino Della Notte side is wonderful as well, the bands are good performers and its a fun place to be.
