To be fair I have not eaten here but since I have seen so many reviews of people talking about how "clean" and good their food is I think its only right to let people know that this place has many health violations against them. It has been previously closed down for extremely disgusting things such as live maggots, rodent feces and others.

The lantern is the best Chinese food in town, until recently... Im disappointed. I dont know if they changed their recipe or what but every dish we ordered last night was not of good standards to keep me coming back. Even their awesome egg rolls were greasy and flavorless last night. Hope this isnt a permanent change.

The place doesnt look like much, but once you sit down, you are treated like family. One thing that stood out to me, was that you could tell that they put care into their food. You can tell that they are proud of it and they want you to love it. I highly recommend this if you want some of the best food around.

Positives: pleasant and friendly. Food was hot and ready when expected. Order was correct and good price for amount of food received. Negatives: beef & broccoli gravy needed to be thicker. Food wasnt particularly flavorful.

We got take out from here several times in the 90s and it was Good! Really good eggrolls. Unfortunately the kitchen staff must have changed because the quality of the food is now poor. Grease laden slop! Never again.
