I have been going to Roma for years and still get excited every time I eat there... which has in some cases been 3 times in one week. The waiters and waitresses know all of their regulars by name, they know their background and talk to you like old friends. If you are a new customer, they make you feel at home and more than welcome. It isnt a cheap restaurant, but most people know that walking in. The prices are reasonable. They are not at all over priced, because the food is incomparable and the portions are large. You absolutely get what you pay for. Coming from a family that is picky about their Italian food, this is by far the best Italian food I have ever had. Closer than a trip to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, you can enjoy the same type of quality food right in your own back yard. It’s much cheaper than driving into the city like one negative writer suggested. As for the noise, it is a small place with a warm atmosphere and yes, you need to sometimes speak up when talking. I think that is part of what makes this place an authentic Italian restaurant. I am a major food lover and cant suggest this place enough. I hope you all try this place out for yourself and ignore anything negative on this site. I promise you wont be disappointed. I have yet to have a bad dish at Roma!

Just about as close to perfect as you can get. Weve been here too many times to count (luckily we live 30 seconds away), and it gets better every time. Service is always second to none, and every meal has been stellar. And they pour the drinks stiff...which I love. And the best part is that when dinner is over, you can go right across the street to 7-11 for a slurpee! Truly a hidden gem of culinary awesomeness. Do not miss. Note: Word on the street is that the owners of Triple Play Sports bar just purchased this place, so stay tuned.

I love Romas. Their pasta and entrees are excellent! The dining area is very small... but thats what I like about it. You know your food is cooked to perfection because they are not overwhelmed with tables. They always have very good specials. The best part about Romas is the portion sizes are HUGE. I always have left overs for a couple days. I highly recommend this place. I have been going here for years and feel it really captures the taste of Italy.

Dining room is small and dark. Thats all I can say negative. The price seemed high but the portions and the flavor made the price a steal lol. I had chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and a salad. I ate and was full. What I took home I had an additional 2 lunches. The service is superb. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the food, wine and beer. Very attentive. Greeted by the owner. Recommend a visit.

You know that really nice Italian restaurant you see people go to in the movies and on TV, you know great wines, dark romantic corners, outstanding food, a crowded bar where you can get something to drink before and after you eat, a great staff. Well, Romas is that place in real life. I have never had a bad bite of food here ever. i will say that it can be crowded and I do recommend making reservations.

Wow! The food was stellar! Crisp tasty calamari, bruschetta was crisp, overflowing with tasty toppings and freshly shaved Parmesan, fresh cavatelli house made daily with house made sauce like your Italian grandmothers. Strawberry shortcake made fresh in house with thin sliced strawberrys and a tasty house made pastry that was flaky, crisp, light and delicious. Oh my! You have to go!

Loved it here. Be warned it can get loud in here at certain times and it will be difficult to have a conversation with other people at your table. The food and the service are top notch. When it gets loud I try to sit outside instead of inside. This is the best Italian place in the area. Portions are huge so you will probably have to take home some of your meal.

A gem! Food was amazing and the service superb! Waitress/host was attentive and made you feel welcome. Roma is by far the best Italian restaurant by far since moving to CT from NYC Beautiful rooms for private parties, dinning room is small but same friendly service is given at the bar.

We were in town for a funeral and on a very short notice of 1 day Dave was able to set us up with a private room for 30. On top of it all the food was amazing. We appreciated having the ability to eat and visit. Thanks

Roma is the best Italian in an area known for good Italian food. I live about 2 minutes away and it has been my favorite forever. I still get excited every time to hear the specials and see what the soup is!

This place is the worst! The food is really expensive and the service is poor. The food is not worth the money. After we ate and it was time to leave I literally waited for 20 minutes just to pay our bill.

Place was nice small but cozy. Food was expensive but good. Overall a good choice not giving 5 stars because I think it was a little over priced. But definitely recommend it.

Cheese raviolis were cooked perfectly, and had just enough sauce for each ravioli. They were not smothered! The Roma house salad was also very good. Nice staff would recommend.
