Last night was our seventh visit to Casimir Bistro over a period of a few years. My husband wanted "Monday night mussels special" with a serving of four small fresh bowls of mussels with different sauces. See their website for details. Each hot, fresh mussels bowl served one at a time with the best fries anyway. The fries are shoestring variety, hot, firm and crisp. I ate their gourmet price fix menu of three dishes for $31.50. Also a large bowl of mussels in one chosen sauce. Our appetizers were gravlox (specially seasoned and aged salmon slices from a traditional Scandinavian recipe). Second appetizer was almond crusted goat cheese salad. Both delicious. Desserts were peach melba on the menu for many years as well as creme brulee. Our son ate chicken fingers which he ate both without hesitation. Casimir is one of the best restaurants in South Florida with incredible high quality and very reasonably priced if you dont request expensive wines. Family owned. BTW, I wouldnt believe one or two negative reviews. One of the owners and manager is always available to make sure your meal is as required and theyll jump to make sure youre satisfied.

When two people walk into an restaurant and they clearly look like they have not been to your establishment before, what do you do? Stare at them and continue to half heartedly do your job. And after they have been standing for a few minutes with no other staff members attempting to service them, then you have your plain clothes worker approach them to be seated. After being seated with menus in hand, we began to look over them. Two minutes pass, another couple comes in (clearly regulars or friends), they are seated immediately told the specials of the day. Two more minutes pass and we see a waitress with waters coming towards us. Nope. Headed to the table with the people who came after us. More waiting continued for my wife and I. Nearly approaching 10 minutes without having our drink requests taken. So we got up and left. I would not recommend this place to my enemy, let alone a friend. It seemed like we didnt receive service because we dont look like their typical customers. Would rate it below 1 star but that wasnt an option.

My husband went there last Friday night. We just walked around the area and liked the atmosphere of this place and decided to eat her. The atmosphere is nice and what you expect from a bistro. Our waitress was very attentive, however, the person who served our food was very rushed and abrupt. Our waitress made up for him though. The food was good, not great but good. We got the fixed menu. I got the wild salmon and my husband got the NY strip. Mine was very good, my ceasar salad was dry and I had to ask for more dressing. My husbands onion soup was very good. his strip steak was fair but what I would expect here (It is not a proper steak house). Overall we liked it and would go back. I find it hard to find a place in Boca that has some character to it.

My husband and I have been to Casimir three times and each time the food was consistently excellent. The fare is fresh and the salad and other meals exquisite. Presentation lovely and staff more than friendly. I felt relaxed and content to be in such a lovely setting. The staff is international and the owners are from Paris, so they know what it takes to make French food American style. When one thinks of French food, however, it seems to conjure up heavy and thick sauces. This is far from that. Very healthy and lovely. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Bon apetit, mon amis! (Excuse my lack of knowledge of French!)

If youre nostalgic for a true French bistro, this is the place! And if its nice out sit on the patio - its just like sitting out on the boulevard in Paris. Come to this restaurant to eat good food, have a glass of wine and relax. The appetizers, especially the onion soup and foie gras, are fantastic. The entrees are good, too, but we generally get the specials because they are usually so different from the dinner fare found in restaurants. The red fish last week was really exceptional. They have real cremé brulee! And if youve never had a peach melba I recommend it highly. Enjoy!

Nice atmosphere with comfortable upholstered banquettes - we loved our corner table. The salmon entree was perfectly portioned and prepared, fresh sauteed spinach, layered potatoes were delicious - the mussels were barely cooked and had lots of garlic and broth for dipping very crusty baguette - exceptionally good bread. Even though it was simple, my husband devoured the Peach Melba. Prix fixe really is a nice deal. We will definitely be back as we had a lovely evening!

We love this place and have never been disappointed in a meal. The onion soup and the pomme frittes are sensational . Dorice and Laurent are charming hosts and service is attentive. A $25.99 three course dinner special is an amazing value (although many items add a dollar or two to the bottom line) and choices such as moules and steak are always excellent. Casimir has an authentic bistro feeling to it. Friends who have lived in France laud this place as well.

We had dinner with another couple at Casimir earlier this week. It was first rate in every respect! The food was excellent. The service was very good. The waiters wine selection was just right. The atmosphere on the terrace was pleasant and relaxing, permitting easy conversation. Boca Raton has dozens of restaurants of all types. But, for an enjoyable dining experience, it is clear that Casimir will quickly become one of our favorites!

My wife and I have been patronizing Casimir Bistro since we discovered them about five years ago. We have always been served with friendliness and fine french food. The natural ambiance in royal Palm Plaza adds to their own unpretentious style. We highly recommend. You will enjoy!

Had a great diner here. Although prices are quite steep and the three course menu they offer even require additional payment for some options. Salmon and chicken we had was a bit on the dry side. Service is great by the way, very friendly, polite and know what they are doing.

Arriesgarse con el sweet bread es imprescindible si visitas este lugar, la comida en general es muy buena y el servicio también
