Square1 gets four stars because the ambiance and service were excellent. The food was also pretty good, though it left a little to be desired. My wife ordered a buffalo burger medium, and it came out with a not-quite-warm pink center. Definitely on the raw side of rare. However they were quick to refire it for her, and we even got an unrequested visit from the manager with an apology. I ordered the sunrise burger, also medium. While the burger came out closer to well done than medium, the egg was absolutely perfect. In my experience getting a perfect over medium egg for a burger is something Ive gotten only a few places. They usually come with either the yolk verging on solid or completely solid, or with some runny white still. Mine was excellent. The bacon on my burger was also excellent. Nice and thick with excellent flavor. Between the two of us, my wife and I agreed that the biggest flaw, and the only reason Im not rating a full five stars, is that the meat was rather bland. Even a dash of salt added in the mix would have helped bring out the flavor. Instead the patties (both my Angus, and her buffalo) were extremely bland, though also excellently juicy. Overall, we will be back, and hopefully when we have a little more cash to try their X-Rated shakes!

If you are going to charge someone 15 bucks for a hamburger, you should damn well better make it right. I dined in there on a Saturday around 7:30 and the place was dead, should have been my first warning considering everything is busy in Brandon at dinner time. I ordered the Buffalo burger, medium rare, and received a well done burger, with old cold onion rings on top of it, a cheese sauce that was thin as water, and my favorite part burnt fries that were cold (exceptional achievement there guys). My wife had a soup and salad that made her ill, and after reading through some reviews she isnt the first. Food runner forgot half the food in the kitchen and then took his time going back for it, he also looked as if he has not showered or washed his clothes in days. You also serve beer in the wrong glasses, American and English IPAs are served in a pint not a tulip glass.

Went there tonight and my sister reserved the private room, (no more than 20 of us) the food was good but the service SUCKS!!!!! The lady went to everyone else in the room and got their drink order (not my table though) then finally after returning the third time she FINALLY came and got our drink order, meanwhile my nephew didnt have a drink throughout the whole wait and meal. Then that was the last we saw of her. TWICE did I have to go to the bar (where the bartender had a horrible attitude) and get my own soda and water mind you, I just had surgery and am on crutches and even then no one offered to help me carry my drink and I passed a manager who I watched walk around to the tables to make sure their meals were good but never came to visit us in the back room and 2 waiters and prices and crazy high, almost $60 for two ppl!!!! I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

You almost feel dirty enjoying food this much. Its sexual. You bite into that kobe beef patty and the way it melts in your mouth is reminiscent of some freakish meat cotton candy, if that was a thing. You dip it into the beer cheese or Sooner sauce and the meat cotton candy wraps itself around your tongue in a loving, savory caress. You bite into your fried mac n cheese and as it courses through your arteries, you can only imagine it must be cleaning away all the plaque that all your lesser burgers of meals past left strewn about your blood vessels. Nothing that tastes this good can do anything but bring the world together. The service is always great here. Its usually pretty busy, and you can expect a short wait during any weekend prime hours. Once you try one of their insanely good burgers though, youll understand why.

Gourmet burgers is a huge overstatement. Patties are greasy(I could smell the grease as soon as my plate hit the table) and lacking their own flavor. I ordered their Rise and Shine which comes with bacon, Gruyère cheese, onions and a fried egg on brioche bun. Presentation was meh - I wasn’t excited to dive in. The bun was easily the best part - fresh with good flavor as you would expect from brioche. I sat at the bar and my bartender was very professional and knowledgeable. I was very pleased to find they had a rosé wine on their menu that made this warm summer afternoon a little more bearable. I’ll have to come back at a slower hour(came in at 2pm on a Sunday) and see if the burgers live up to their hype, but for now Square 1 is a step up from the drive thrus but definitely no 5 Napkin burger.

First time customer.Where do I begain. Customer servive was great. Its when I received my $13 ELK burger (which by the way I was told it was "very delicious") I thought OMG! Burger Kings Whopper is 2xs bigger. The cheese was almost invisible and tasteless, no onions or tomatoe. Lettuce (might as well not put any in the burger?), blackberry sauce tasty , but very little for what I paid. If they would of at least added red onion and a thicker slice of cheese with more blackberry sauce to give the burger flavor it would of been good but till this problem is fixed I will try something else on the menu expecting a better tasting burger hopefully. Oh! and the fur on the booth OW! it was poking my back as I leaned back to relax. :(

The one star is because our waitress was pretty decent. I ordered a turkey burger with goat cheese, cucumbers and mayo. The "mayo" was some tasteless, gritty, white paste and I did not get ANY cheese on my burger. The burger was completely tasteless and looked like a frozen patty. I also had a fragment of the toothpick they put in your burger in my burger. Just a slice of it came off. Another member of my tables food was practically the same. No one was impressed with their food for the price. Another member of my table went to the mens room and said a waiter went to the bathroom and DID NOT wash his hands.

Can say enough good things. Been many times to this location. Very few times burgers where not cooked right. Management made it right quickly without me or the wife being upset. Service is great. Once in a while you will have that one server thats needs improvement. But management has seen that also and took care of us. I must say Ive been to many places to eat in tampa. Other places should become more luke this location. Service and customer service. O by the way Greek lamb and buffalo. Always. No its not cheap. Go to the fast food chains for that and wonder what kind of meat your eating.

I will eat here again, but I wouldnt go out of my way for it. I ordered the Angus BBQ bacon burger, medium. It came out more well done than anything, wich is not a big deal for me. The burger was good but not impressive, same with the fries, nothing really stood out. (Since I have been writing this I noticed that it had a real sesame seed bun, which is different) The staff was great! Management checked to make sure all was well, food came out quick, music was not to loud, environment as a whole was great! However for a burger that cost just shy of $13, I would expect to be more impressed.
