I am addicted to their ice cream. I am on the faculty at UD and my daughter is an undergraduate. We have a family tradition - whoever is driving on 896 must stop and pick up at least a quart or they will be shunned for a week. Quite seriously, their ice cream is smoother and more flavorful than any of the national (or boutique) brands. It is never icy, never hardens up into congealed goo in the freezer and keeps its flavor fresh and alive for the very few days before the last spoonful has been savored - and then it is time to go back for more...

The ice cream is good! The service not so much. Ive been here twice in the past month and both time my order needed to be repeated several times (chocolate milkshake, 2 scoops of cookie and cream) I was giving a milkshake over flowing and running down the sides and my to go ice cream with out a lid. If you dont mind having to be very patient with the woman there to ensure an accurate order than I would say come here because the ice cream is good!

Best ice cream in Delaware. The line is always long so be prepared to wait and check their hours on their website because they dont update on Google for their seasonal hour changes. Other than that enjoy. Also, take a walk down the road into campus when youre done. See the cows and walk the paths through gardens and trails. Take your ice cream with you.

My boyfriend is an all time ice cream lover and he said this was the best ice cream hes ever had. We tried Junk in the Tree Trunk and were not disappointed with being able to taste each flavor on its own but then a perfect blend of them altogether. Waffle cone was beyond good, too. All profit goes to students, which is also great!

Always a smile on the face of whoever is serving us. Fun flavors. Nicely stocked freezer for take-away. Over the years theyve done a fantastic job with making the green area outside welcoming to folks who want to sit and enjoy the treats. The fact that nearly everything they serve the food in is biodegradable - thats awesome.

Great place to have ice cream with variety of awesome flavors . Just love this place . Shop is always clean and tidy and they maintain their standards . Some of my best flavors include mango basil , raspberry cheesecake and delaware river mud pie .

It was really good! Very fresh, creamy and tasty, but not that sweet. One scoop is super huge, more than enough for one person. I miss it already! I love the flavors peach green tea and Fig-Goat-a Bout It! made with goat milk.

You have to try their ice cream. We always stop when traveling on 95. Its just a few minutes off the interstate. Its as good as the PSU creamery! They always have unique flavors too.

Best ice cream Ive ever had, hands down. There are so many flavors, my favorite is a fall flavor its maple + caramel ice cream with pecans, called Junk In The Tree Trunk. Try it!
