@jas-The service and food here is amazing and maybe you just had a bad experience with the waiter for whatever reason but every time I go here I am NEVER disappointed..anyone that says otherwise must NOT be talking about the same restaurant. Dont know what these reviewers are talking about. The restaurant was beautiful and had great ambiance. Never disappointed. They have a wonderful wine list including a good choice of bottles for reasonable prices. I look forward to my next visit. The menu choices were wonderful and offered something for everyone. Our server was very nice and helpful. She was able to make several suggestions that were really appreciated. Once that food enters your mouth, you are taken elsewhere to a place of pure happiness and appreciation. I will definitely go back. Enjoy!

Came to Mascali for Long Island Restaurant week with my best friend. The food was phenomenal. We both had asparagus in carozza, veal piccata, and she had rainbow cookie cake while I had pumpkin crumble. Everything was delicious. Their restaurant week options were diverse, and there were many things on the regular menu id like to try as well. The service was wonderful, although my server spilled my wine. She was very apologetic & coming from a family of restaurant people I didnt hold it against her. It was a nice environment but very empty for a Thursday night.

Good food! Annoying practice of making you wait for a menu - after drink request - yo! dummies!! if i am going to have fist ill stick with white wine, if i am going to have a heavy pasta or meat ill go red - soooo why can;t i see the dam# menu - is it a state secret? Dont like the waiter much either. But I do like the food!!! If the food wasnt good i would never go back - i dont decide to spend hard earned money to get aggravated!!! If it wasnt for the annoyance factor i would probably go every week....maybe someday they will learn!!!

I have been taking family and friends here for years because the food is always excellent and the staff is courteous. People who have complained the service is slow, should probably head to Olive Garden or Friendlys. Someplace where everything is pre-made and just needs to be heated and the staffs goal is getting you in and out fast. Nothing wrong with that, but for truly great food in a relaxed atmosphere, nothing beats Mascali

Stopped by at random to pick up some fresh cannoli for a party and OMG this place rocks. The guys behind the counter are super nice, gave us free samples of multiple items we didnt even ask for while we waited for our cannoli order which was filled fresh on the spot, powdered with the perf amount of sugar, and a smash at the party.

I have not had the pleasure of the restaurant end of it yet, however the market is great. All theyre food is wonderful. Try the pot of sauce with fresh pasta and meats. $39.99 you can feed 4 plus generously. Everyone will love it!

Went here for a shower. The food was delicious, and I am extremely hard to please when it comes to "real authentic Italian food" The service was amazing. The staff constantly made sure everyone had food and wine

The food is always delicious and reasonable. Something for everyone! The setting is simple and quiet. The staff is always friendly. Id like to rave more about it but I like it being my own private eatery :)

A terrific italian restaurant in my little town. The food is excellent. Nice and cozy. Make sure you try the sicilian salad. My only criticism is that youre not given menus when youre seated. Strange.

Probably the freshest meal and italian products you will find in suffolk. Great food great products love it here. Service is great and there is also a full bar.
