Ive been to the Yard House several times, in a few different cities. The beer selection is very good (though, not truly exceptional). I keep hoping the food experience will improve. Its getting worse. The cooks are fine. They prepared the dishes as ordered and as designed. The problem is the executive chefs who plan the menu. The menu is too large and too complex. The flavors often dont pair well together, and the ingredients are not of high enough quality to make the experience what is needs to be. Last nights flank steak and eggs was inedible, though the cooks obviously prepared the dish exactly as the chef intended. The crab dip was edible, but the least satisfying Ive had anywhere. My buddys three tacos were "fair." Ive had other meals there, with mostly similar results, although this was the first time Ive described my meal as inedible. The chefs need to do fewer items, with less complexity, better quality ingredients, and teach the cooks to do them well. I had a lamb burger in Chicago that was leagues better than YHs lamb burger. It can be done. Service was fine. The manager was trying very hard to make it a good experience (it was a slow night). There was a more experienced "beer expert" on staff who did a great job recommending beers. The server was not as knowledgeable about beer, but was otherwise competent. Ambiance is very good. Clean, modern, fun atmosphere. Parking AT the restaurant is a total ripoff. Be careful to use municipal parking nearby. Its really too bad. A place like this has great potential. I just wish the executive chef had a better food plan. I wont visit again. Go for beer, skip the food.

I live in South America and miss quality microbrews. So when I found the Yard House online before my trip to Miami, I was pretty excited. The website makes it look like they have hundreds of beers. However, I think that the list of beers on the website includes all the beers that all the Yard Houses around the country have. In Miami Beach they only had about 30-40 beers and none of the ones I really wanted. However, they did have a good selection of quality beers so Im not complaining. Also we ate some food and everything was pretty tasty. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which sounded great in the menu description. After I did so I was like, "I just ordered a grilled cheese sandwich... how stupid was that?" All I can say is that it was the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich Id ever eaten. Amazing! Staff was very amenable. I recommed this place if youre looking for some quality brews and some good chow!

Started well but quickly went downhill sadly. Initially this ticked all the boxes for what I wanted. Server was great explaining everything and was very helpful. My starter came and was just about warm, as I was starving I put up with it although it wasnt as good as Id hoped it would be. Main course of burger had to be sent back as was cold. Server & manager very apologetic and new steaming hot Ive was brought out after another 10 mins or so. Ordered another round of drinks but they never turned up. Beer selection is good (of you get it), food is average. Disappointing night, thought it may turn out to be a regular but sadly wont be going back.

Our first time here on vacation, our server Gerry did a phenomenal job. Everything was reasonably priced. Being my girlfriend is a Vegetairan, the menu selection is usually very little to none for most places. The Yard House had a very extensive menu for her in the "garden" section, with many many options. She had the vegetarian chicken tenders and said she hadnt had some that good in years, also my burger was cooked to order and was great. Because of the large vegetarian menu, we will be returning once again before we leave so she may choose from the large selection once again. Service was outstanding and prices were extremely fair. Thank you.

All I can say is wow and wow so glad Yard House has arrived and open on the beach. Definitely NOT a tourist trap but a local hot spot. Took Mom out I had the Surf and Turf burger and I was blown away Mom had the Thai chicken salad and she loved it as well we finished our dinner with their great chocolate souffle that was the icing on the cake lol. The service was outstanding everyone was so friendly and nice which is something rare to find on the beach. No doubt I will be coming back again and again for the great service and outstanding food.

We decided to have a quick dinner with our one year old and yard house is always a safe choice! We were promptly seated into a nice booth where the baby could enjoy his nap. Our server Gary was very attentive and suggested some great items from the menu we hadnt tried. Our appetizers and entrees came out promptly and with a smile. We had the coconut shrimp, ahí chips, tomato bisque and onion rings as well as the pineapple chicken. Everything was delicious and the service Gary provided was 5 stars. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place is like a sexy alehouse! Definitely got the best beer selection on the beach, especially those IPAs 9% beer. The food is awesome except their California roll, since its different and basically laid out rice with fish on top. Sushi is about texture for me anyway, Im sure other people will like it. I recommend the french onion soup, (A bit salty). Or The tortilla soup which is phenomenal with the fresh avocados. The best entrée is the fried chicken, its really done well. Some items are overpriced, but thats South Beach.

Service and beer selection are good. Most appetizers are good although overpriced. Ambiance is good. However the food entrees are mediocre in quality and flavor, and way overpriced. The ribs are the "safe" choice, but nothing close to a BBQ joint ribs. The rib-eye cut is small and without flavor, definitely not a $30 steak. Stick to the beers and appetizers. NOTE, lots of people are putting reviews here thinking this is Yard Bird, another restaurant which in food quality is WAY better and beyond this place.

This place was the bomb dot com!! Ive been to the Yard House in Boston & LA but Id say this was the best one! We had the server Dante and he far exceeded our expectations! Food was delicious, fresh, massive portions (huge!) and Dante was informed on gluten and dairy in the food. Super impressed! I had the chicken and avocado sandwich in a lettuce wrap, and family had a variety of a pasta, dynamite roll, chicken wings, beef sliders and fish and chips. We will definitely go back!

Good beer, terrible, lousy food! They need to do something about the kitchen. I live on south beach and we go with friends over there to try beer, they have a lot but every time we order food it comes overcooked or bland. Also there is no salt/pepper on the tables. The problem I think is because the menu is enormous, they should cut it minimum half so the cooks would be more professional.

Very well-priced for the area. The country-fried chicken was delicious and perfectly crispy. The beer selection on tap is extensive, as well. I personally ordered a Moscow Mule and it was perfectly sweet and had a nice punch to it. The only downside was the service. There was barely anyone in there and it took almost 40 minutes to order our drinks and receive them for a group of 6.
