Where do I begin? As a musician, I fell in love the atmosphere upon walking in. There is music every where you turn with HUNDREDS of Ovation guitars lining the walls and remnance from the old Ovation guitar factory at every turn. Truly a charming experience. As for the food, AMAZING. If youre in the mood for some great comfort food, this is the place to be. I sampled 2 items last night and they were phenomenal. Their burgers are very rich and full of flavor and their chicken wings are nice and crispy and full of mouth watering goodness. The staff at the Parrot Delaney Tavern were great. From their hospitality to the speediness of service, its a great place to go for a night out. I understand they also host live music there which is a plus! Last night I was attending as a vendor for an event hosted at the Tavern and fro ma business owners perspective, it was a great thing to see. Local businesses helping each other out. In the current economic state of CT, to have a business owner lend a hand and be a good neighbor in the community, it is everything. Congratulations to the owners and proprietors of the Parrott Delaney Tavern on their continued success! I will most DEFINITELY be back and Im coming HUNGRY!

The food is very good, the atmosphere is great, however, the service is really bad. The staff seems young and inexperienced and not properly trained. They could have increased the bill and their tip if they just checked to see if we wanted another drink or offered dessert. Weve gone twice with a similar experience both times and even overheard the patrons at the next table over say, "Great good, terrible service." We will try it again, but are going to give it sometime to see if they can properly train staff. I recommend going for the food, but be prepared for a long visit.

Rated a 3, but has 4-5 star potential. The space is beautifully recreated. The food each time I have been here has balanced between solid and pretty good. They have a great tap list and bourbon list. As an establishment it really stands out among its local competition. On the backside however, the hours are wonky (I have tried to introduce the place to others twice just to find them closed) and the service outside of the bar has been awful. Wait staff needs more training for it to reach what it can be.

Very nice building, great music, but thumbs down to the food and attentiveness of staff. Was our first and most likely our last time visiting this establishment. I had the Caesar salad and it was horrible. We also had the wings and they were fair. They also charged a cover for eating in the back area where the band was playing. It was also very warm, you could tell the poor band was Hot.

My husband loves the wide selection of craft beers. Very unique atmosphere. Menu is good but requires a few more low cal options. Please add a greater variety of satellite stations to your playlist! If I hear Fire and Rain one more time I am going to go insane, just like Suzanne. Even a little 80s and 90s music would be a huge improvement...

I have had lots of great food here and really enjoy being here. However due to a limited amount of staff sometimes if there is a party you will not be attended to right away and will have to wait a long time. This is not their fault as they are a generally new restaurant.

Good food. If your on 2..there is a "2 on 2" rule. Meaning only 2 beers..if ur on a bike. Very pricey but good.
