This restaurant is an utter joke. Whilst attempting to seem upmarket, they are anything but. My party had a most disastrous experience at Touch of Italy-- Problem 1: my friend had ordered the eggplant parm sub, and was brought a chicken parm sub-- the waiter limply offered that they were out of eggplant. Problem 2: My roasted brussels sprouts were supposed to be served with lemon zest and pine nuts- both of which were omitted from the dish-- I received a charred cast iron skillet of greasy sprouts sans seasoning. Problem 3: My partners sub was only half sauced and miserably dry. and finally, the piéce de resistance, Problem 4: my partners friend was served a sub WITH A BITE TAKEN OUT OF IT. when I stopped the server who brought out our food, and pointed out the OBVIOUS BITE taken out of the sandwich, she wordlessly skirted the dish back to the kitchen. Minutes pass, nothing. No one comes to apologise, explain, etc. His sub was ultimately comped, and he eventually received another sub. We spend a lot of time and money in Delaware. Well spend our money at Nectar next time, because this place is disgusting.

Excellent fresh food! We are vegetarians, and there are a lot of good vegetarian choices on the menu. Their tomato basil sauce with barre pasta, the cheese raviolis and gnocchi were all perfectly made. Their canolis were good too! We were there for an early dinner around 6:30 pm, and the place does get crowded. Its a small deli like place which serves fresh italian food. They do not take reservations, and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. The wait was well worth it.

I was in need of tipo 00 flour for pizza dough making from scratch and found Touch of Italy has the Caputo 00. I called ahead and they called me back to let me know if that they had the flour. Its nice to see this kind of personalized service, you dont see much of that with the big box trend for stores. This has a mom and pop feel when you walk in. Everything looks so good. I will be back again for the desserts and cookies. Thanks Touch of Italy.

Decided to get pizza here for take out because its "touch of Italy" so I assumed they knew how to make pizza. Have never been so wrong in my life. Waited 45 min for the worst 2 12 in pies Ive ever had the unfortunate experience of spending $27 on. What a disgrace to the name of Italy. But we are in Lewes, DE sooo guess I shouldnt expect much. Absolutely never going back for anything. They need to seriously reevaluate ....

Got some take out sandwiches here for lunch. We got the eggplant parmesan and italian combo sandwiches, both which were delicious! The bread is the perfect italian bread crunchiness on the outside with a soft inside and they give a generous serving of italian cold cuts. Ill definitely come back here again when visiting Lewes Beach.

Diane had been wrapping for a few hours; the house was good, it was time to venture out. I looked up a good local and we headed off to Touch of Italy. The calamari was exceptional; Diane had her cheese pizza & I had the tagliatelle; delicious. Lemon wedding cookies for afters and our night was replete ;)

By far the best meal I had in Lewes! Charming and aromatic setting. The Pasta y Pisselli (?) is comforting and stick-to-your-ribs. The White Pizza was crispy and carefully prepared. Awesome Antipasto. All dishes were not unnecessarily complicated, with fresh and flavorful ingredients.

We have always had positive experiences when stopping in for food or sweets. My toddler son and I went in today to purchase cookies and one of the staff members helping us let my son try one of the cookies he was pointing out. Delicious food with exceptional service.

Vacationing north of Lewes. Found that there was no wait on Saturday night. Food was fabulous. Returned again on Wednesday. Food was, again, fabulous. Sat at same table and had the same waitress, Stephanie. She was fabulous, too.

The aromatic experience took me right back to Grandmas house with sauce simmering. Atmosphere was wonderful. Food was mouth watering! Prices are great for a beach location. Cant wait to return and try another dish!

We visit Lewes every year and I make sure to load up on their incredible sopressata. Not sure but I think they might make it in house. The assortment of Italian cookies are great as well.

Five star food, but carry out always takes an extra 20-30 minutes over what they quote on the phone. Doesnt matter what time or what day. Their oven only holds two pizzas at a time.
