I was embarrassed to bring my out-of-town girlfriend to dinner at this local restaurant. The decor inside is hideous, without ambiance and void of anything Italian. (The seating outside appeared to be decorated the complete opposite with a live jazz band! But we didnt have reservations to sit outside despite the fact that it was abundantly available upon our arrival.) The bread was stale, the appetizer was tasteless, the salad was simply lettuce with a heaping pile of shaved carrots and bland dressings. The entrees were just OK - they were brought home and still sit in the fridge. The service was good, however the waitstaff was visibly sweating and bumping into one another (and patrons) doing the best they could with a poor floor plan. As we observed our fellow diners, it was obvious that this restaurant does not inspire people to dress appropriately nor travel from neighboring towns for a fine dining experience. I will not return and I cannot recommend this place to anyone that asks.

I tried Tivoli on their fourth day open, so hopefully this review wont hold water soon, as theyll make big improvements. The biggest negative was cameras in the dining rooms. Why am I on camera while I am eating? They were not pointed at registers... theyre in the corners of each room, pointed at diners. The lady the the short dark hair walked in circles, ordering her staff around, and they all scattered like cockroaches. This happened numerous times. They scurried to check on diners. We were asked 4x by 4 different wait people within only a couple minutes if everything was ok. It got on my nerves after a while. Food was ok. We each had a soda, and then a refill, and they charged us for 4 sodas, which I havent had a restaurant do in ages. This inflated our bill greatly. I wont be back for a while, and if I do come back, the first thing I will check for is if they still have cameras in the diningroom. How creepy.

Having given a poor review back in June 2010 vowing not to return, the Owner and Manager responded and invited us back to give Tivoli another try. My wife and I decided to take them up on their offer last Saturday night 2/12/11 after getting a baby sitter. The food was very good as was the atmosphere and whole experience. My poor review and letter to the Owner was addressed promptly and effectively as was obvious to us by the time we had Saturday night. Great job, Barbara and Franco. We will return. (By the way, they do in fact read the reviews as was evident from our experience).

I am not sure if this restaurant and the one in Danbury are of the same "chain" but I will not be ordering from this New Milford one again. I asked for Chicken Piccatta, Gluten Free and was given dry chicken and there was no pasta, only veggies as replacement. I was very disappointed. The one in Danbury has a full gluten free menu of the same foods they have on a regular menu. I can get a gluten free chicken picatta without anything replaced and without anything taken out. Perhaps, this restaurant should follow their lead.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic friendly service , Ive dined there many times in the past few years . . . Usually before viewing a movie at the nearby movie house or taking in a play at the community theatre and Ive never been disappointed with the food or service . I dined there this past Saturday January 9th before seeing a play at the nearby community theatre enjoyed a most delicious dinner as usual , I highly recommend dining there .

Dinner there on a Saturday night proved to be where it was happening! Place was crowded with happy people having a good time. Service that we had was excellent! She was attentive and efficient, and had other wait staff assisting when needed. The food was really good and there were three of us and each had a very good meal. The prices were quite reasonable for what you got and we will definitely go back again.

The food was very good, although the bread was extremely stale and certainly needs improvement. Our waitress never informed us there were any specials. After we had ordered, we heard another waiter telling his table the specials of the evening. Waitstaff needs to be more friendly and personable which makes a huge impression. I will go back and give this place another try.

The resturant it self looks nice unfortunately I have no review for the food. I went in to order two cheese pizzas, when I entered I noticed that there was a large menu with a veriety of different gormet pizzas. I took about two minutes looking at it when i decided what I wanted I waited for about seven more minutes when I decided to just leave and go elseware.

Went for Mothers Day. My 9 year old didnt like anything on the very limited menu, with higher prices than normal. I asked if he could have a small cheese pizza and the answer was no. The table behind us had a cheese pizza at some point when we were there. Over priced and poor service. Still cant believe that happened. Wouldnt recommend to others.

The food is very good here. The pizzas come out flavorful, fluffy, and fresh and the penne vodka was creamy and delicious. The location is great too - right on the Main St green. They also have a little outdoor area for al fresco dining when the weather is nice. The service is just OK, but the food is worth it. Id definitely go back again.

The staff is very welcoming and the food is traditional and scrumptious. I am very impressed! The dining setting is so beautiful ... as well as the outside eating area. Im a huge fan of the take out menu as I can get a Dinner of 2 or a Dinner for 4 for a VERY reasonable price!!!

This is an authentic Italian style restaurant where you can eat al fresco overlooking the new milford green. The food was very good and the owner even stopped by to make sure everything was good. It is very pleasantly decorated as well.

Went in for dinner. The wait staff was very attentive. Had the clams casino and they were delicious. Entree was ribeye with gorgonzola and sun dried tomatoes. Enjoyable, would go back.

My wife and I had dinner here last Sunday evening. The service was good even though they were very busy. The food was good and resonably priced. We will definitely go back again.

Best Italian in New Milford. Taste like homemade with great service and consistently great food. Dont go around the corner to that other place, it disappoints every time.

My favorite Italian restaurant in town. The food tastes like someones grandmother is doing all of the cooking. They have a great view of the green for the patio.

Food was good. Service was ok. Atmoshpere was not as quiet as i would have liked. Lot of commotion outside. I would go back but not my first choice.
