My experience here has always been great, Its everything I expect from a buffet. But to all those people griping about this place, let me explain something to you from someone who has worked in many restaurants. 1. If you are rude and make a scene at a restaurant about something. Word gets around the entire staff and they are all going to be talking about you, judging you and/or laughing at you. Dont get surprised if you make a scene and this happens to you. 2. If you are complaining about food getting "hard" or "mushy" and saying the food taste like theyve been sitting under a heat lamp. Thats because they are sitting under a heat lamp. Sometimes an item on the line doesnt get used as fast, and after just 10-15 minutes sitting there the texture is going to change. No one is going to replace the item, because you are expecting perfectly refined food at a buffet. 3. Eggs cook very fast, and bacon is naturally greasy. So just sit at your table and patiently wait for the eggs, its breakfast time at a buffet the eggs and bacon are going to go fast. If the bacon is too "greasy" for you than just wait a couple of minutes and the grease will drain off, or dab off the excess. Have you never cooked eggs or bacon? 4. The place doesnt smell rotten, you are over exaggerating. if you are smelling something off, think about the last time you washed your clothes. 5. Steak is naturally seasoned with salt and pepper before cooking, no matter where you go. If you dont like black pepper, then dont eat the steak, ever. 6. If you are complaining that the steak is red, then dont complain that you have to wait longer for well done. 7. Sometimes fried chicken gets under cooked, its not the end of the world. Politely let the manager know, so no one else consumes the chicken. Maybe the oil wasnt up to temperature, but if they dont know then they cant fix the problem. 8. If a server is cleaning up around you, specifically vacuuming or sweeping. Theres a good chance that their shift is over and they are trying to go home. A server is not going to wait until you finish eating to clean up their section, because you find it rude. They are trying to get off the clock so they can get home with their families, and they cant leave until their section is clean. 9. If the price is too expensive for you, then dont go out to a restaurant!!! If you cant afford to tip, then dont go out to a restaurant!!! Giving a lower rating because the price is too high is ignorant and self-centered. You dont know the food cost, you dont know the waste cost, you dont know the labor cost, you dont know the utility cost. All these things are factored into how much you pay.

Really? So much posted drama in the last few reviews. My kids and I went there yesterday. Very friendly folks who are cooking and serving. Very good food, much improved from several other locations I have been over the years. I found a couple of things too spicy and not identified as such, but I just put them away and moved on. The cooks on duty were football fans and we traded preseason issues, both college and pro for the Falcons. One was a M go Blue fan so I had to kid that guy too. You dont get to do that at most places. Tons of variety, fish was very good and plentiful. We went at 5 pm on a Saturday. No issue with crowds lining up either, but plenty of people inside so you could find yourself waiting in line for the pan seared fish for instance. The blue berry muffins were fantastic!! For the price this place rocked. As for service we were between two ladies taking their breaks. We still never waited for drinks. Cant beat that. I did find several things which used to be my fist choice at Golden Corral over the years which here did not suit me. Probably local seasoning adjustments, hot rules here and I dont like it. But I was able to work around that small sample easily so I dont care. From the reviews I see on this page there have been issues in the past. I observed none of them on this day. So I will on occasion when my kids insist return so that they can have the selection that is sought by two teenagers! Lastly this franchise is where I took my youngest after services on Sunday to learn about eating good food. She always wanted the ice cream and I was a single dad so I did not keep it around much. Too tempting for me. So I would take her to a local Golden Corral 3 blocks away and I would tell her she had to eat two helpings of "good food" before any ice cream. She learned to like tons of things which I did not care to learn how to make and to this day she eats her veggies with out too much trouble. From my observations she eats good food much better than many of her age! No longer single, I thank goodness for that time spent teaching her to eat good food. Kids were very high on the desserts! Well worth the drive from LOL.

Food: You are not going to get Michelin star quality food at a bargain buffet. With that said, the salad bar was nothing spectacular but it was fresh. The man at the grill cooking the steaks was spot on when I asked for a mid-rare 6oz cut (temp & size) but the ribs were soggy and full of fat (and not the tasty gristle many love, the slimy textured chub fat.) The rest of the food was a gamble. Some of the less popular side dishes looked like they had been sitting out since lunch. The Fried chicken was over cooked and then dehydrated under the lamps. The sweet potatoes were repulsive and regular mash had a strange taste and texture. Atmosphere: This place was a disaster. I do not know what the maximum number of people fire regulations allow in this place but it is way to many at the food bars at once. At any given time there were 40-70 people crammed together at the food stations. I saw no less than 3 kids and one elderly person knocked over in the crowds (and no staff assisted any of them). While the kids were eating desert, my wife went to use the restroom and returned stating that she would hold it to because it was so unsanitary. I called this issue to the attention to a member of the staff and she apologized profusely. However, she immediately brought this to the attention to a supervisor or manager and that manager immediately glared over at our table as if she was about to flip us off. The staff member raised her hands, as if to say, hey, i tried and walked into the kitchen. The same supervisor or manager stared us down as we exited, as well. Service: Was poor. Plates on tables at times stacked higher than the people sitting at the tables and beverages were empty, unless you were drinking water or tea. I asked for a refill of my rootbeer twice and never received more than my initial 6 oz of rootbeer mixed with 10 ounces of ice. They had plenty of staff but not enough people tending to the tables. Even as crowded as the place was, there was a constant crowd of 6 or more staff members hovering around the cashier pit. Better management and crowd control would make this place acceptable but for now I would advise to stay away.
