Simply loved it. Arrived on a late Saturday morning last weekend and the place was buzzing with a lovely Family atmosphere. Ilse greeted our group and gave us personal attention starting us off with some free coffee to hold us over whilst we waited. We decided to eat outside in the breezy cloudy comfort under a lovely large tree with umbrella covered tables and were served promptly with drinks then a nice combination of German specials and American breakfast cuisine. The food was served very hot, fresh, delicious and the atmosphere to cheer you up. Reminds us of the Family home restaurant environment we grew up with in Europe. Thank you for the kind hospitality Ilse. We will be back. God bless. Sauerbraten is awesome! Get the red cabbage... Mmmmm

This place is just a great time. Ive been here a million times, and they suprise me with how great they can be. Theyre very popular so the wait can be a while, but well worth it. Plus the waiting area outside is well shaded, and they provide free refreshments during the wait. The service is amazing. They take the time to get to know everyone and it feels like eating with family you actually like. The food is great. Ive never had a bad dish. Thats from breakfast , to lunch, and even to dinner. Everything tastes fresh and the prices are just right. Please take the chance to visit ! You wont regret. My husband and i like to bring everyone we know! Trust, youll love it! Ladies have a Mimosa! Fellas have a BeerMosa!!

Great Pompano staple. Its teeny tiny inside with a very intimate feel. Great wall decor. But the food is unmatched. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner - this is some of the best food youre ever going to get. From the eggs and brats for breakfast (and you can even get a perfect croissant!) to the cheesy spaetzle and schnitzel for dinner you absolutely cannot go wrong. Good beer selection, good wine selection, good parking if you go far enough back, outdoor seating, free coffee while you wait in the morning. If I lived closer I would probably be there every day.

Visited Ft. Lauderdale between Dec 30 and Jan 6...visited the Nook 3 times for lunch....the location is cute and casual....lots of protection from the sun...almost like sitting in your backyard...the people are friendly and attentive....go out of their way to be friendly...and its genuine. The food is wonderful...like a home made meal....and reasonably priced.....Beer was very cold... We visited on a Saturday...it was very noisy inside...they wouldnt serve outside as it was just to busy. A great find. I would definitely go back....

Great little restaurant for breakfast. We have been coming here for years, it is very family friendly and the service is always quick. Very hospitable place and the food is consistently good. Be prepared to wait if coming on weekends for breakfast, looks like the secret is out. They also only accept cash, which is always frustrating to remember to hit the ATM before going. The coffee served here is also on the strong side. Prices for breakfast specials are reasonable but dinner and lunches are on the pricey side.

Food is good and cozy place but servers are not very good with costumer service when the costumer goes for the first time. Have to be frequent costumer to get the atention. Because I saw how good they are with old costumers but my first time been there, before I finished mi plate they just gave me my bill without offering any desert. But dont be wrong I like this kind of small places family own. Just costumer service for new people.

Well, all I can say is that this place is a treasure found." Excellent food, loud (in a good way) and happy atmosphere - its almost like a family dinner at home - except someone else cooks and does the dishes. The food is authentic, service is great. Its a small dining room so it gets full fast (and often, it seemed). Great selection of beers. We will return but, next time, were bringing friends.

We went in the door for breakfast and were ignored for what seemed like a long time. Servers looked at us and then went about their business, which evidently did not include making new customers feel welcome. We left and have never been back even though we live 4 minutes away. Honestly, we felt like we had the plague or something. There are several good breakfast places nearby so no loss.

Born and raised in on old Fashion Country Home, back in Germany. This is absolute the best. The Food taste just like Home, the Portions are great, the Service are good. I bin all over the north east USA.. and visited German Restaurants i never found one so good, Guess what i am going 2 to 3 times a Week and eat there. Come on down and bring you Friend with you ,you never will regret it

Clean restaurant, nice servers with German music playing ,Our dinner was just a tad more on the sour side than sweet, after saying it was just a tad on the sour side my comment was not taken to kindly, the replay back, thats how we have made it the last 30 years, Did not say that it was Bad, No Problem most likely wont be going back any time soon.

Ive driven by this place dozens of times and never stopped. Had breakfast (omelet and beacon) and I have to say the food was excellent and exactly the way I ordered it. I would recommend upgrading the coffee which was not so great but I can live with. Its really hard to find a good breakfast place in the area. I will definitely be returning soon.

Always GREAT!! Fabulous home cooking good and GREAT service. One of my absolute favorite places for any meal. They serve the best German food that I have had in over 40 years. Nothing else comes close. A secret little gem. The family that runs it and the other staff are all amazing. Super nice and super service.

Its our first time vacationing in Pompano Beach, so we had dinner at Cypress Nook. I love good German food, and they did not disappoint! Everything was just fantastic, the portions were HUGE, and the prices were reasonable. This place definitely added to our great vacation experience!

Had the eggs benedict, they were absolutely incredible, the tops. The egg was poached just perfect and the Hollandaise sauce was to die for rich but not too rich just perfect. Great friendly laid-back service the atmosphere is very relaxing and well thought-out. Its a must-have

Love this place. Food is outstanding, I have tried few different items on the menu and all of them were delicious. Try the Pretzels, they are the best. Outside sitting, pet friendly, and great customer service. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

Family run and friendly. The chicken schnitzel was good. Veal schnitzel was greasy and not crisp. Sausage wasnt anything to write home about. Sourcrout was disappointing. . Home fries were tasty as was the red cabbage. Yummy apple strudel.

Great, authentic German food served in a friendly family restaurant. Be sure to start off with a giant pretzel and a good German beer. The entrees are all good and very flavorful. Finish with some of the best apple strudel served in the country.

This place used to be amazing. I moved out of Florida a couple of years ago and came to visit for the week. I was so excited to get their ham hock meal but was so disappointed. It was almost entirely fat and their recipe has changed completely.
