This is a very busy location. Be prepared to wait if you arrive after 6 for dinner. Its best to have a lighter lunch and arrive at 4:30pm if you desire prime seating and speedy service. The servers are energetic and friendly, and if your order doesnt come to your liking they will do anything they can to correct it. The menu can be a little unclear, for instance I ordered Southern Fried Chicken expecting just a breaded, crispy cutlet, but it was very peppered and too spicy for me to finish. The steak fries made up for it though. They are delicious and my absolute favorite side to order. Overall I will, and have come back here multiple times. Its very family oriented and the atmosphere is unlike any other restaurant in the area.

Told the wait would be 25-35 minutes; got seated in 10; so far, so good. Then came the dirty dinnerware. Then the black thing floating in one of the beverages; got a replacement, but only after reminding the server. Meals finally arrived after a little over 35 minutes. Filet ordered medium well came crispy on the outside, rare on the inside; at least the pets enjoyed it when we got home. Two ribeyes ordered medium well came a little beyond well. Baked potato arrived mashed; the server did offer to replace it, but by then I just wanted to eat. Vegetables were overcooked as well. Was a broiler cook in a very busy steakhouse; its not that hard to get it right. Wont be giving them a second chance....

Sadly, the quality of the food has deteriorated to the point where I dont wish to go again. The steak is good, but most other things on the menu arent very good. I had the chicken fried sirloin, it was quite overdone and the gravy was similar to something you get In a banquet t.v. dinner. My daughter had the bbq chicken, not quite sure what it was seasoned with, but it was unappealing. Its hard to make me not like your food, but youve done it! Finally, the chili is nothing like it used to be, I used to order the chilli every time. No longer, its gross. What happened to you guys?

Horrible experience tonight. Their Call Ahead policy is the WORST!!! Part of our group was delayed in traffic and they refused to seat the rest of us until all were present. This policy caused us to be 15 minutes late for our movie RIGHT NEXT DOOR! In addition, the manager was NOT the least bit concerned or sympathetic AND they over-cooked my steak! I ordered medium rare and they cooked it well done! They took my meal off of the bill but offered NOTHING else in terms of apology or incentive to make me want to go back there. MANAGEMENT IS BAD!!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

The Ribs were excellent! Tender and tasty, fell right off the bone. Peanuts in a metal bucket right on the table were cool. Authentic rustic atmosphere. The service was great, friendly and inviting. We told our server it was our Anniversary last night. They came to our table with a saddle on wheels, my wife got to sit on it while I stood next to her; they announced loudly to the whole restaurant it was our anniversary and had the whole place yell "yeee-haaa" and applaud !!! It was awesome!! Had a great time and cant wait to come back!

The food was good here. Nothing to rave about. The hostess was nice and greeted us when we walked in. The waiter that served us was pleasant. The problem I had was that they dont accommodate large parties. I had a party of 11 people. They had to sit us across from each other. 4 people in one booth 7 in another. It was very hard to communicate with the family when you have people walking back and forth in between your seats. They should of really structured the building to accommodate large parties.

My wife and I ate at TRH in Middletown, De last night. Great food, nice service. The problem was finding the entrance; To get to the parking lot you had to turn onto the road adjacent to where the building is, turn left at the next traffic light and follow a dark, poorly lit road then turn left again to get to the parking lot. There are no signs guiding you in. Long story short, we had much trouble finding the entrance-management needs to erect signs. Otherwise, good dining experience.

The food is great and if it isnt right theyll make it right. The bread is out of this world an so are the ribs. The servers are all nice, friendly, helpful, hard working. I have my favorite I think her name is Jenn. Ive tried most everything on the menu an no where else in the area can you beat the food for value and quality. Yes during dinner hour you have to wait for a table, that says it all right there. So if you dont like The Roadhouse go get yourself a quarter pounder.

The service was poor although the restaurant was almost empty it took a long time for us to receive our meal. I asked for lemon to accompany my water I was told the bar would not slice any more lemon. My son wanted honey mustard sauce for his chicken fingers we were told they were out of that. No management ever came to ask how our meal was.

I asked for medium, it was more medium rare. My friend told me you have to ask for the one above and he was right. The location in Dover is much better with how they make your steaks. Id go again, I just wont get a steak. Other than that, the service was friendly. How they cooked my steak is the reason I knocked a star off.

The service by the waitress and the manager was good, but 3 it of 4 steaks at our table was cooked wrong. In addition, we ordered two kids hamburger meals and the extra little burgers were raw in the middle. If I want a good day steak, I guess Ill have to go up the road aways to get one. Maybe they need chef Ramsey in there.
