We decided to give them another try. So upon our arrival my wife was about to pull open the door when a waiter comes busting out the door to talk to someone almost knocking my wife down. He did apologize. We were promptly seated and the chips came in about a minute. It was 9 pm on Saturday and only 4 tables were occupied. Our waiter took our drink orders shortly thereafter. I ordered a water which had a bug in it under the ice! Our food came out 15 minutes after ordering. Again I ordered chicken fajitas. Came out sizzling but the green peppers were severely undercooked. I realized I had no silverware when I went to start eating. By now I think we had 3 or 4 different waiters come to the table. One male server kept addressing my wife as "honey". It still seems that this establishment lacks mature management with all the horsing around going on with the employees. It seems like this place is run more like a bar instead of a restaurant. After getting my check I went up to pay. I handed him my bill for $24. He looked at me and told me it would be $94. I understand he was joking, but at this point I was not amused! Feb 2015 We entered the restaurant waiting to be seated. It took about 3 minutes and finally someone noticed us. He did not walk us to our table. All he did was point us to an empty booth and told us "we can sit there". Its Saturday evening 6pm and the restaurant is about half full. Chip and salsa came to the table quickly, and our order was taken promptly. 30 minutes has pasted and stuffed off 2 bowls of chips wondering where my dinner was. Waiter finally came to the table to tell us that "our food went to the wrong table" and they were going to hurry up and redo it. About 20 minutes later we finally got our food. My fajitas came out not sizzling and barely warm. Not once did I get a drink refill. We waited 30 minutes for our check but the waiter never came back around. We had to ask another waiter if he could get our check so we could finally leave. It took about 10 more minutes then our waiter finally brought it. We normally go to the Amherst location but they were extremely busy so we decided to give this Elyria location a try. What a mistake. You would never know that they were the same place by their service.

I have been here 4 times now, guess I am a slow learner. The food is good and the service is decent but you better take your calculator to figure out your bill. The first 2 times we went we had problems with them not charging the correct prices. So didnt go again for a long time. Third time seemed to go fine and the food was really good. We tried again tonight and I had sticker shock over the bill. The total was 39.57so I questioned it and he brought back a total of $35.81, seems they had added it in correctly. When I questioned the bill again at the register he brought out a menu, wrote down all that we had and OMG came up with a third total!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is if you like the food here then figure out your own bill.

This is one of the few Mexican places I will continually go back to. Staff is always friendly, the food always comes out fast and is delicious. The prices are really good. A couple can dine with two entrees, complimentary chips and salsa and drinks for $20 any night of the week. Highly recommend. ***Side-note - google lists this place on South Abbe road in Elyria, really it is North Abbe directly across from the LCCC Campsu

Its ok if you like white people Mexican food. The staff is alright, the food is just like any other Mexican American cookie cutter. The salsa is basically tomato paste because Americans cant handle heat and the chips are not home made. I do recommend this place for people that like Mexican American food. If you want Mexican Mexican food, you gotta go to a hole in the wall.

Love the food, love the service, and love the workers! Our family tries to make it here at least once or twice a month. Every birthday is pretty much celebrated here too. After reading some of the reviews, I can understand a few of the frustrations, but overall this is a great place to dine for delicious, decently priced Mexican food. & the Margaritas are phenomenal .

We love Don Tequilas, but for some reason the service has dropped off the last three times. Everyone is friendly, but there seems to be confusion as to who takes....what orderschips, drinks, food.... at what tables, leaving us unattended for service. Food is great and drinks are always good.

My dad and I got here an hour before close and they still treated us amazing. Margarita pitchers are excellent, food is served in large portions, queso dip is solid, and the patio area is great. The inside is also decorated in authentic bright Mexican decor.
