I love this place and I recommend everyone to go. The place is basically an All You Can Eat. You grab a plate and start picking from their broad selection of food, that though simple is definitely good. POC has a lunch special that everyone loves, both because of all the food you get to eat and the price. If I remember correctly its $13 per silverware. Yes, thats it, for only $13 you get to stand up as many times as you want and get as many plates of food as you tummy will allow; no wonder why the place is always packed at noon, so packed you might have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for a table. The lunch special ends at 2 pm, and unfortunately from that time on they close until 5 pm - I find that a bit weird. I presume they are getting ready for dinner. POC doesnt seem to have dinner specials, your meal simply goes back to the ~$22 it usually costs, and though its still a decent deal, the incentive is not the as strong as it is during lunch. When it comes to the food, you get to choose from sushi to skirt steak and chorizo. They also have raw food, and a selection of desserts that go from ice cream to fruits. As you can imagine their sushi selection isnt the biggest one out there, but its good enough, and if youre a sushi lover like me youll appreciate the fact you get to have all the wakame you could ever wish for on top whatever sushi you chose. I personally enjoy having a plate full of sushi and then switching to some skirt stake and other meats. Over all the place is great, I hope they continue to thrive so I can continue to go. Nevertheless if I had to summarize the few things I dont like it would go like this: 1.- You never know what sushi youre picking, theyre not accurately labeled. So unless youre a well versed, youll never know whats that tasty roll you just had. 2.- The skirt stake is never ready when you want it, unless you want it Medium Rare... Every time I have to wait for the guy to put it back on the grill and make it Medium Well for me. 3.- Along the lines of the precious point, the skirt stake and the like are the only meal you dont serve yourself, theres always someone cutting it for you, cooking it, and putting it on your plate. These guys seem to be moody all the time, so its a bit uncomfortable to ask for more meat. My personal recommendation: Visit during lunch time as youll pay half of what it would cost at dinner. Also, dont waste your appetite eating just one thing. Have a small plate of one thing first, then switch to a different one, and so on. Its like a game, you get to unlock different levels of appetite when you switch from one selection of food to another.

I have been a regular here for about two years now and visit at least twice a week. This is not your typical buffet. Its NOT crowded with a bunch of people in flip flops and shorts. Its not messy and filled with a bunch of food you dont feel safe about eating. There servers will not give you a bad attitude and hover over you while they TELL you to pay your bill. The bathrooms and dining area are not filthy and unattended. Everything about this place screams QUALITY! Everything in the "hot" buffet is obviously fresh and taste great! The sushi buffet bar has all your favorite top quality cuts. Theres a great variety of meats in the grill station and everything is cooked to order. Their raw bar is one of the only places in town that I will eat raw oysters and the desert selections are out of this world! They have flan, tres leches, tiramisu, bread pudding, creme brule and a bunch of other great selections. Best of all, it all made fresh in house! This isnt that cheap flavorless crap you find at the other buffets that comes in a box from who knows where and has been sitting around for who knows how long. These are the real deal, homemade, top quality, full of flavor deserts! The menu and pricing changes slightly during lunch and dinner and theyre both well worth the price. On Sundays (maybe Saturdays too, not sure) you can enjoy their brunch with cool things like fresh made crepes, waffles and omelets and they also offer all you can drink Bloody Marys and Mimosas! Check them out and I know you wont be disappointed. In-fact, if youre like me youll end up wanting to bring everyone you know to this place so they can enjoy it too!

William Gonzalez the General Manager has the worst customer service we have ever experienced. I have been going to POC for years and had a good experience up until my last visit. Do not waste your money. My husband and I will not be going there again. We arrived 15 minutes after opening and all the food was stale and cold. We told our server who told the manager and nothing was done. When we called William over to provide feedback, he did even let us talk, he said the server told him everything and the. starting raising his voice and talking really loud in front of the staff and customers eating saying that all we wanted was a freebie. I have never been so humiliated and insulted in my life. I did not come on my birthday for this mistreatment. Not only did he not listen to my concern, he said that I was going kick us out for no reason not that I want to come back anyway. The food was not good and was cold, probably left overs but worst of all was the manager. I was polite, never once raised my voice or acted irrational for him to treat me so poorly infront of so many people. I even felt bad for the people dining in. I cannot believe this is the person they have running this place no wonder its a mess and hes been there 7 years. Wow. I am at a lost for words. I work im the hospitality business as a general manager and would never treat a customer this way. If someone provides feedback we should listen with empathy and not bash someone for being honest. Do not eat here, they dont care about their customers. I give one star because I cannot give them a 0. Horrible experience, waste of time and money.

POC Buffet gets a solid four stars. After eating here for years, Ive gotten bored of the selections. Its pretty much the same exact foods every time. They barely add new items. But if this is your first time, go for it! I usually go for dinner and once for lunch and the sushi has been pretty consistent. Although its more expensive, I prefer dinner over lunch because sashimi is included in the dinner price. I dont really consider it sashimi though, because its more like thick slices, 1/4" to 1/2", of salmon, tuna, escolar, etc. I usually cut the sashimi in half and eat it with a bite of a sushi roll. The sushi rolls alone do not have enough fish in them for me, so adding some sashimi helps make me feel better. They also have a carving station, hot foods (pot stickers, baby back ribs, chicken nuggets, fries) and a cold station (clams, snow crab legs). Salads and ceviches are also commendable. Desserts are good but not omg amazing. I feel like the desserts get too warm sometimes. Service has been excellent every time so far. They clear the used plates off your table pretty quickly and are friendly. Its going to be about $55+ for two people including tip. Its still quite a deal considering youll be stuffed with sushi happiness when you leave.
