this used to be our favorite sushi/thai. they used to have outstanding fresh food and when one of the employees, mike, worked there it was a pleasant place to go to. love the decor its literally like walking into thai land. but last year when ever we ordered our favorite food, tuna tataki, pad thai, smoked salmon, unagi, large shrimp curry, sweet mango rice and such there was always something wrong. for instance the sushi would be hard on the sides(salmon), tataki would be the lowest grade tuna and still had to pay $13 and the ponzu sauce horribly salty and thick. i called and just simply advised the owner that we dont want to go else where and he kindly apologized. but we gave them five tries and every time the same thing. we stopped going for about a year but i had to give them one last shot. so we went in ordered our usual and unfortunately it was the same. we realized that our $85 bill did not match the food we ordered at all, more like a fast food shity Chinese. the last straw was when the waiter came outside to us as we were getting in the car and asked us if were american and then showing us the tip we left. apperantly $11 was not enough. we did not want to leave a full %15 because he had an attitude the whole time but i thought we were fair enough. not professional at all. this place is going down hill and we are sorry to say it. used to be a wonderful awesome food restaurant with good employes and no offense but with emloyes who you could understand and had no rude attitude. the people working there now are those kind of people that would do something to your food if they dont like something. and also i think they should take down the news paper articles that voted them #1 thai rest because that was a long time ego and they do not fit that standard anymore any suggestions for another thai here in CLW please let me know.

I went here for the first time recently. The wait staff was friendly but you dont get whats advertised. When I ordered a "chefs special", Tiger Cry at $23, I was left with mixed feelings with what I received. They advertise that the dish comes with soup of the day, but the wait staff neither informed me what the soup of the day was and they didnt serve it with my meal; yet, I was still charged full price. I was tired and it didnt occur to me that I needed to follow-up on this sort of thing. The meat was very tender and good, but I dont think Ill keep this place in rotation for visits, even if the decor was nice.

Its a mix of Thai and Sushi. I would grade their sushi higher than their thai. Ive been there several times and I tried several thai dishes and was disappointed every time. Im a very picky thai cuisine lover (thats my favorite food) and I have every ime I have a chance. Their thai flavors are weak and off. The curries are a bit diluted taste wise, some ingredients (lime leaves) were missing (at least in my dish), could not find lemon grass either. Dont get me wrong the food is ok but I would not call it very good. The decor is gold and carved wood - typical thai. Service - good too.

This place has degraded in quality. $55 for three meals, Pad Thai was not good quality, spring rolls were soggy and soaked in grease and clearly had jot been patted off before being packaged for a to-go order. Calling in the lady had an attitude, and she had a terrible disposition when I picked up the order. The place had one family in it so her mood was completely uncalled for. Mixed up the levels of spice so one family member got too spicy while the other lacked in flavor. Would NEVER recommend them or eat there EVER again. Go any different Thai restaurant in Tampa Bay.

Having spent time traveling in Thailand and enjoying its excellent food and lovely people, we were very happy with this find. It is a relaxing and beautifully decorated environment in which to enjoy high quality, freshly prepared dishes. The waitstaff is attentive, listens carefully to special requests and unobtrusive. Yes, it is a bit more costly than the run-of-the-mill takeaways but for very good reason - the quality and presentation of the food is superior!

To-go dinner bag opened on the bottom and dinner fell out on my front lawn after three minute drive. Pad Thai was supposed to be spicy but the dinner I rescued from lawn was bland. My wife was starving so she ate the Curry I saved off of grass. Wouldnt answer phone. Went back. They remade Pad Thai, and refunded money for Curry dinner on front lawn. Stepped in wifes Curry dinner (on lawn) on the way in the house.

One of my worst times that Ive ever ate in a restaurant. Me and my husband went therw for dinner, and we both left very disappointed! Bad service, poor quality of food, and prices are not cheap for that type of experience. Even the server was rude, trying to blame me for my plate choice, mentioning that "she told me before I order!" Will never go there again. Dont go and ruin your dinner.

This is a must for us when we visit Clearwater. Its a favorite of all five of my family members whove dined here either for take out or for eating in. Good to great service depending on who is serving you. Charming atmosphere. Excellenct thai dishes. Some of the best Ive had. We introduced my meat and potatoes father-in-law to it last visit and he wanted to eat there twice in one week!

I was greatly disappointed paying so much for such a small portion for pad thai, and nothing else with it. The flavors were decent but nothing amazing, slightly better than mall food, but at least then I could have gotten a side and a drink and for less. Not to mention the order was to go, I did not receive any utensils or napkins. Nothing quiet like eating Thai with your fingers.

When Im in the area, Pad Thai and crab ragoons come to mind. We usually call ahead order for take out. The chicken Pad Thai can be ordered at the spice level desired. And the crab ragoons are soooo good with curry added to the cream cheese based fried delights. I was recommended this from friends who have been ordering from here for many years. I definitely suggest trying.

We love Thai Coconut! Always fresh, made to order, and friendly service by their staff. The lunch menu is quick and inexpensive for stopping in for a bite and being able to get back to work on time. I just got dinner their last night, and everything was made to my specifications, and the woman who took my order was really nice, and pleasant to talk to. Delicious food!!

32 dollars for 2 dinners and it was barely appetizer portions. The chicken was super dry. Ordered pad Thai chicken and Thai coconut shrimp. 4 shrimp for 19 bux, what a fugging rip off. The best part is the flavor profile was bland at best and we ordered 4 outta 5 on there hot scale. This place sucks really really bad, what a rip off and a joke of a meal.
