First of all the rating is for customer service, or lack of, during a recent visit and not for the food. The food is always great, but CS is lacking in my opinion. Today started with me craving wings during work. I planned on geeting some to go on the way home. I work about 25 minutes away and called in to place my order just to be put on hold for about 7 minutes and then disconnected. I called right back to be placed on hold again and disconnect around the same amount of time. The 3rd time I call I asked for the manager and was placed in hold yet again while I drove the last 6 or 7 minutes to the location. While I was still on hold I walked into the store and asked to speak to the manager. Before he came out, he answered me on my cell phone. I asked him to come out to the floor to speak to me and he did. I explained my store to him and he felt the need to give me excuses on why it happened, never once apologizing or asking hold can he be of assistance to me. His only queston was did I now place my order yet. I did not and left the store. I came home and contacted the Franchise Business Director at Hooters of America via email and still awaiting his reply. 2B continued...

#incompetence #stupid #uncaring #doesntgiveacrap maybe #braindamaged Horrible experience - worst Hooters we have ever been to. Three dudes wanting nothing more than beers and food on a slow crowd day. Seven or eight other guys in the place but the five girls working made no attempts to care enough to take our orders or refill our drinks, or even presenting a bill at the end. We could have walked out and no one cared. We got up and walked towards our waitress who was doing something unrelated to serving customers. She actually said "have a nice day" before we reminded her that we have yet to pay our bill. What a shame. This used to be THE Hooters to go for New Castle County folks. We wont be back until a major managerial change is implemented.

Weve been coming here for 6 yrs. with all 6 of our children. The servers used to be so awesome and knew everyone by name. The food was always good , portions decent and the prices reasonable. Solomon the manager left and it seems to have gone downhill since then. Kids no longer eat free, portions were cut in nearly half ( I had a cheese steak and literally it was ALL bread) the prices went up which would have been fine if they hadnt cut the portions at the same time... the servers arent as friendly ( unless youre a 20 something male who they can flirt with ) very disappointed ... this used to be our every Saturday spot but we will no longer be coming here

Poor poor service. 8 minutes to get a Luke warm draft at the bar. It wasnt even crowded. The dump truck and moped "eye candy" behind the bar just didnt have time. They werent so shy with the regular old pervy guys though. Food was marginal. Stay away from the Daytona wings, you pay extra for less. WTF. I can stay home and get ignored by my wife when I ask for a beer without seeing her old lady bra and panties. This is the self fulfilling prophesy, you treat him cheap, he leaves a bad tip, he is cheap. I say you reap what you sow.

Went there tonight figured I would get some wings there usually pretty good. Not the best but not the worst either but got 10 bread on and they brought out 9 oddball looking pieces of chicken. A couple were normal wings but the others were like scrap parts. Extremely disappointed to say the least. Sat at the bar and it was like I was invisible,left the girl a tip anyway because they cant control everything but I dont believe I will be back. Usually only go there couple times a year but its a 45 min drive.

First of all this place was beyond dirty. However I understand this Is more of a bar atmosphere. There was a drunk guy in the middle of the restaurant, acting like a complete ass. He was trying to do tricks with a barstool while the staff, manager, and other patrons looked on. We sat ourselves and waited 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. The food was actually very good. They never told us about any drink special, or any specials for that matter, until we asked midway of our meal.

So, four of us working stiffs went in for a late lunch and Dallys was all smiles and kindness until we placed our order and then she would roll her eyes every time she walked by thinking we didnt notice. She brought beers but never brought waters we requested. We had to ask for everything at least twice including silverware so, I would say dont waste your time. Of course you might ask why we would go to a Hooters for service, my answer would be thats the last time there.

*UPDATE* The impression I got five months ago was below 1-☆; however, I returned today one my own to read a book and relax and received better service now that I learned to select my waitress better. Katie (my waitress) was a delight and very attentive regardless of the evening rush that poured in around 8:30. A definite improvement upon the squad from five months ago; I hope Im lucky enough to be at her table again.

Food was great... lets just say for our waitress at least she had her push up on because I dont think she was hired for her brains or speed. 15 min after arriving she finally came over to take our food order... menus 1st please, you would like to what? refill my tea with mountain dew... no thinks Ill take the sweet tea. Have never had a waitress like this at any time that Ive stopped in.

Great food, nice setting. I like the outside dining area cause am allowed to smoke. Of course the waitresses are eye candy. Keep in mind that I went with my girlfriend and got into a fit and I did my best to be in my best behavior, which I did, although it did not matter, I would guess that this place simply makes women feel intimidating. I like .

Service was poor, forgot part of my order. Grilled chicken sandwich was not seasoned at all and was very bland, curly fries was over seasoned and under cooked when I finally received them after reminding the girl that she forgot them and that we needed something to eat with as well as napkins! This was my first & last time at this place!

Had a nice dinner. The food was good (My honey had 2 orders of the crab legs, and she devoured them) and I had wings. The fried pickles were awesome. The manager was very visible, and even stopped by our table to make sure things were to our liking. Music was a bit too loud, but otherwise a good experience.

Went there one feeling down , sat the bar thats when this awesome bartender by the name of Tiffany ask me what I was drinking then we began to talk as if we where old friends from high school made me feel at home will definitely make it a point to repeat business with her and hooters
