Partly due to my great love for Chipotle Barbacoa, it has been at least 5 years since I tried a Tijuana Flats Burrito. Its not that I thought they were bad. They just didnt impress me that much. I broke from that routine today, and I am glad that I gave them another try. I ordered the Steak Megajuana with queso, loaded with all the fillings. The steak was a little salty, but you could tell that everything in the burrito was fresh, filling, and had good flavor. Their salsa bar has improved quite a bit from what I remember, too. My favorite was their mustard habanero salsa. The service was great, and the staff were extremely helpful for a fast food type restaurant. Will Tijuana Flats become my go-to place for burrito cravings? Probably not... but it is a not too distant second that I will go back to visit regularly for a change of pace from my normal Barbacoa.

The Flats is one of my go-to, favorites. Ive been a patron for more than a decade now, and I cannot recall any experience ever being disappointing. The food is good, the atmosphere is good, every location. The crushed ice is one of the signature things here, and the variety of hot sauces. My 2 choices for meals are either the Blackened Chicken Chimichanga with queso on the side (trust me, dont have it "wet," ask for it on the side and pour it on yourself), or the Dos Tacos (blackened chicken with fully loaded. This is a great local place that has had the success of franchising out to many locations.

This was my first visit to this particular location, and I enjoyed it just as much as the one off of Wekiva Springs Rd. Im not sure if the gentleman who waited on us was the manager or a regular employee. Either way, he sure seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Bangin Chicken Burrito, and I doused my chips in sweet chili sauce. My wife had the chicken quesadilla. We were both happy. Well have to come back for Taco Tuesday.

The service and food were amazing ...I was greeted with a friendly smile i wasnt sure what to get but the young lady behind the register was beyond helpful and gave me great recommendation I received my food with little to no wait and the food was spot on I got 3 hard shell tacos 1 blackened chicken (which was the young ladys recommendation) 1 beef and 1 steak and out of all 3 the blackened chicken was my favorite

I had their no-burrito, which is essentially a burrito bowl. It had a good taste to it, but what stood out the most is their hot sauce bar. They have a table full of different flavored hot sauces that range from many different levels of heat and flavor to choose from. Atmosphere was nice as well, lots of graphics on the walls and different from your typical Mexican restaurant

I come here every Tuesday for their Taco Tuesday deal. I like their tacos a lot, especially when I get soft, flower tacos grilled. By having them grilled it melts the cheese. There are frequently not enough seats during lunch time on Tuesdays, but other than that, I enjoy this location a lot.

The restaurant is always clean, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the order is correct. I was picking up dinner between jobs and dropped my wallet one of the staff found it and return it to me. Glad to know there are still honest people out there. Job Well Done Thanks again!

Decent food, but Altamonte location always weak on cheese portions and upcharges for EVERYTHING even if you take off other comparable items (take off guac/add sour cream) and service sub-par to other area TJ Flats.... sadly disappointed. Huey Magoos located next door is calling...

Another restaurant cow-tows to sharia. Went here for Taco Tuesday as was informed they no longer sell carnitas due to lack of sales... Really? Another restaurant to blacklist. Chilis is pulling this same stunt. Chipotle doesnt seem to have a problem selling pork.

They messed up my order, the manager wants to charge my order, I spent $50 worth of food, Im not paying to back up there to get more food, the staff there screwed up. The manager better give people free food for customers messed up food. #AntiTijuanaFlats

This place is OK, I love Tijuana flats on University, and I think they set standards for all the other Tijuana flats; This Tijuana portions are not as half as big as the other stores; Dont wanna pay full price for half a meal; Not coming back here;

While a little crowded on Tuesday nights, because of their awesome Tijuana Tuesday special, the servers are friendly and the food is made to order and arrives fast. Other nights are less crowded but the same great service and food.

Poor customer service, would not recommend. Would not refill queso for a order of chips and queso. Supplied too many chips but not enough queso. Other locations do this free of charge. Should be ashamed of themselves
