Always love wawa but had mixed feelings when a long standing family run convenience store was torn down to make room for a wawa, losing some of that hometown charm Hockessin used to have, but on the other hand we now have wawa coffee, but I still wish I could get one of those amazing "Sav-a-cent" subs that put wawa tiny subs to shame, and for less money too, but times change and Ive come to enjoy the wawa. Its a little disorganized with the process of ordering and paying, but most of it is self sevice where you can order your takeout on a tap screen menu and find your order sitting waiting on top the counter 5-10 mins later depending on how busy they are, but I still miss the traditional human contact, and find the wawa subs to come in sizes like Small, extra small, and micro... I just long for the days when a "half sub" was a foot long and was about equal to 3-4 of the largest subs wawa offers, but still its wawa, the foods always good, and this is one of the better locations, so gotta love it... 4 star

Staff is in point and never unfriendly. I believe people work there because they want to, not because they have to. Theres a distinct difference. Also they have all of the things that Ive become accustomed to, like: Stewarts Root Beer, Hoagies, and several varieties of ice cream. Open 24 hours... Whats not to love.

Since the recent renovation to this Wawa location in suburban Hockessin, Delaware, in New Castle County, the store has become cleaner and it has a contemporary vibe. The overall level of customer service has improved and I like visiting here for the fresh made to order sandwiches and scrumptious smoothies!

Nice store to visit. The food was great and was fast to be made. One problem that I had was that they were busy and the lines to pay for your purchases was long. Otherwise good place to visit.
