heres my experience from saturday night with no exageration. im 36 years old and you can check out my profile to see im just a normal guy. i was dead sober and i sat down at the bar right in fron t of the taps. a man was drawing in a pad on my right, drinking something very dark. i looked to my left and said hello to the couple next to me. nice couple. the husband looked like Einstein. the bartender walked up, poured a beer and was gone. not even an acknowledgment. she was thin, frown faced and brunette, maybe even black hair. ok no problem. im not in a rush. she comes by again. does her thing and i just stare at her smiling waiting to greet her. nothing. then AGAIN, and not still not even eye contact. i look at the other patrons and shrug like whats going on? a woman at the bar smiled and gave me a look like good luck. a man walks behind the bar and begins to fill a boot. i say ohhh its self service, thats hwy i cant get a beer lol he laughs and says hes the owner. we spoke briefly whie he filled the boot. i make small talk with him by asking how much the boot holds, etc. he is gone and finally the bartender comes by again and I say "HI" as she stands in front of me filling a pint. still nothing.. am i on a hidden camera show? she comes by again and i just blurt out as she is filling a beer in front of me."ill have that ipa with a goose on it please." she looks at me like i called her a badword.. turns, fills a bowlshaped glass, (what are those called?) slams it down in front of me full of foam and walks away. the entire procedure took around 15 minutes. she was such a nasty individual. there is no other way to say it. i have no clue what her problem was but she sucked. did she have to work a double? did someone not show up? i dont know. i wiped my nose to kill the foam, drank what was in it and told everyone around me to have a lovely evening, i had seen enough. it was truly a shity experience. I BEG someone who works there to respond. tell me to come back and that she doesnt work there anymore! i LIVE in east lake woodlands and really thought it would be a cool place to check out. i wont delete this review but i would happy to add a positive experience to it.

I went here for the first time with some friends who were frequent patrons. It took over 10 minutes for a hostess to appear and even acknowledge us at the door (by then 4 other groups of people were waiting behind us for a table), another 20 minutes for a waitress to come over and take our drink order (she didnt even ask if we were ready to order food, which we were), another 20 minutes to get our drinks, another 20 to place our food order, surprisingly decent time to get our food, and then an hour to close our check. I asked my friends if the horrible service was normal, and they said yes. One of my friends and I ordered the the Scallops a la Trieste, which is listed on the menu as seasoned with a number of herbs and garlic. Both of our dishes came out as pasta with olive oil, olives, and scallops; no seasoning whatsoever. It was so bland I couldnt even finish it. The whole experience was terrible, and I wouldnt recommend it. The ridiculously long wait to get a table when they werent even busy was enough to make me want to leave, and had I not been there with a group of friends, I would have left then and there.

Pretty cool place...I love the look of actually seeing the Brew-making equipment. Very attractive in the small space that they have. The service is great also, It wasnt busy when myself and a friend of mine were there, so the service was almost too good. The food was good also. Not amazing. But I dont know Wiener schnitzel either ! My friend that I was with(Whom has been to Austria and Germany) many times said that it isnt supposed to be very flavorful but tender. And it was tender. So He was right! Ill try the Brats next time. Oh...Did I mention their Beer Selection ? ! Absolutely amazing! I have never tasted a "Lambic" above 4.1% alcohol ! Their Cherry Lambic @ 11% and The Mixed Berry Lambic at 12% ! Both amazing! I prefer the Cherry, the 1% less makes it just that "one bit lighter"! I cant wait to see this place when they open up the Bier Garden! Probably a really nice view included ! So get ready...BTW,the staff is very nice and friendly,as well as helpful.

Three of us arrived at 5:30 pm to an empty restaurant, there were two guys at a booth and maybe one person at the bar. We order two schnitzel dinners and a grilled chicken dinner. Our salads came out right away but after that it went down hill. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive and the waitress had one excuse after another. She told us she would take 15% off the bill for our wait, only to find out the prices are higher then listed on the menu. When we asked to see the menu after receiving the bill the waitress then says "oh yea the new menus arent printed yet so I took off 15 %" This was our third time eating and it is our last time,no wonder the place was empty at dinner time.

I LOVE Lagerhaus. The environment is great and the beer is amazing. Franz, the owner, brews his own beers which are great and you have other German/Austrian beers on draft. Its almost overwhelming when you first take a look at the chalkboard of all the beer but they are so nice to allow you to taste test a few items. When it comes to the food, I havent had much of a variety because Im so stuck on the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potatoe Fries. Another favorite is the Chicken Cheese Steak. Yuuuum!! Also, join up and be a Lagerhauser and you get specials and a free first cup of the newly tapped kegs! :]

Nice Friendly environment, great Beer and Hi-Def Big screens. Owned by Franz, the Brewmaster from the now defunct Hoppers. Great beer selection. 15 on tap, 50 + more in bottles. Brewery not online yet, but I was assured it would be VERY soon. They use the correct glasses for each beer, and good prices for the size of the glasses 14, 22, 44 oz glasses, larger than most pubs that put everything in pint ale glasses . Pizza is great, very authentic, also fantastic Wiener Schnitzel that covers your plate. Be prepared to bring food home. Nightly specials made it an even better value.

Great Place to hang out and enjoy some handcrafted beers ! Beer lovers you do not get this anywhere else and you can even get the great history about the drafts if you want. Cozy environment with beer garden and european deko. The bar crew did a nice job and you get very easy in contact with the locals if you want. Food was good, specially the "pork wings" and the Pizza are worth a try. Only downside the austrian potato salad needs some improvements. Little bit more touch of love will do or an exchange to german potato salad.
