Seoul Food is owned by the sweetest couple who once owned a food truck before they grew their roots in wheaton. Seoul food is located within a gas station--but dont let that fool you. The interior has a mom and pop feel; with art pop on the walls and signage with beautiful typography. On good days, you can find a good book from the book share or pore through the photos on the walls. The owner knows me personally-- I usually get the Firecracker chicken (totally recommend) with a cup of green tea. The sauce is to die for, mild, and is a good mix of hearty and leafy greens. Overall, great place, local feel, delicious, with a focus on sustainability (bring your own container to save more). Definitely one of the top places to eat in Wheaton.

This is my second time here. I came 2 days in a row. The first day, I got the Super Bibimbap with pork and chives. They ask you if you want it mild, medium or spicy. I got mine medium. It was full of flavor aling with the spiciness. Today, I got the Nirvana Japchae and added chicken. Its so yummy, you dont even really need meat. The Nirvana mix has tofu and cashews in it. Even if you dont like tofu or cashews, I bet youll like this, because they add a nice texture to the mix. If youre partial to rice, you might prefer the Bibimbap. If youre partial to noodles (me), youll love the Japchae. ...And they sell 3 different kinds of homemade (vegan) Kimchi!!

This is a wonderful hole-in-the-wall!! The restaurant is located in the Tiger Mart of the Exxon at the corner of University Blvd and Georgia Ave. It is beautifully decorated and has that homey, welcoming feel to it as soon as you walk in. There were bowls and platters of food sitting on the counter, for a visual reference when ordering. Theres also a lot of baked goods available for purchase as well. I ordered the firecracker chicken and cucumber super bibimbap. It was so delicious. The food wasnt very hot (temperature-wise), which was different since Ive only ordered dolsot bibimbap in the past, but it was still perfect.

One of the greatest meals Ive ever had in my life. I frequent a lot of "hole-in-the-wall" type places, but good God is this one of the best. Located inside of a gas station, this small family owned business is run by a husband and a wife who love to cook. This place was PACKED, and for good reason. Ive never had Korean-fusion before this, but if it all tastes this good then man Ive been missing out. I dont want to ruin the experience for any of you, so go in blind and enjoy yourselves like I did. You wont regret it. The world needs to know about Seoul Food!

I love this place! So many vegetarian options! They really care about vegetarians here. And I love their sustainable/responsible attitude. Ive loved almost everything Ive gotten (bimbimbops are AMAZING, croquettes are amazing, delicious Kim chi. Only thing I didnt enjoy too much was the summer sprouts bibimbop, it was too mushroomy for me.) Their ginger honey tea with grapefruit and maple lemon cookies are to die for! And the owners are really sweet people who obviously take pride in their work.

Seoul Food is one of the best kept restaurant secrets in the DC area! Even after moving from Silver Spring to Northern Virginia, I still hop in my car and drive 45 minutes each way to come here frequently. Ive brought many friends and family to Seoul Food. They all absolutely love the unique and delicious cuisine. Owners are friendly and a staple of the community. Will keep coming here as long as I live in the DC area!

Ridiculously awesome food. Each bite you take feels fresh and prepared with so much love. The place is in a gas station! Super cool concept and decor but may be a limitation when coming with a group. Also, if you bring your container it is a 50 cent discount. I tried the steak and shittake bowl which was awesome and hubby did the burrito bowl with kimchi and avocadoes, a delish combo. Will be coming frequently!

Food is certainly good, but the woman owner has a snippy attitude. If you ask her to explain the extra item that goes into their "super" plate, she condescends on you. Other places with similar quality cooking, but with better attitude and service. Do not recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant. I have been coming here since they started this place. This used to be a good truck in DC. They have the best Korean fusion food. The food is simply amazing. If you are in this area then you should visit this place.

Awesome. You got to try them once...its in a gas station that might make you think twice...we did for awhile, but then we decided to give it a try....so glad we did. Great food. Great desserts. Great owners. Its hard to say which one we like more!

Small Mom and Pop restaurant with many vegan and vegetarian options for Korean fare. Super bulgogi was flavorful and well-portioned. Be sure to check the location, as you enter through a convenience store to access this small restaurant.

Cant speak to the food but I was chased out like a stray dog by a woman when I walked in to check out the menu while they were closed between lunch and dinner. She was short with me and very rude. I wont be buying anything from here....

It is way overpriced, and I dont mind paying for good food, but it is definitely not good enough and costs almost $15 for an entree in a tiny, hot hole-in-the-wall place. 16 oz. teas are almost $3! The woman was very rude, too!

Pretty awesome subs or fusion sandwiches to be honest, but that comes with a price. Will need more incentive for me to return for another 12-14 bucks sandwich. Tricky spot but park at the gas station, dont even think twice.

A Korean restaurant in a gas station?! Yes. And it is absolutely amazing! Parking can be an issue, but this place is worth the effort. Be sure to try their homemade drinks too (the cinnamon apple cider is spectacular!).

A tiny place with only 2 communal tables but, man oh man, the food is good! A little pricey because they use fresh locally sourced and organic ingredients. Well worth every penny for this truly "mom & pop" business.

Excellent foof selection, all dishes we tried were amazing. Especially recommend the pork bulgogi, wow. Seating a bit cramped but more than manageable, service fast and friendly. Ambiance two thumbs up.

This little gem is tucked away inside the gas station store in the corner of Georgia and University Ave. All their dishes are freshly made daily. Their desserts are also freshly made and a must have!

This place is a hidden gem! Everything Ive had here has been amazing. You can park in the gas station behind the restaurant. Dont be afraid to try their spicy food, it isnt out to hurt you.

Service is great and friendly and the food is just an explosion of flavors, and the fact that they support local farmers and use no artificial ingredients is a huge bonus. A must go.
