Despite average reviews, we gave Indian Sizzler a try for take-out on a Saturday night. The food came quickly (we were one of three groups of customers, the two others were dining in), and the host who gave us the food was very nice. When we got home, however, we took out our (supposedly) lamb and shrimp korma, only to find out that the shrimp korma was chicken korma. I called the restaurant and they apologized and said I could come back and get the shrimp korma. He did mention delivery, but it seemed that he wanted me to come back instead. Overall, the food was not the problem. It was just the slip-up that shouldnt happen, especially when the restaurant was not busy. I would give them another shot, but make sure I check the take-out bag before leaving next time.

Indian Sizzler is a wonderful little place. The folks that run it are very friendly and the food is very good. I had the lunch buffet a few times and it was very reasonably priced. Its not a particularly big buffet, there was naan (which was amazing), rice, and 2 kinds of chicken. The food was very flavorful and the atmosphere was good. You cant go wrong doing this for lunch.

Its okay. I understand why their food is bland. That are targeting not just the Indian community but want to give a taste of India to people from different countries who may not be used to spicy food. Good buffet if you want stuff yourself with food.

This place is a wild card. I really love chicken tikka masala. Every time I order it from this place its either really good or horrible. Either way its too expensive to chance a bad experience. I dont gamble so I dont buy food from here. Capisce?

Indian food is all about flavors. No freaking flavor, bland food, dishes has Either too much salty or no salt. Good furniture but not a quite atmosphere for eating. So far Delaware has been disappointing in my quest for quality Indian food.

My husband took me to this place for buffet as I was craving for Spicy indian food. But the dishes are not spicy at all(very sweet) and I was so disappointed. Chicken tandoori is ok. But I dont want to visit this place again.

Got 2 gyros to go. Were used to the Greek festival in Wilm., and although different, these were equally fantastic. Great tasting sauce w/ chunks of marinated lamb n toppings on a pancake like pita bread. Well be back!

I call them to order something and they rushed me soo much and hang up on me. It was soo rude. Then I called Oasis cafe and they were soo nice and kind. I dont recommend and will not choose them again.

Pathetic food, pathetic attitude and every dish served was as per the reputation, pathetic. We were passing by Delaware and took a chance. No customer was in restaurant and now we know why.

Love it. Order from them at least once a week. I usually try different things every time I go. But when I want something I know I like I get the chicken makani or the sag aloo. Delicious.
