I go here about once a week for lunch, since my office isnt too far away. A part of being in this area is the lunch crowds are crazy since its a corporate building area. When it first opened it was actually very good, but lately it has taken a nose dive. Some of the staff are very nice and helpful, but it seems most of the employees who work the food line are miserable. Occasionally there is someone behind the counter making the food who is pleasant and can make a nice burrito. For example, out of 5 visits, one visit I would get a very generous bowl or burrito and good service. But the other 4 times, the bowl or burrito was very small, cheap with the portions or the meat was cold. The bag of chips is getting smaller and smaller as well. The bag i had recently had a handful of chips in there at best. It sucks, because people wanted a chipotle to come to shelton for a while and in the past year or so since it opened, its getting worse and worse.

I frequent this chipotle fairly often since it is one of the only ones around the area I live in. I have to say the food is always superb and the customer service varies depending on who is working. Most of the time good but sometimes not so good. A server by the name of Alex I think is always extremely courteous and extremely attentive to my complicated order. My last visit though I had the opportunity to be served by a blonde girl I think by the name of Olivia. She was rude and skimped me on meat and when I asked her if that was the right amount she rolled her eyes and told me she would charge me for an extra scoop. I will no longer by visiting this chipotle if I see her working and will bring it up with the manager if I am dealt with in this way again.

Im an avid goer of chipotle and go probably two to three times a week. I had the worst experience at this location. Portions were the smallest I have ever seen and the staff was extremely unprofessional and childish. When he finally agreed to give me a little more( for no charge) I was given one cube, yes ONE. This was the manager serving me too! As a college business student this is horrible and the opposite of everything ive learned. It was at that point I walked out in complete disgust. Three levels of managers were in attendance and none of them even stepped in. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. I will never be back again.

I sm a huge fan of Chipotle. I just visited the Shelton CT location. There was one young lady behind the counter in progress with the previous guest. A large line was forming behind me, and there were 3 workers just standing talking about yahoo email. I waited about 3 or 4 minutes until the very busy young lady acknowledged me, and then she called out that she needed support. A fifth the person came from behind and rang up the sale. I am rating 3 stars for poor service and extreme unprofessionalism. The customer is the purpose of the work, not the interruption. Train your help better, or yet, hire people who want to work!

Under cooked beans and rice and ice cold food. The cashier was nice but the food prep staff looks like they are miserable and arent afraid to show it. Customer service is nonexistent. Chips were also stale. I ended up with 1/2 a burrito bowl because the guy making it shorted me. The location in Hamden next to the gap is way better. They have great customer service and the food is cooked the way it should be.

If you cant roll a burrito get another job. I visit this location a few times per week, and its always inconsistent as far as experience, quality of food and service. Managers need to do a better job finding help and training employees. Visiting in the evening I feel like Im bothering the staff based off their vibe they put off. Today I made my last visit to this location. Back to Pancheros it is!

Their food has been good. I get more afraid to go back with every food illness and related recall you read about from one of their locations. Once of the things I prefer to the Poncheros across the street is the additional selection of meat. The other ingredients taste a little fresher as well. Overall its one of the better options for fast food Mexican in the immediate area.

Used to go there twice a week..but they are getting worst by the day..bad services..not fully cooked food ..check the rice and beans..not good..dont know whos the manager?..cant tell..they all do whatever want..see people waiting to be served and they be talking in the back..bullshiting..laughing at the costumers?...instead go to rancheros across the street.

worst chipotle i have ever been to the food was terrible and i had to wait over 15 minutes just to get lettuce in my bowl. I got 6 pieces of steak and the bowl was a disgusting mess.They gave me less than half a scoop of rice and it was crunchy.worst chipotle ever these employees clearly dont know anything.

First time there was last Friday and horrible experience we all got food poisoning from there my 3yr old started and then me and Im 6 months pregnant I would never go there again I even called the health department.. cuz food poisoning kills ppl you better wish we get better.!!!!!!

I must say I love chipotle but this one has terrible customer service... I thought maybe it was just one time but every time I go the people come off as if Im inconveniencing them by coming in... Other than poor service food is OK.. Not best one Ive been too but not worst either

The girl had so much trouble rolling the guy in front of me burrito that by the time she got mine rolled and to me the food was cold most Chipotle are very good So when i go back ill edit if its better
