My boyfriend and I discovered this place while we were shopping in Delaware. Weve returned and will do so again. Worth the drive from Philadelphia, its that good! My favorite ice cream flavors have peanut butter in them, but I prefer a vanilla base to my ice cream. Fortunately, they have two options for peanut butter lovers: The chocolate chip peanut butter swirl is the best! It has a vanilla base and big, creamy swirls of peanut butter. You can tell its not factory made because youd never get such big chunks of peanut butter. If youre more of a chocolate peanut butter lover, they have that option too. Ive tried them both and theyre so good. Creamiest ice cream, tons of flavors and toppings, reasonable/competitive pricing, and a nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy on a summer day!

Whats good : The best ice cream parlor in whole of Delaware. Awesome friendly staff and no wonder the place is equally crowded, people even queue up with umbrellas in rain to get their share of ice cream. Never seen that anywhere else. Best flavors cappuccino crunch, cotton candy, raspberry n mango sorbets. I would rate the freshness and flavor above Hagen das or Ben n Jerrys. Whats not : They accept on cash or check but there is a ATM inside, place is very small and you might have to wait in queue outside sometimes. But you will forget all that once u let the fresh ice cream melt in ur mouth.

LOVE this place and I have been coming here since before I was born. That being said, the service, or rather complete obliviousness, I experienced tonight was horrible. Along with my rather large dog, I stood at the side window for 20+ minutes, while employee after employee ignored me. Both inside and outside! I attempted to get someones attention multiple times before just deciding to leave. Even if the window was closed, no one wanted to acknowledge me. Because I was by myself, with a dog, I was hoping that someone could accommodate me through the window. Instead I was invisible.

If you love Ice creams, then look no further. Fresh farm made ice creams in a variety of flavors. I went there for the first time during their Ice cream festival. Got to see how they prepare their ice creams and a lot of other interesting stuff. I love the benches in the lawn near the entrance. A very good place to sit and enjoy an ice cream with friends and family. I believe they only accept Cash here though. The place looks beautiful over all and now for the main part, their Ice creams rock! You can get take aways or you can enjoy a scoop or a cone right there.

My favorite flavor is Motor Oil! Not only is this the BEST ice cream in all of Delaware, this is a beautiful farm -- one of the states oldest, officially honored as a Centennial Farm for more than 100 years of continuous farming -- and the current generation of the family that has had the place since the 1700s couldnt be nicer! Anyone who has kids or out-of-town/out-of-state guests should take them to Woodside Farm for a visit theyll never forget. Love, love, LOVE this place!

I work with a restaurant that serves Woodside ice cream, I tried their "peanut butter & jelly" and was at the farm the next day to pick up a gallon! Unfortunately, all flavors are not available all of the time, which was NO problem whatsoever considering the flavor selection on the premises (peanut butter & chocolate swirl somethin-somethin sufficed greatly). personally, their ice cream is comparable only to Kings in Milton & Lewes.

Better have an off-road 4X4 to get in or out of this place. They either dont care about the customers vehicles or their really cheap. The stone driveway is rutted and in horrible condition. If you have to enter or exit quickly, due to heavy traffic, you might tear up the bottom of your car, ruin your tires and or the front end alignment. We wont be going back

Delightful little farm that serves their own ice cream. Very family friendly in the summer, although you have to wait in line for a while to get served. The ice cream is very good; however, the taste does not differ that greatly from one choice to another. All sorts of sizes, choices and toppings are available.

Great, delicious homemade ice cream that cant be beat. Definitely try the more exotic flavors they make! Black raspberry is always a solid choice for the less adventurous. Prices are based on weight but definitely fair and affordable. Only downside is lack of indoor seating

Heard about this place on TV so during a road trip, we had to detour to try it and it was so worth it! Bacon ice cream had real pieces (chunks!) of bacon, nicely seasoned, flavorful vanilla base. omg. Shame I didnt have a cooler to bring pints back home!

Suberb ice cream grown and made on site! You cant get it any fresher than this. Famous for all the standard flavors plus fancy ones like tomato and bacon. I have known Joe and his son Jim for many years. Great honest men who are lifetime dairy men.

If you go during a peak time (weekend evening) consider bringing a blanket to sit on. The ice cream is so good! They move the line along quickly and the staff is very friendly. Remember to bring cash! But thete is an atm there as well.

Delicious ice cream made on site. A+ service. Host many family friendly events throughout the season. Line can get a bit long, but worth the wait. Landmark Delaware location. Obligatory dating milestone. Family ice cream trip.

Terrific ice cream, and the only place Ive ever seen that has a pretzel cone - excellent paired with the bacon or sea salt caramel ice cream flavors. Plenty of seating outside. Very, very popular during the summer.

I love ice cream full of preservatives dont you? I mean where do these cows come from that its so important that the ice cream lasts 12 days longer. No thanks Ill pass. Breyers has healthier IceCream by far.

Best ice cream you will ever eat in your life, period. Has been featured on CNN as top 10 ice cream in America, yup its THAT good. Fresh from cows on premises. Also great if you like waiting in lines :)

My absolute favorite ice cream spot! Great unique flavors which change with the seasons. Plenty of picnic tables and you can see the farms cows there as well. Can get crowded on hot days!

By far the best Ive cream Ive had and with a wide variety of flavors. Black raspberry chip and turtle are some of my favorites, but you really cant go wrong with any flavor.

This is my faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite ice cream ever! You have to try butter brickle! This ice cream is really a legacy. I will remember this as an adult foe shizzle.

Incredible ice cream place, completely worth your time even if you are just passing through Delaware. Located on a lovely farm property just outside of Wilmington.
