This used to be a great place to have Colombian fast food, but I went there last night and the quality of the food was terrible. To start the cheese in the Hawaian empanada is not even the mozzarella cheese that it used to come with, it is some type of cheap cheese that tasted terrible. The fresh fries were not even fried properly, actually they were still frozen. The worse part was the hotdog. The cheese on it was completely cold not melted like it was supposed to be, It doesnt even come with the pineapple sauce anymore, that sauce was replaced by some sort of sweet sauce???, with mysterious ingredients that tasted terrible (why they replaced the pineapple to begin with???). They gave me the bottle of pineapple sauce to put on the hotdog and it was completely liquified (not kidding), in fact it was completely watery. I will not be coming back again because it is unacceptable how they could sell such low quality food. But please DO NOT BELIEVE ME!!!! Go and see it for yourself or should I say taste it????

This was is one of the favorite Colombian fast foods in Tampa, but recently the food quality has gone down. I went by last night, my food sucked. It was cold ! usually the owner is there and i thers never a problem, but i guess when the busness gets good, the owners tend to not b there. I ordered the arepa with everything, which is my favorite. the cheese was cold, it wasnt even melted and i only had 3 pieces of arepa in my entire order! now come on, where is the quality ? I think he needs to remember that the customers now have choices! and if the food quiality is not there anymore, i will have to try another fast food joint!

It is very hit or miss with this fast food joint. I would definitely recommend the hamburgers and a safe option to order. I would not recommend their "picada familiar" which of cuts of several different meats such as pork steak and chicken. The last one we ordered was very disappointing. Unusually long pieces that were cut, and it seem like the last one we ordered had a less variety. Since I have been a loyal customer of their I would still recommend their other options just not their picadas.

i love this place. i go there at least once a week. i like their ribs, but what i always end up getting is the chicken kabob with potato and salad. its the best $5 meal in town....also...the red hot sauce that is made there is incredible. one of the best hot sauces i have ever had. they have great hours too catering the late night crowd. i work in the clubs so this is a plus for me.... keep up the great work el chuzo

I love this food. We saw El Chuzo BBQ on TV a few years ago and have been fans ever since. The patacon (with beef or chicken) is my favorite, but I also like the hamburger with pineapple, and their beef empanadas. I keep saying Ill try some other items but I never do, and stick with the couple of dishes I know I like. Adventurous eaters will be in heaven here.

This was my favorite place to eat until today. The chicharrón i threw it away no meat the hot dogs had no sauce and they didnt had bacon in it. Arepa was stale. Am not sure what happen to their food it use to be delicious be dissapontment and they didnt event sent napkins or sauces on the side.i guess we have to order napkins and sauce for next time.

I used to come here about 3 times a week and their food was delicious! For the past months the love that they used to put in their food is gone. Fries are stale, arepas are falling apart and halfway done eating it you feel so nasty. Sometimes being popular and more money isnt always better since the quality in everything goes down.

First time my boyfriend and I came was by luck. It was one of the few places open this late and what a find! This is our second time and once again it did not disappoint. It was super delicious, fresh, and our food came out within minutes. We live 4 hours away and made sure to come by after a long exhausting time in Busch Gardens.

Honestly, one or the best places to eat after the club... Not the healthiest food but so damn tasty! Also, at night, u can glance at all the hot colombian girls that come in. Theres also security at all times.

El Chuzo has the best steak sandwich ever...it will blow your mind! They cover it in cheese and potato sticks. Its inexpensive and completely amazing! Their empanadas are pretty awesome too!
