So excellent delivery time in less than 15 mins to the Kennedy Center. The downside was the food. The fried rice was gross, and looked like they dumbed half a bottle of soy sauce on it and it came in the smallest container ever. The General Tso Chicken was ok at best. The chicken was mushy. I see a lot of great rewievs though so I will try it again working under the assumption that it was kind of crap because they were super busy due the 4th and precooked food so they could get it out faster. Though I honestly would have rather waited another 20 mins for better quality food.

Magic Gourd is a main-stay for myself, colleagues and friends. They are never too crowded, always friendly, and the food is consistent. They are also family-friendly, which is always something I seek in places I choose to support. The gold floor to cieling blinds are quite a sight to see, the staff is friendly and helpful, and anything that is not quite right is addressed quickly. I would recommend this place, especially for early evening and weekend dinner as you could have the restaurant to yourself since the lunch crowd brings in the most traffic.

Place is nearby Foggy Bottom and food is pretty good. Ive only ever had the General Tsos and its pretty good. Staff is friendly and service is pretty good. If there were a 3 1/2 rating I would probably rate it that.

I have been here a few times, only because I live a few blocks away. Service is pretty decent, but the food is a disappointment. The chicken dishes seem to be made from the wrong parts of the chicken and can be greasy.

Went here for a going away party. I ordered chicken fried rice. It was good. I was shocked when my portion of the bill was $15 for a small plate of fried rice and a soda. They also offer a buffet.

Amazing food and staff. Its hidden away from all the stores and its a bit of a walk from the linkin memorial but its worth it. At first you may get confused but thay will explain.

Out of the way neighborhood Chinese restaurant tucked into bottom of building. Not exceptional but good. Nice to get away from busy-ness of downtown restaurants.

Everything is just OK. The food is neither good nor bad in any memorable way. Unfortunately its probably the best option for Chinese food in the area.
