Summary: Tasteless and cheap. My grandparents and I have been going out for breakfast every Sunday morning for years. We rotate between different restaurants and try new places often. We tried Farmer Boy today. When we stepped in, I noticed it was pretty clean and decorated nicely. Pretty quiet atmosphere (unlike Lennys or Cracker Barrel). It was somewhat busy, a good sign. We got the menus and right away I noticed the prices. They were very low. Its nice to not overpay for breakfast, but theres a certain point where the quality of the ingredients is compromised. The selection was also very basic. We ordered ham and cheese omelettes with potatoes and hashbrowns and toast. Wait time was average. Service was okay, but not super friendly. We were checked on once served and drink refills were offered. As for the food, the omelettes had no flavor. They were dry, dense, and overcooked. There was not many ham cubes in them. There was supposed to be American cheese in them but we didnt see any or taste any. The potatoes were bland as well, even slightly off-tasting. The generic squeeze bottle of ketchup did nothing for them. The best thing honestly was the toast with some Smuckers jam. Coffee was just okay. Well cross this one off our list. Bill came to $20 and some change for 1 ham and cheese omelette - potatoes - toast - soda 1 ham and cheese omelette - hash browns - toast - side of french toast - coffee Advice to management: Increase your prices and use better ingredients. The manager should be fired. The stupid lady has seated me where i didnt want to be to begin with. I was kind of forced to sit where she wanted me. Because the place was empty I went with it. My wife and I were engaged in conversation and the stupid manager seats another couple right behind us in the the booth. I said do you have to seat them there? I asked and she gave a dirty look and walked away. So I turned to the couple and said 25 booths in this place and they seat you directly next to us.. Well the customer and I had words. The ladys, she was loud on the phone rang it was terrible so I moved myself and my wife to another booth. I gave no tip because the waitress did nothing to resolve the altercation between the customer and I. I asked for the manager and with a snobby attitude she said " I AM THE MANAGER" and walked away. I noticed the blinds were terribly dirty and they probably still are. I was not going to put in a complaint but after thinking about what happened I am now. That manager should be fired after she is made to clean the blinds. I had words that almost turned physical with the only other customers in the place because of a stupid nasty manger.

Years ago, I would agree that this was a wonderful place to dine for any meal. In fact it used to be a favorite place to go after a long day of shopping. Recently (past few years), the food quality has completely bottomed out. The service is pretty pathetic as well. We decided to give the place one more shot today, and we will never go back. The food that was supposed to be hot, was cold, and the food that was supposed to be chilled was warm. The taste? Well, all of our meals were dreadful and tasteless. You could grab a better bite to eat at a neaby school cafeteria! Im wondering if the place was sold because I cant imagine such a massive decline otherwise.

The food was ok but not anything special. The thing that really irked me though was that I ordered a tea instead of coffee. No refill on the tea bag. The cost of the tea is same as coffee which was around $2. The excuse by the owner is supposedly because you cant get as much tea per bag as you can coffee. Talk about cheap. You could atleast give me three or four bag limit for $2 payment when tea bags sell for like 8 cents a piece. Also apparently a number of people had complained before and word from the waitress is he just doesnt care. Talk about owner is always right. Ill never go back and would recommend looking for somewhere better.

The food was very good, however the service was not very good. Listening to 2 waitresses argue over the table i feel is poor taste. The waitress we had was very unfriendly. She seemed kind of annoyed. Was rushing our order. There was only 2 sets of silverware at the table and four of us. When I asked for more and extra napkins she was like yeah and walked away. Just the overall tone she had was rude. Ive read reviews that this place treats you like family, but if this is how family treats you I dont think I would ever come home.

Stopped in for Saturday morning breakfast. Staff is friendly and quick for service. The decor is different almost like a Greek cafe with the mural. At the front is a full bar with a hefty selection (to early to sample anything so no clue on price). The breakfast was delicious but the biscuits were AMAZING. The coffee was also mellow and not bitter. The cheese selection for the omelets was also a huge plus. Great breakfast spot for sure!

This place treats you like family. My server (Janette) had my drinks at the table before I sat down. She keeps them full and table clear if plates finished. Good portions are very generous and food is generally great tasting. Highly recommend this restaurant to all. Great job to George and his partners for establishing a place where you WANT to go to week after week. Larry.

Ducked in for a brief bit of breakie before going on a sales call nearby. I enjoyed a delicious egg white omelette with hash browns, a cup-o-joe, and a bagel and it was fab. The place is clean and located in the corner of a strip mall. It also has full liquor in case you need some scotch with your eggs. The portions are liberal thus so is the value. Good stuff.

I have been a customer of here since 2011 . I owned a salon across the street and many times we were hungry Farmer Boy was there to the rescue. Charlie was my waitress back then and she moved back to St. Louis . George is always there to greet you with a smile he is a very nice young man. I give them 5 stars because I cant give them 100.

Service is great and the place is a nice, clean, and reasonably priced restaurant. I wasnt impressed with their food, but I had lunch and it looks like breakfast may be their sweet spot. The gyro meat was certainly not fresh or tender (most likely from a frozen bag) and their tziki was far too rich. Soup was ok.
